I think Lee will show his 8 gates, but not right now, probably by the middle of the series or by the end of the series. Momoshiki literally has a rinnegan on his hands (meaning ninjutsus are getting absorbed anyway) and better at taijutsu than Kaguya will ever be. They lost to Isshiki? He's simply stronger that's it.
After lee, tenten, choji, konohamaru, kiba were one shot I'm done. I know that Isshiki is hella strong and there's no way they can defeat them but man give respect to the OGs, give them at least a great fight. Sakura after the war trained herself to be able to keep up with Sasuke and Naruto that she was able to achieved same, if not close to the speed and strength of the 8th Gate Guy. I believe other Konoha 12 would too.

They didn't even use a substitution jutsu. I get that this is about Boruto's generation, but the OG series showed way more love to older characters (Chuunin/Jounins) than Boruto does
