So, from what I understand: Atticus was trying to save the island from the volcano and cast a spell to transport the island to safety, albeit a dangerous spell that may endanger everyone just as much. The one that was hit on the head is unaffected by the spell to a limited degree and thus can see the fact that this spell is dangerous and is freaking out whilst everyone else has totally accepted it and is unaware.

I think uprooted means that the island was uprooted, it seems it was teleported somewhere else for safety, as done by the spell that was casted.

Okay… Imma say it right now. Blackie, I find most of your new content in school and have to keep myself from literally screaming. There are 26 letters in the English lexicon, those letters can make up to 171,476 existing words at LEAST. And not a single combination of those words or those letters can describe the feeling I get when I watch your content. I don’t know what it is. If it’s the art style or the quality of the animations or the fact that you turn every character of EVERYTHING into animals. But I get unbelievably happy when I watch these videos. I look like an idiot in my classes if we have free time, I go on to RUclips and watch these and have to stop myself from screaming at the top of my lungs. I’ve never seen animations like yours. They are so unique and cute. The way you animate is like a cute cartoon. I love it
ok ima try to make sense of this because this story is cool
so it looks atticus can do magic, and casted some magic in an attempt to save the island from the volcano. however, either the magic went wrong or maybe it was intended, but the island got transported to some staticy void. it seems a side effect of the magic is that everyone is under some kind of spell that makes them think everything is fine. however, since allia was unconscious, the spell didn't work on her and she's the only one who can actually see the void they're in. (not sure why the spell only half works on anik though?) it looks like another side effect of the magic was that it killed atticus, or at least made him into some staticy black creature which i'm assuming the spell blocks out too.

I came up with my own theory Allright so
Atticus was trying to save the island from a volcano, and used a risky spell that would make it so everyone would see everything as normal so long as they were awake, but it went wrong because one singular kid was knocked unconscious, which caused Atticus to have backlash from the spell and the kid feeling like everyone was crazy because they were floating on a island in a world of static

I decided to revisit this after reading the chapter you did for Uprooted on Toyhouse and gosh... Watching it now knowing the context that Atticus is Allia's dad and he's (I'm guessing) trying to protect his community from the volcano makes this so much sadder
