In summation, the odd relationship between the two universes seems to be the product of them overlapping more then it seems to be the result of events on a "Prime Equestria" and a Prime Plane is not required for a multiverse.

It sounds interesting; it makes me think this alternate universe is one of Nobledark (A-la, Tolkein's Legendarium), while the one we know is Noblebright.
I actually have, like, a WHOLE FAN-FICTION about alternate realms and gender bender. It introduces a fifth princess that looks over the different universes (and is Luna's twin sister) and the only reason for not being with her subjects and no one knowing who she is because she travels through universes trying to keep everything in line. And the reason she does this in the first place is because she is a blank flank and feels like she is unworthy to have an official throne. It a whole long thing but this theory has opened new doors to explore. Thank you a lot.
perhaps there are lots of universes out there, but not all of them are connected via portals and such. the ones that are connected might work like ions, being able to change and effect one another (pass charges), but it takes more and more energy and it becomes less and less stable the less balanced they are. so if universes connect while already being different they can become more balanced, but not completely, as they started with different worlds (atoms) and charges (was it already effected by another universe). that way universes might effect other universes indirectly by changing a 'bridge' universe without having an actual connection.

I have always been a fan of using the Multiverse theory for roleplay since it makes way for many things. I also think that each universe in the multiverse is another timeline and time-going through time is the same as universe jumping in my head.
I work with the idea of a “Multi-verse tree” the main timeline, whichever it could be(your choice) and with each… big choice or event that could have ended in two or more different ways can be formed. A hand full of examples can be given say… Nightmare moon. Their are two endings if we use the multi-verse tree. One where the mane 6 save Luna and one where they don’t, and so forth so on. But that’s how I see it, each event, big moment, or anything else and more branches form. It’s hard to explain though.
I think this would make a good mlp 2 parter, not only would it give us new villians in the form of celestia and luna but the could bring back some of the older ones and give us more insight to their characters, with "this is what would they do if the were good" scenario
my perspective on the whole timeline based multiverse, each universe is the original. imagine you copied yourself, the other you would have the exact same memories and experiences as you up until the split, each one of you gaining new, unique memories and experiences afterwards, each of you splitting multiple times would create more and more differences between the new memories and experiences until one of you is completely different from another. it makes sense that divergent universes would follow the same principle
Whether or not the multiverse theory is real, I believe that our choices and actions matter, except for minor stuff like which flavor of ice cream we buy.
I am pretty sure that before Celestia and Starswirls wanderings the other dimensions were similar because they had the same pieces and places, aside from the variations, and were aloud to follow their own destinies in their own universes. When Celestia and Starswirl were traveling back and forth they were changing the destinies of both planes by adding their essences to them. By the end of the plot the boundary that separated the destinies were torn down and forced into one world.

I actually wrote a story where my OC accidentally forced a sequel to the Reflections arc. And, well...everypony suffered because the worlds were relinked.
attempting to comprehend the Multiverse is one of the Fastest ways to drive yourself to insanity. however if you already understand it, its vary easy to follow. its another one of those 'you get it, or you don't' type of subjects, its partner in crime being time travel.
It is TOTALLY possible. All though it could have been a mirror to the past. Picture this if you will (head cannon mine shush if you don't like head cannons) When the good Sambra "dies" then the evil Sambra is created. What if this triggers one of the sisters to turn good. As in they switch morals. I believe that if this is to be true then it would most likely be Celestia. Because in the comic they were OBVIOUSLY IN LOVE!!!!!!! That would be my inner shipper (sorry not sorry) anyways once the good Celestia is now here she banishes Luna to the moon as Night Mare Moon. Now I believe that the good Queen Chrysalis is friends with the other Luna (though I am assuming that Clestia and Luna were at least good before the hole evil thing) and once Luna is Night Mare Moon and gets off the moon and is defeated by the Mane Six Queen Chrysalis sacrificed herself (her goodness that is) for Luna and for her to be good again OK I'm done now
The MLP comics (at least some of them) have a surprisingly dark look for something based off 'a show for little girls.' This sort of makes me wonder if some of the comics, are actually meant to cater more to the adult fan-base. In the TV show, they hardly ever feature anything scary (although I did forget Twi was in a flashback and thus thought they had killed off Tia in the season 4 premiere). From the sounds of it though, there are multiple instances where somewhat disturbing stuff does take place in the comics. And the art style is totally different from the show. I realize that different comics have different artists, but the images you showed in this video, are actually kind of creepy (not what you'd expect from MLP comic-books).
The way you 2 explained this theory with Hasbro Equestria and Equestria 2 (evil Equestria) and how it works, sounds so similar to how it works with Mobius and Moebius (Anti-Mobius) from the Sonic the hedgehog Archie Comics. Maybe IDW took more inspiration from Archie Sonic then EG (Equestria Girls) for the idea of multiversal travel in the comic and how certain (or all) counterparts of a character are connected. Much like how Sombra in the Hasbro Equestria was killed but Sombra from Equestria 2 remained to be in perfect condition reminds me to how when Sonic uses the Chaos Emeralds he's in perfect condition afterwards but when Scourge (Anti-Sonic) uses his world's version of the emeralds, he is in the worst condition possible. But that's just me
The evidence (in the comic and in the show itself) seems to imply that the world explained in the comic was the primary world. It appears to be linked in some way. And I think that yes, CC, there WAS an alternate world where you two were talking. It seems to me that our world, however, IS the primary world.
What if the main universe was one where every potion, spell, and everything else that you can think of was using at the same time, warping the space-time continuum? Thus, causing a butterfly effect that made other universes and at the same time caused events to happen differently in each universe? Thoughts?
It could Also be that Evil Celestia was also injured during the first fight with good celestia but Evil sunbutt recovered by the time she physically appeared.
Existential theories are always complex and somewhat frightening. But I suppose this theory makes sense. Just as CC stated, we don't even know if we are the prime universe of ours, with that said, I don't think its a matter of which one we are, or which one mlp is, but rather, does it matter all that much? Yes, its an interesting theory to ponder, but it wouldn't really change anything too significantly, just as if we found out our universe was #2 or #8 or whatever. We would all still live on as we did, with the exception of possibly feeling a little crappy because we weren't #1 but so what? This universe is still awesome and so is the one we've been watching.
Nice job Canned and Voice I've always thought that theory was true good job adding more things to think about you showed me a lot of things that I didn't even consider to think about, about this theory + Evil Celestia must be punished for hurting two Luna's Canned I think we need to go into that evil universe and take care of business. And don't worry about it because your an earth pony my OC is a unicorn I got this. FOR BOTH LUNA'S WE GO PUNISH EVIL CELESTIA FOR HER CRIME'S IN TO BATTLE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, multi-verse theory is very touchy. No one can honestly say one universe is the original because in theory all of them are the same age, even if the worlds are completely different in technology or social standards and such. As for the whole one getting hurt the other gets hurt, and it doesn't happen the same way around is a bit more complicated. It could either prove one is a stem from the other, and vice versa. Or perhaps it was simply caused by the portal that they went through. I haven't read the comics yet, but if our Celestia went through this portal before the evil Celestia did, our Celestia could just have easily been connected to her counter part, but if the evil Celestia didn't go through the portal it didn't connect her to our Celestia. If she did, then it could just be a matter of who went through the portal first. One going through connecting one world to another, where if a citizen get's hurt on one then that same citizen get's hurt on the other. But not the other way around.
I think it hold a little bit of water, but then again I haven't read any comics myself and don't know anything about them, so I can't say for myself whether or not any of the comics add anything to the canon. All I do know is that Babs Seed is a good detective, Discord is a member of the CMC, there's a polar opposite universe, and that there is an inconsistency with the ages between pony Babs and human Babs. But from what it sounds like, it does seem like show Equestria might not be the "prime" universe due to the pain transmission. If such a thing were to be true with show Equestria being the prime, then either all universal characters share the same pain or the opposite flow would occur. However, I doubt that it is like this originally, since I heard from somewhere that show Equestria is the only one with the Tree of Harmony and the Elements of Harmony (which makes me wonder if Discord is present through all universes). So yeah, form the outside looking in, it does seem like the Equestria we know and love isn't the prime/original/Amadeus/whatever universe, or at least have switched places due to universal plane tearing (way to go Celestia). Then again, I'm not entirely sure that any of the comics are established canon...I haven't really seen any staff member of the show's opinion towards the comics. So it can be just some person's interpretation of things and spin to make the comic more interesting, which is certainly does. And you really can't over think a piece of creative art. Within art, all things are to be questioned. Even if you know for sure that you thought of something was not intended by the artists themselves (maybe from them telling you that it was not what they intended) implications of things still go into the works. Even if one tiny little thing is implied accidentally or some issue is unsolved and never addressed...it is completely up to the creative imaginations of viewers to come up with their own interpretations, even if such interpretations are to the artists' chagrin. Even something as simple as a children's comic of a children's show. Because hey, all media is available to be enjoyed by all people.
IMO, the universe we were exposed to from season 1 episode one is the Prime universe, since in the comics it's mentioned this universe is the one with the Elements of Harmony & by extension the Tree of Harmony (though it didn't mention if it's the only one, but it's a safe assumption). As for us, even if we are not the prime universe, it doesn't matter because what we are who we are, we are responsible for what we did & not what our other (potential) versions' deeds
From what I remember, The Comics aren't canon but they are doing all they can to try not to contradict the show. I have yet to read any of them and wasn't sure I wanted to. Following what was said however it seems like the 2 worlds will merge sooner or later regardless. Every time someone crosses over it has to bring the worlds closer regardless of who is doing the crossing. It's going to be interesting either way. They have yet to really "kill" any character. Banish them, seal them on the moon or in stone. Drive them into a different dimension. But....there can't be 2 of every character. Sooner or later a good v.s. evil war will happen (at least in the comics) and character's will die forever. And....I'm not sure that's a good direction for a children's comic.
hey CC! I have a topic that, as a musician myself, would loved to be explored. Musician in equestria. We already know that turntables, cellos and some string instruments exist in their world but i would love to see what other instruments you think are possible to play in their world!
If you look at the opening song on episode 1 in the back round there is a brown colt pulling a cart .But later the colt was Big Mac that was pulling a cart .Do you think that then it wasn't the prime world and then it changed making the colt red?
......My head hurts..... This is too much! But makes good points. I'd have to say though that damage to the Prime doesn't always result in damage to Secondary Universe. But there is the possibility knowing so little of Multi-verses other than their unpredictability.
Not that I'm an expert in this sort of thing, but I have to question the whole "Prime having master effects over secondary" theory. I've seen my fair share of multi-verse fictions in the past, and one example that comes to mind in this case is Turtles Forever. In that movie, Utrom Shredder learns more about the multi-verse, and discovers that there a large number of variations of his most hated enemies, the TMNT. So, he hatches a plan to destroy the entire Ninja Turtles multi-verse by destroying Turtles Prime, the first and original Ninja Turtles universe. While that movie did some things similar to what this comic did, there were differences in how they handled it. First off, while killing Turtles Prime would've resulted in the erasure of the Turtles Multi-Verse, it only affected the alternate Turtle teams when Turtles Prime were facing imminent death. Any pain inflicted on them was not automatically transferred to their counterparts. Not to mention, destroying Turtles Prime had the same erased-from-reality effect on characters not directly associated with them (Karai, 80's Shredder, 80's Kraang, etc.). Also, the movie showed the Prime version of Shredder being knocked off a roof, yet nothing happened to the alternate versions of him. Basically, my thoughts is that while different universes can share similarities between each-other, it doesn't automatically mean everything that happens in the Prime universe can have adverse affects on the different universes that splinter off in it.
my conclusion to that comic was that the two worlds were strictly parallel with almost all things being similar, almost. The biggest factor you guys forgot was that the other world did not have the elements of harmony, this to me was a big hint. My Hypothesis to why the two worlds had become so connected is that the mirror world was simply a natural balanced world, where the MLP world is a magically balanced world. so when Celestia keeped on going into the mirror world, the elements of harmony began to connect to that world, and started to forcefully balance the other world with it's own. What this would mean is that by bringing the elements of Harmony to the mirror world, the balancing suddenly went into overdrive, and possibly the Elements my have been trying to return to their own world, forcing the worlds to combine into one.
I went to mlpanalysis and I am going to start a RUclips channel for MLP so I was wondering if I could mention you in it (I am very careful with other people's well their you know profile)so I can recommend your channel. I also share your love with princess Luna. I'm also a talker so I thought I would make a suggestion you should talk about the diamond dogs and how they make their appearance in equestria girls
also with a thing that cc went on the brony notions channel about does that mean the elements of disharmony exist in that world and the allicorn amulat was one of the things celestia broght back
My thoughts are that the multiverse is connected together by the mirror pool. In the episode too many pinky pies, when she creates her first clone, she steps into the pool, comes out of another side, and gains a completely different mind set, being only able to think about the one thing she created the clone for in the first place, having fun with her friends. Considering the fact that pinkie is known for her 4th wall breaking, possible predictions of the future, and being able to come out of nowhere, and being the only one in the show that we've seen use the mirror pool, there is a possibility that the equestria we have watched since too many pinkie pies, might not be the same one we saw before. There is also the possibility that other portals in mlp, including the mirror in mlp eg, the one in the comic, and even the teleportation spell and Luna's spell to enter the dream realm originated from the mirror pool. Since glass is made from burned sand, it's possible that by using the
Spell that rarity used to combine pieces of fabric in the episode, a well trained unicorn could combine sand, fire, and water from the mirror pool to create the portals we see in the show. As for the teleportation spells, we know that science and technology exist in equestria. A pony could have taken a sample of mirror pool water, studied it's properties and created spells from them. Which reminds me, I once heard a theory that when twilight came back as an alicorn, she also came back as an angel. The theory states that when she was blasted by the elements, she died, and became reborn as an alicorn. I think that is correct, except when she came back, she was in a completely different universe. When the twilight we know died, the other twilights from the other universes did as well. Knowing that twilight could not return to her own world, celestia sent the twilight we know to another universe, while the other worlds' mane 6 were left in sorrow, for there friend could not return.
No-Pony hurts 3 Luna's at the same time, 3rd is Vice-Principle Luna from EQG.

6:00 the dude regenerated his entire body from the very tip of his horn.
not only do i say that dude is alive, i say there are probably 100 of him running around, concealed Ala shadows.
CC, you totally need to watch Red Dwarf. That whole show is about time travel and alternate universes.
I actually wrote a story where my OC accidentally forced a sequel to the Reflections arc. And, well...everypony suffered because the worlds were relinked.
She hurt Luna. Not okay.
Sounds like a conversation that a show like Rick and Morty should tackle.
I have a very in-depth understanding of time space and the multiverse.
attempting to comprehend the Multiverse is one of the Fastest ways to drive yourself to insanity. however if you already understand it, its vary easy to follow.
its another one of those 'you get it, or you don't' type of subjects, its partner in crime being time travel.
Awesome and cool!❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎🤍💖💓💗💕💞💘💝😊🤗
Just wanted to say that ponies are one of the best superheros the defeated Mane-iac in 1 episode!
Now I believe that the good Queen Chrysalis is friends with the other Luna (though I am assuming that Clestia and Luna were at least good before the hole evil thing) and once Luna is Night Mare Moon and gets off the moon and is defeated by the Mane Six Queen Chrysalis sacrificed herself (her goodness that is) for Luna and for her to be good again OK I'm done now
This is very interesting! I want to watch more!
4:22 savage 🤣😆❤
I like the theory 👌❤
What if each world is the possible outcome of every choice, so every time someone makes a choice, the world splits?
I love you CC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When it comes to the Multiverse theories I say they do not hold water they overflow with it connecting multiple different universes
But that's just me
"She hurt Luna...She hurt two Lunas." Actually she hurt every Luna in every universe.
I LOVE when cannedcream loves luna
Hey cc that was a very compelling video
Could you do one on how mlp
And the human world(our human world) are possibly connected
The idea of a Googolplex makes this a hell of lot weirder.
FOR BOTH LUNA'S WE GO PUNISH EVIL CELESTIA FOR HER CRIME'S IN TO BATTLE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
one like = less luan abuse
Ladies, Gentlemen, Humans, and Ponies I present to you...the headache that is the multiverse theory!
I agree with the multiverse idea, in fact my OC Shy Shadow is experienced with this topic.
I need to read the comics, that was an awesome theory!
4:20
That is not okay.
I CAN'T STOP REPLAYING THAT XD
Hi and I agree with you that's not okay to hurt two Lunas but I can't stop laughing at his face because of the way his face Looked.
*Explodes*
😱WHAT?!
Justin: Welp. One moment *Cleans the exploded me up and vanishes through a laptop portal*
😶
SHE HURT LUNA!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!! NO NoNoNONONONONO NO! WAYIT. CAN. NOT. BE. REAL!😾
anyway I HATE luna
hey CC! I have a topic that, as a musician myself, would loved to be explored. Musician in equestria. We already know that turntables, cellos and some string instruments exist in their world but i would love to see what other instruments you think are possible to play in their world!
the multiverse sting theory MLP's got going on has always interested me. I need to learn mooooore!
0:25 that awkward moment wen u see another pony that u didn't pony nap suddenly shows up in your youtube room XD
CC, I'm scared, hold me. *hides face behind wings*
my conclusion to that comic was that the two worlds were strictly parallel with almost all things being similar, almost.
Hahah the hurt has been doubled yeahhhhh!!! Hahaha lol
What makes this more interesting is when you consider that BioShock Infinite is canon
CSI MIAMI INTO SO COOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL 4:25
She hurt best princes. She hurt. Best. PRINCES! SHE WILL DIE!!!!!
okay how is it possible that Luna's #1 fan and the guy who called her out for being "overrated" where able to collab together and nothing exploded?
bassically what i think is that the equastria we know is a time warp in the other world
~Brohoofs AnY~ nice one dude, nice one
I definetly agree! But... I haven't read the comics, so I can't back it up. Once I do I will give my thoughts.
O-O I overthank it like CC and now I'm scared. HOLD ME! T^T
*holds you* there there it will be okay......wait WHAT h-hurting l-l-luna.....
:''''''((((
YOU ARE A BLANK FLANK * stands by silverspoon, babs, and dimond tiara* blank flank blank flank!
WHERES YOU'RE CUTIE MARK!?!?!??!
I say neither where the prime but where very close universes that split recently.
All the comic questions are answer in the cartoon except for alternate world.
