Sami Safiullah I thought that was odd too. I wonder if a composting toilet with vent could have been accommodated within the 5x7 space across from the shower where the table is stored.
THAT was the first thing I noticed! It'd be like having a bowel movement in your closet. And the other aspect is that you are less than 5 feet from the kitchen, with no defined ceiling ....a long way from a window or any discernable exhaust fan. Some people might shrug, no big deal. I'm really not interested in smelling feces while I cook. Particularly if it isn't my own.
This is a very attractive tiny house. The design concept of using doors to turn a corridor into a room is a brilliant concept. Doing that for a washroom might not be perfect for everyone, but the concept could be used to create a second bedroom or office. The finishes are also really nice. I am pleased to be introduced to Ma Maison Logique, and am grateful for the subtitles in English!
That... that is fantastic. The bathroom is interesting and the hidden ladder is innovative. The owner and the designer seem to be a great match. Thank you for showing it. It's very inspiring!
AWESOME! Love it! Very smart indeed! Love the cute clean kitchen and the loft where one can lay there and look at nature and the stars at night...ditto for the great view! Merci Beaucoup and keep these great Tiny House videos coming!!!
or having to put away the ladder in the middle of the night to use the toilet, only to have to take it right out again to get back into bed? that is a lot of work while half asleep...
That's a riot! :D I saw one tiny home designed especially for drinkers. Kitchen was in the loft. Bed and bath were on ground floor. If you rolled out of bed drunk, no biggie.
I love how the bathroom tucks away. Like others I agree the toilet placement is less than ideal, but the concept behind it is fabulous. Lots of great ideas for my bus build.
This is the best kitchen I've seen yet in a tiny house. Although it does seem a better idea to put the toilet in with the cleaning supplies. Very nice guest house!
Fantastic space!! I like how you use the storage drawers on the bench to support the bed that is very clever. Also being able to dangle you feet of the bed is a nice luxury in a tiny house loft. As well love the amount of counter space in the kitchen makes it so usable. And mostly I am impressed with the bathroom! What a creative idea and I really like it. Great use of 210 sq ft. Well done and thank you for showing us your space. :)
This house is beautiful and cleverly designed. This video is also beautifully done! I think the slide-out toilet is still a great idea for space efficiency, but this is where I would definitely find the extra funds to install a composting toilet that has an exhaust fan connected to the unit and where there is a separate tank for #1 and #2, like the Nature's Head or Seperet (not sure on spelling). A further step but keeping within the same design concept, would be to place this in the utility closet versus the clothes closet. Otherwise, c'est fantastique! :)
I saved this in my best Tiny Home folder. Many unique ideas I like. Though that low of a toilet wouldn’t fly in our house. But just add a foot or two to the length and put in a proper toilet.
Me too. This is saved as my absolute favorite tiny house. Dry toilet is no problem (some friends have them and it really is OK). But the location of the clothes vs cleaning stuff needs to be switched.
Just what I was thinking. Why not put the toilet under the cleaning supplies instead? Other than that I really like this house design. Ok, maybe a larger kitchen sink. 😃
well, i found the previous comments to be a very interesting read ! :D about the toilet/shower situation : if it's true that composting toilets don't smell in the first place, they shouldn't smell in the closet either. i have watched the beginning of the video in slow motion to figure out the placement of the ladder when pulled out vs the toilet and the shower - you should be able to use both (even though the access is a little tricky) with the ladder pulled out. for the night, you could totally have the doors opened in bathroom formation and leave it like that, with the toilet pulled out and ready to use, - duh ! (sorry about the "duh !", just couldn't resist). personally, i'm less convinced by the enjoying all the shower/poop vapors elevating to your pillow, and also why climb up over the pillows. not very logical for their maison logique. so, i would just put the pillows on the other side - here comes another duh! :o) also, i would need some type of railing to prevent me from punching the pillow off the loft and possibly diving after it as well. all in all, lots of interesting ideas in this tiny house, would probably tweak something, and i love the table !!! very cool table, seems easy to manipulate. oh, and being french, i love hearing quebecers speak, but i'm usually very grateful for subtitles. some of their vocabulary is very archaic, that's super cool, - like french frozen in time and then pronounced funny. i do love you quebec, no offense ! XD
Une présentation avec tant d'éloquence, c'est rafraîchissant. Merci pour la superbe présentation; la maison est ingénieuse et de bon goût, vous devriez en être très fièr(e)s!
This dose have some ideas I haven't see before. I like the roll a way table the counter space. I think the sink might be a little small for my taste. But if it works for the homeowner good for them. It is a nice house. Thanks.
I think I agree with the folks who wouldn't want the toilet right with the clean clothes :-) and I think I would be scared of falling out of the bed! But they definitely have a lot of very creative ideas! and thank you for the translation!
That is an amazing tiny home, very well designed although I would have put a double bowl sink in the kitchen. The bathroom is very clever as well as the small table that rolls out and becomes a large table. Many good things. The bed looks very comfortable also. This has to be the best I have seen so far. Two thumbs up.
Im actually toying with the idea of having a tiny 4x4 foot trailer with a shower and toilet in it built totally separate from my 8x12 tiny house. This would free up living space and keep all toileting away from my general living quarters. I like the idea of keeping poop in a completely different place. Or simply carrying the bucket toilet outside after each use to let it compost outdoors.
Marci Boecking c'est beau * or if you said the house is beautiful, now it would be " La maison est belle" because de word "house" in french is a feminine word. :)
@@MrFaithfulx you mean there's no way to say "it's beautiful" if the object you're referring to is considered feminine?? Does "beau" refer to the (feminine) house in "c'est beau"?
Really love this design! Great work! However I feel like the ladder is in the wrong spot.. What if someone wants to take a shower while someone else is in the loft? Does not work. No one wants to be locked in the shower or wait until the other person is finished with their shower...
My thoughts, also. Way too many things to do just to pee, too. Open this, slide tht, lift this, move that. i want to open the door, lift the lid, pull down the pants, and go without suddenly seeing that I forgot to open the shower cupboard to block the window.
Everyone is complaining about the toilet, but I'm getting anxiety thinking about rolling out of bed and falling to the kitchen 😬😬 Beautiful windows and skylight tho 😅
Lovely build. Great appointments right up to the toilet. I would have said that to have a toilet like that is a personal choice. However but to have it as a guest house and a toilet in a bucket is certainly different. Maybe in Quebec things are different
I love the very clean and clear lines! gorgeous design. Clever way to hide the toilet, but I would have located it away from the vicinity of the kitchen. I would also make sure it is aired out of the house with a fan, as is the case with the Nature's Head toilets.
Impressive innovation, but remember, "if it moves it will break" so the hidden ladder moves and is attached to something that moves. One of these things is going to break faster than a ladder attached to a fixed point. Also, if your guest wants to use the shower while you sleep, you have to evacuate through the kitchen? (I think extracting and extending the ladder from above might be hard.) What I loved is your accent. Minion. Merqi.
I think I agree with the folks who wouldn't want the toilet right with the clean clothes :-) and I think I would be scared of falling out of the bed! But they definitely have a lot of very creative ideas! and thank you for the translation! I can read French but every time I listen to someone speak it, it sounds like they are saying "soixante dollars!" lol
I'm glad we got a better look at how the bathroom works in this video. very cool. I guess the composting toilet works well for them to be brave enough to have clothing above it. So can this be off grid?
Small house it's not always cheap house. Because many unique solutions demand high skills. If you can build simple house with your own hands and buy standard furniture. It will be cheap. Your work and simplicity saves the budget and increases the possible size of the house
Some people choose to live in a tiny house to minimize the amount of space and ressources they use. Even in that case though, you are right: if you have the skills, the tools and the time to build it yourself, you could save some money.
Wonderful little house. I agree about the placement of the toilet. The idea is great. Just needs a little redesign of the storage above the pull out loo. Beautiful property. I could be comfortable there. Wonder what it cost and how much the property is. All in all very well done.
Oh !! I just discovered your channel thanks to Kombi Life !! I love it ! You won a subscriber !! Keep doing the good work ! You are amazing and so inspiring !
The concealed bathroom is a really cool idea. But I just wish the composting toilet was not so close to my clean clothing!
Sami Safiullah I thought that was odd too. I wonder if a composting toilet with vent could have been accommodated within the 5x7 space across from the shower where the table is stored.
A very smart idea ! Seems strange at first ,but I KNOW the composting toilets have no odor to smell up the clothing ! So I would do it too !
THAT was the first thing I noticed! It'd be like having a bowel movement in your closet. And the other aspect is that you are less than 5 feet from the kitchen, with no defined ceiling ....a long way from a window or any discernable exhaust fan. Some people might shrug, no big deal. What if you add pine cones to your composting material...step on the dried ones to crumple them.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the bathroom.
that ladder is GENIUS
Très contente d'entendre parler encore d'une entreprise québécoise! Thank you for the video!

BettyWoo hidden ladder concept was Awesome!
AWESOME! Love it! Very smart indeed! Love the cute clean kitchen and the loft where one can lay there and look at nature and the stars at night...ditto for the great view! Merci Beaucoup and keep these great Tiny House videos coming!!!
Wonderfully designed home! Love how builders of tiny homes are really thinking outside the box.
Wow great job! People don't realize how much time and planning these tiny houses take. I'm sure the owners love it
I could listen to her talk all day long 😍 im sure the tiny house is great as well
That bedroom view tho; would be amazing to wake up to every morning, no matter the weather, with dangling feet.
I loved their first build. this one isn't bad either. but the bathroom...well I'm not a fan of, but the creativity is great.
I love how opening the doors "creates" the bathroom area. But I wouldn't be too jazzed about storing my clothes directly above the composting toilet.
or having to put away the ladder in the middle of the night to use the toilet, only to have to take it right out again to get back into bed? that is a lot of work while half asleep...
D , motorize the pop-out toilet, and develop a really good aim from the loft bed.
Not sure how that would work out with female anatomy..as for myself I'm thinking 9/10 on target when sober.
That's a riot! :D I saw one tiny home designed especially for drinkers. Kitchen was in the loft. Bed and bath were on ground floor. If you rolled out of bed drunk, no biggie.
LOVE THE BATHROOM! I am going to implement that in my truck camper on a much smaller scale. Very very interesting!!!
I love the huge dining table and the convertible bathroom/dressing room area with the fold-away ladder to the loft.
Love the skylight! Couldn't work with the toilet situation lol but I love the skylight 😌
AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS DESIGN !!!!!!! SUCH A GREAT JOB U DID !!!!
Cool space, but I'm not a fan of the placement of the composting toilet. It just feels wrong below the clothes.
Thumbs up for the video and FIST PUMPS for the clean, legible subtitles -- that's how films should be subtitled.
I've literally watched 300+ tiny house videos and this one is by far, my favorite. Well done!
This could be a great chalet for renting out to tourists, as a small business.
Good job !
This was the most enjoyable tiny house video I have ever watched.
WOW!!!!!!Just Wow!!!! Super Superb!! Super Superb!! Super Superb!!
Super Thanks for Sharing!!

Love the airy light open design and the clever bathroom!
The bathroom solution is ingenious! I looove this tiny house

I loved that video entrance. It had a professional intro vibe.
Thanks so much Cory =)
Beautiful! Love the efficiency & simplicity of this house!

Me too. This is saved as my absolute favorite tiny house. Dry toilet is no problem (some friends have them and it really is OK). But the location of the clothes vs cleaning stuff needs to be switched.
One of the prettiest i've seen! 😍
Its a cool concept but i can't imagine having my poop sitting 1 ft below all my fresh clean clothes
Just what I was thinking. Why not put the toilet under the cleaning supplies instead? Other than that I really like this house design. Ok, maybe a larger kitchen sink. 😃
livetofly9 exactly! 😱
the toilet... I can't imagine everything will be caught by that tiny bin.
livetofly9 lmao that's what I was thinking at that part
Yep that's called a wet bath.
Beautiful house and scenery.
I love how efficient it is. I think I'm addicted to watching these and secret room videos.
Amazing Video!!! I really love the concealed shower and toilet. The design is just amazing! Good Job!
Artificial Grass lo

C'est le fun d'entendre qqun parler francais!
So smart all these tiny house constructions. Love your videos.
You guys make the best videos, other tiny house people could learn a thing or two on filming and editing.😀
Thanks so much!! We do put a TON of work into each video and it's always nice to get positive feedback like this :) :) :)
Definitely shows..been watching since day one.. I think the quality makes your work especially interesting.
Exploring Alternatives I also think your quality and willingness to film concepts that others wouldn't make you very good!!!
Super cool space! What a view sitting with her feet off the ledge. Great video
Great kitchen. I could see myself cooking in there.
This is by far my fav I really want to buy it😍😍
Awesome. She's beautiful. Makes me wanna buy one
Life is short, live in a cool house!
I luv the smart design of this tiny house. The one thing she didn’t show was a washer/dryer combo and a refrigerator unless I missed that part.
one of my favorite designs (but maybe with a slightly smaller sink!)
This is such a beautiful home! I love the Scandinavian designs.
I love the concept of the window making the place bright. But I feel the kitchen overtook 60% of the space.
she is gourgous!
perfect. I'll take 2. thanks
This dose have some ideas I haven't see before. I like the roll a way table the counter space. I think the sink might be a little small for my taste. But if it works for the homeowner good for them. It is a nice house. Thanks.
Great ideas that can give a good knowladge.

Great video again and really good job translating (not easy to do)!!
Phil LeBlanc thanks Phil 😊
Which one you speaks CAN French?
I like that u gave a few different ideas on how to minimize space.
Some very clever ideas! Well done.
WTF! The toilet? Now thanks! love my privacy!!

Skylight is great
Great TH concepts! As usual, Matt & Danielle, you've provided an excellent video tour! Thank you!
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!
C'est belle!! :) I love the two windows in the corner...bright and airy feeling. So nice. :)

or use the toilet at night?
:D
maybe you could slip down the space where they dangle their legs down onto the kitchen counter :)
Exactly...ladder on the other side of the loft and everything would be just perfect :)
There is easily space for that after kitchen cabinets :)
Everyone is complaining about the toilet, but I'm getting anxiety thinking about rolling out of bed and falling to the kitchen 😬😬
Beautiful windows and skylight tho 😅
Beautiful home
Came for the house, stayed for the french ☺️💘
this is definitely a favorite
Lovely build. Great appointments right up to the toilet. I would have said that to have a toilet like that is a personal choice. However but to have it as a guest house and a toilet in a bucket is certainly different. Maybe in Quebec things are different
Very spacious (the perfect tiny house).
Great solutions, hope the toilet don´t smell :) and what a view from the house
👍👍💞really different, multi functional, Yet simplistic to the eyes
love this!
Hugs from Maine.
Thumbs up... ENJOY... THE SIMPLE LIFE

Thanks David :) :)

pretty cool design....
Her brown cardigan in the thumbnail got me
I'd swap the cleaning cupboard into a wardrobe, otherwise it's stunning!
Brilliant!
Thanks for watching =)

Great little house!
Looks nice!
i laughed so hard at the toilet in the closet... Yes, bright idea indeed...
I can't imagine pooping in my wardrobe! then closing it back up. lololol
Beautiful design, but I'd find a couple of feet to put in a secluded composting toilet that vents. Other then that, it's awesome.
