I spent 30 years on San Diego sport boats. 20 of those long-range. I missed a few trips I heard Ish was on and I always regretted it but at the same time I would have chewed his ear off about BASS. I've been able to experience the best Wahoo fishing in the world at destinations that are no longer open to America. Ish is right...wahoo tacos are amazing. You two fellas, Hackney, Live see fish how I do. I just moved to Louisiana from San Diego and I love the south but San Diego long range is the best saltwater fishing in the world
I was on the trip with Ish, and had a great trip with him and the group. He was the only one going up on the bow and hooking up on the Wahoo and then no one else would get them. He also doesn't share.....LOL Ish is a great angler almost as good as his wife.... She killed it. 10 days on the Vagabond with his was a blast.
The amount of drama queens in social media hunting for clicks is out of control. Some anglers are just as guilty of causing drama. Personally I wish it would go away so we could just enjoy the fishing.

Once “easy” is here it will never go away. Especially since the younger generation knows nothing but video games. I predict there will be a split. There will be tournaments that do away with ffs and ones that don’t. There are still a lot of fishermen that like the challenge of actually going fishing. There are some that like shortcuts. Only time will tell which one holds out or if they both do.
The point Ish made about being able to scan a whole pocket instantaneously is scary as hell. I have not problem with FFS as it but I feel like it’s on the brink of getting out of control.
I understand some people hate FFS but, FFS isn’t even close to being the biggest reason if boat bass sales start to tank. It’s weird that you don’t even talk about the ridiculous prices of new bass boats and I’m sure this increases the price of used boats, not sure 100% though. People still fish without it so people will still buy boats. I get not liking FFS and I’m not too far off but, come on now lol.
@ I’m not settled since FFS. The entire reason I did tournament fishing for 30 years and bought a bass boat and committed all my vacation time to bass fishing was the “chase” and the skill building. It’s just an opinion that there are cheaper ways to have a hobby than build a 100k bass boat behind a graph that does all the work to look for the fish. It just has my head upside down and it don’t see it correcting. And usually how I feel has alot of others in the same frame of mind. Not all but many usually. Can’t take Blaukat, just sharing my view
