I'd like to add, taxonomies like the one I gave in the video are not generalizations meant to include everyone, but categories that I think a large percentage of people fall into. We should, in theory, all be striving to be in a 4th group where we learn to truly lament for an entire situation even before all the "facts" are revealed.
hru much love to u. empathy for all or any parties is often forgotten or ignored, although can ppl have empathy while not wanting to express any opinion one way or another( i guess another form of wait and see)? and is expressing empathy on public platforms always helpful(can any of us fully empathize w/o having further details than a video and headline)? could empathy expressed be inauthentic and only to prove how good or marketable one is? i wonder how much time goes into proving 'see, I'm the better white person I don't do or say_, I know these terms, I'm not from those places.' of course i think ppl should try to learn about these and other situations, however, I'm not sure everyone has time to scour resources that could take several days straight to read and more to more fully understand

Chase, this is a good word. Your post, sadly, is necessary, and I'm grateful for you addressing empathy.
Thank you Jayme!! Appreciate you!
Very helpful! A much needed call to empathy.
Thanks brother!
I appreciate your voice on this Chase!
