Great video as always. Just wish you included a couple passes! Specially the one in ot when he got crunch up against the boards and still made a pass to dougie Hamilton. That pass was filthy
This is the first time I have seen Hughes play. He seems to always be in the right place, he always takes the right shot, he puts the puck exactly where he wants it. I know this is a highlight reel but...wow. Just crazy!
@@3flavourscornetto237 yeah. havent really watched much hockey, been crazy busy. i heard about him when he wasn't doing well. I thought he was gonna be a bust. Nope😁
one of my fav players to watch in the league super talented devils got a good one remind me of my fav player growin up Alexander Mogilny and if there are die hard devil fans here you know who Mogilny is Hughes skate similar to Mogilny and Mogilny was one of the best players to ever play in the nhl only player to score 76 goals in a season with selanne
Never actually watch JH highlights or games TBH. I kept hearing from others how elite his skating is. I'm a huge McDavid & Mackinnon fan and to be perfectly honest, his skating is not that impressive but I guess 99.99% of all hockey players in NHL history will look pedestrian and "slow" compared to McDavid & Mackinnon.
His rookie season was actually hilariously bad. Nail Yakupov actually had a better rookie season. That being said I'm happy he turned into what we thought he was
That's how you can tell who actually watched him play and who just read the stat sheet. The talent and instincts were there, but being so young he was a boy playing against men.
favorite player in the league. I remember people making fun of me because I bought his jersey back in 2020
& now i’m buying it in 2023. salute to you comrade🫡
Best thing to happen to Jersey in a long time

Was there live when it happened, an amazing assist

Kid is a stud. Devils have him on an incredible deal. Will be an exciting player to watch for the next 4-5 years!
4-5?? he'll only be 26 in 4
This boy stepped up last season! Elite player already
Ranger killer
Favorite modern day player since Patrick Kane. This kid is so smooth
I miss hockey 🏒
