I Love Stallone's attitude, his paintings and the way he has to much to share. I been painting for over 35 years. I´m not good at it, but I´m really persistent and Love what I do. Surviving is an every day game and if You wake up tomorrow You are a winner... Thumb UP. 🙂 I have doubts but I can not give up. I wish Success and Smiles to everyone.. Thanks for sharing. 😊😊😊

@Homeless2success * hang there. No doubt you'll be what you need to be n wish to be. I so pray you believe in Padre God & just ask in to guide you as you express your journey, sights, emotions, beauty, still life, just so much out there that you witness & experienced. Please TRY not n get caught up in the ugly of life, for sadly too many artists do not have a handle in balancing that. Like with everything in life, there is a healthy balance. Padre God Bless you 🙏

Stan Dack It is precisely there you would begin - it would be intrinsic to your need to tell your story, and to tell it in your own way. He has been producing these paintings over a span of many years, and each reflects his feelings about contemporaneous issues he faced. His style did not move, but his commentary was not static. Central is his knowledge of dark/light, and these works expose that knowledge no matter the subject. Personally, the style is not of my aesthetic preference, but his intent and content I greatly admire and trust. The closer to our own truth we cleave, the tools, style, instincts, thoughts and feelings will become clear to us, and the urge to create will unfold in each of our unique way. It has to matter to us to work out our vision.

I remember when I was a kid watching an interview with him, it possibly was a Barbara Walters special, not sure, it was a long time ago in the 80s and it showed him painting, I thought it was just a hobby of his at the time. Glad I came across this. It was interesting. I love his passion.

@@Elly3981 I believe he emphasizes the slur more in his Rocky roles. BC if you notice, its not that thick as he speaks, just a slight, more like a lisp slur, its so unique n precious. He's is surprisingly candid & his passion is not surprising at all.

I think Sylvester Stallone is a 'deep and connected to source' artist, who has a lot to say and is articulate in saying it. How I would love to paint with him! He has totally inspired me and is now one of my favourite artists of all time. I love his use of different mediums and how unafraid he is of telling his stories and giving them all such meaning. Jane was with him when he was painting the delicate 'not my style' painting of her with her heart on the conveyor belt of blood... I also love the idea behind the mirror juxtaposed to the painting...so meaningful. I truly hope he keeps painting, as all great artists do, as nothing else matters, because it brings such joy and freedom, especially in times of sorrow and pain. He also has an obsession with time and getting the most out of it. Thank you for such an authentic video, wonderful.

Wow, as a Michael Jackson scholar, Stalone makes some poignant points. Mj was more of an actor than anything, he even mentions it in his depositions, indicating that he himself understood the very concepts Stalone makes of him in this video. In seeing this, its clear to me that Stalone evolved and transcended the windows of self destruction; and through art, and more, became very in tune, and was able to push aside the fantasies of the entertainment world. In alot of was he reminds me of Marlon Brando, although Stalone comes off to me less diva-like; although it could be his own mask, as well. lol

The theatrical character of Rocky Balboa is and will always have the moving emotional affect on all who meet and get to know young Rocky Balboa.
A spiritual cleansing was and is the medicine that Rocky instills. Rocky's purity and kindness was not taught to him, it wasnt learned from a role model or mentor type that Rocky may have had growing up,
His sweet, decent, selfless, Christ like spirit and personality, it wasnt inherited through lineage.
We cant deduce to that conclusion because We arent educated about Rockys origins, nothing is shared about his parents, we werent given in depth specifics about his mother or about his father.
Things like Who they were, what they contributed to Rocky good or bad, we know nothing about his mother's personality, her character, her beliefs, nor do we know any of these aspects and characteristics of his father.
So we can only come to conclusion concerning how Rocky possessed all the Qualities Christ laid out for us to obtain only through the Holy Spirit residing in us. Born Again a new Creature In Christ JESUS .
Rocky was an enigma of devine implementation, Only God the Father, Christ JESUS His only BEGOTTEN son could custom instill and ingrain all of the qualities and naturally pure intuitions and inner motivations that Rocky was born with and operated his life by.
Even as the leg breaker and neck ringing debt collector for local mob loan sharks Rocky waa still displaying kindness and compassion. When he was supposed to break a guys fingers or whatever was ordered by the boss due to delinquent debt, Rocky would neglect to carry out the violent crippling in favor of sympathizing with the one in debt.
Almost pleading with them to do whatever they needed to do to pay on the debt. Begging them almost to pay something in order to avoid violence.
And not completely for the sake of the one who faced a crippling, more so He Gave them advice and time for himself. Rocky desperately tried to avoid hurting others at all cost.
So Rockys kind, caring, calming, pure optimistic demeanor struck not only a nerve in almost every American who watched Rocky, it was like a spiritual connection, a kinship of sorts with this fictional silver screen new acquaintance, a new best friend who we were all rooting for hard, we were all in the struggle with him, we were emotionally and spiritually invested in this Movie character who before the halfway point of the first Rocky we all were Backing and had genuine Love for before any of the tens of millions of us new it.
Rocky touched us all with a Demeanor and personality that we all craved, not specifically craving these amazingly attractive traits for ourselves in all cases but longed to just have someone in our real lives just like Rocky.
So intoxicating and mesmerizing, so fulfilling and fortifying, so beautiful and needed.
Rocky is and always will be the most moving motivational fictional movie Character of all time. In many ways Rocky images Sylvester Stsllones natural character and personality.
I'll sum up all the complexities of Rocky by quoting one scene from the film, this says it all and sums it all up, when they are having the press conference live with all the paparazzi and reporters, right after they pick the young unknown brawler called the Italian Stallion to fight The Unified Heavy Weight Champion if the world Appolo Creed, it's the greatest gift that could be given a boxer, like winning lottery 100 times, an impossible dream.
As Appolo laces out his lyrical arrogant barrage of poetic self worship, they then question Rocky, saying how it's a tremendous amount of money guaranteed to just step in ring with Appolo. Asked him what he would buy. He said he was gonna get Adrian like a gallon of the perfume she liked, give some to the Church kids at the mission, some for Micks gym, and A SNOW CONE MACHINE FOR PAULEY, this drew a big laugh. Which aggravated Apollo, who jumped up and pissed off said
YALL THINK THIS IS A CIRCUS, FUN AND GAMES BUT THIS CHUMP BETTER HAVE HIS HEAD ON RIGHT AND READY FOR THE BEATING OF THE CENTURY, FROM THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMP, IF NOT HE WILL GET HURT PERMANENT, MAYBE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY IMPAIRED FOREVER. OR WORSE.
AS APOLLOS ENTOURAGE STARTED LEAVING THEY ASKED ROCKY TO RESPOND, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY TO THAT ROCK,
"DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING DEROGATORY TO SAY ABOUT THE CHAMP"??
ROCK SAYS IN HIS KIND SWEET VOICE, "UHH..OH YEAH I DO. ..
    I TINK HIS GREAT"!!
    LOL!
LIKE MICK SAID, YOURE ALL HEART ROCK.
