So this only applies at the fund level & we as individual investors will not be taxed this 30% individually when we sell, correct?

I have similar Endowus CPF OA / SRS portfolio fully in Amundi Prime USA Fund. Started irregular DCA from 11 Oct 2022 and to date, returns of 29%.

Think most sg folks just empty oa into house leh + mortgage repayment . Decent house more impt
This is a wrong mindset 😂 I sort of regretted not investing earlier and only started investing my CPF OA 2 years ago. If I ever have a child, I will ask him/her to immediately invest before he/she applies for BTO in future. Think of it, applying for BTO and collecting keys have a long waiting period and the entire process can take up at least 5 years. Adding into your first few years of working and living as a single person, this entire period would be perfect to invest your CPF OA when it hits above $20k. You can always liquidate your investments before key collection.
@@Ziiqing u need to understand the market risk of loss decade may happen should you all in OA for CPF investment with a mind to cashout to buy BTO. Not saying not to do but you have to calculate the risk vs reward. anyhow HDB will go moon in future becos this is how our govt control the pricing of it. ASSETS enhancement, keke
Can also use SRS to invest~~ good return and its a long term (25+ years)
