Lol this whole time it looked like Tosin really didn't want to endorse this guitar cuz it was a result of so many people not happy about the design of their usual guitars. I do wish this was fan-fretted though along with the new body shape.

@JON BONG JOVI LOL headstock has never bothered me. Lift some weights if 8 extra lbs is a deal breaker for you. Also, might as well stop playing wooden guitars that have metal altogether if that is a concern for you....

Man that’s a gorgeous instrument great job guys🔥👏🏾. I wonder if in the near future we’ll see a 7 string Space T with Filtertron or P90 style Pickups that would be killer too.
The Emi looks to be the true 6 string ABASI guitar, both from artistic and functional perspective. The Larada is easily the best 8 string I have seen. But shrunk to 6, you immediately get the sense that it's a bit off - especially playing up the neck. The Emi is a translation of everything that makes the Larada amazing as an 8 string, plus a lot of further improvements and modifications that would really appeal to more traditional guitar players. Hope to get to try one in the near future.
I'm not a guitar player, just a design teacher and artist, but I want one just to look at and enjoy. Appreciate the design of these guitars...maybe learn to play as well.
It's good design. Similar remarks were heard about solid body guitars from the 50s with custom colors taken from the high-end automobiles of their day, etc
Truly gorgeous design and practicality I straight up drool over. If you guys are ever looking to get rid of one of these, Ill take it off your hands 👀. Lmao
These are beautiful instruments. Have y'all considered 24" scale or 24.75" scale instruments? They require a little more precision from the builder, and I believe abasi could make the perfect short scale guitar
Different designs is a must to succeed. I'm personally not a fan of the Larada from an aesthetics standpoint. I cannot say the same for the Emi. Cheers
I totally stole their idea of strat style jack on the back of the instrument for my own guitars 😂 it's much nicer than having the cable bend and dig into your leg or coming straight off the face of the instrument
“Sponsored by Rolex!” Jk! 😅 Curious if anyone knows which reference of the Submariner Tosin is rocking here. Ivan is clearly sporting one of the newer ceramic models…
All this is wonderful. But if you do a hole video to present a guitar, why don't you put some light on it (it's pitch black and in the shadow!) and play it a little bit?
Tosin, I want to play guitar with you. I will play my Ibanez 7 but if you want I will play my pink 6 string Ibanez 540r that I played back in 1990 at a Chicago 3 day festival with a Roland R8 as an opening act for one of the headliners playing dance metal using a classical guitar format with the R8. Tosin, I think you are one of the greatest abstract detached players on the planet, you get detached! there is not any that do that. I would love to hang out and just maybe you get to take away a couple of things that come from my fingers (not a slouch in ay stretch of the imagination whatever). I would like to play with you for a bit so you could take the intangibles from my old brain with you... old guy Jason, I did see you at Generation AXE With Steve in Cincinnati but I came to see you. Oh and btw I'll drag my Helix with me. I am sorry that I made comments to Tosin on this guitar build video. I do want you to fell welcome to get together and play and hang out on my yacht for the WEBN Fireworks... just hang out with all the boaters at the fireworks that tie up on my row , it is a great time!
Well, an interesting guitar for sure ...you may also just rest on the fact that it simply looks different, rather than slit your veins in attempts to find only pragmatic reasons 😊 neh!? Could it be lighter than a single cut..? Shame it's not multiscale...and shame it is so cheap that it does not inspire you does it ? Or should we start thinking of loans and small mortgages to own 2 or 3 guitars neh! It is rather bonkers and unrealistic but...seems that the Orwellian farm syndrome is spreading fast all over the globe and all over the brands. Good luck to you anyway! The music is fantastic and accessible.
That last part looked like it pained tosin to say 😂

Floating trem with no lock nuts & fine tuners? 🤤 we need more of this! 👌
How does that even work? Does the float change when you drop tune or change the strings? I can't stand floyd rose haha

I've been playing assymetric necks for years now, glad more companies are catching up to this trend!
so unique. love how everything you do is original as much as possible.

Damn those guitars are extremely beautiful
The double cutaway adds so much...that thing is so sick...
Would love to see an Emi with a fanned frets at a less extreme angle
Also crimson metallic PLEASE
The Ēmi quickly became my #1. Brilliant guitar guys
We need more !!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on the new release🤘
Very nice! The ēmi will look sick in a 6 string as well.
beautiful creation guys 🤌🏻
It's beautiful. The addition of a type of selective string Sustainiac for extended range guitars would be a perfect choice I am thinking.
Selective string sustaniac? Is that a thing?!
@@RohannvanRensburg Not yet but it needs to be.
Kinda more up my alley with that guitar, thought the first one was sick, but not really for me. This for sure is gonna blow ppl away.

da heel joint . sick flame in the neck
i'd buy a gazillion of these if there were bass models
Need maple neck emi with white pickups... Gilmour style :P I definitely prefer double-cut, even if there is some impact on the tone potentially.
Please release it soon so Bude will sell me his Strandberg
Already sold out on the website :'D

Is the emi 6 vapor ware? I’ve been asking about it since I played it at the last NAMM… and nothing but silence when I ask about it.
How am i supposed to get my hands on this if they are always sold out
Abasi guitars are what the iphone are to mobile . he sells us expensive minimal features guitar but it is still a guitar ,
The output jack can be seen at 4:28, they did a good job of trying to hide it in this video.

Hate that Tosin is such a huge name because they charge so fking much for these guitars. They're nice, but not worth almost 4 grand.
are they tho? this is the first version that doesn't give me eye cancer when looking at it
