Nice guys, the flow and the banter is still there 😃 @raymond, having worked for an OEM and been involved in several projects and seen how they put cars together, I can say with certainty that the manufacturer is 100% planning for electrical gremlins to occur in final testing and that dash to having to come out. And that's on brand new harnesses, not something spliced into a 40 year old spaghetti monster harnesses
Even on the high end Porsches, where everything is carbon fibre and 90% of everything is glued they still make sure that there is maintenance access to things like writing harnesses by routing them through specific harness tunnels.
