    Amazing to see the faces behind my favorite memories. I remember ALL those Alan skits(RIP). I was a kid and used to stay up late to watch, I’d put my tiny tv on mute then put my headphones into my radio, back then you could tune into NBC, CBS etc and listen and watch. I kept getting busted by my parents cause it was silent in the house and I would just uncontrollably start laughing out loud at this show! Best RUclips channel ever! 😂Thank you!

    Total Request Live was appointment viewing in my freshman year of high school. I was fooled by Fresh Step. I believe the guy with the sideburns was in the late 90s revival of Footloose on Broadway, which we saw on a class trip. I remember telling my classmates, "Hey, that guy from Footloose is in a boy band that was on TRL yesterday!" I thought maybe we had seen someone before they hit it really big in pop music. I'm thrilled that this and Rodney Rothman's video confirmed what the real deal was with Fresh Step.

      @JayDeeIsMyName Год назад +3

      @@craigthomas4604 I must admit, my comment tends to be a bit sour. Especially as I genuinely enjoyed this video, as well as the content you guys apparently did for Dave's shows (I mean it, I did not know before). I also thoroughly enjoyed and to this day still enjoy the first couple of seasons of HIMYM, and I highly applaud both you and mister Bays for that (If you're out here just to read some compliments to soothe the ego, I'd strongly recommend you not to read my comment beyond this point).
      ...However. That does not make up for the fact that you both decided to make the story that HIMYM told suffer, for a longer run in the end. Seven seasons, tops, that's what was said in multiple interviews in the past. Then, the filler-seasons happened. And then, when Jason wasn't available for the entire first half of the final season, I was genuinely baffled by the way how it was resolved. And as you must know by now (and maybe sick of it), I wasn't the only one.
      Thanks for taking the time out of your day to respond to my snotty and sour comment. I'm not sure if you did so to intimidate me in a way (I don't feel intimidated, rather amused that you actually responded directly), or to treat my uncalled bullying with kindness. But yeah, I appreciate it.
      Last of all: I am very nice! I just tend not to show that much of it in the comments that I write. 😅

      @craigthomas4604 Год назад +4

      @@JayDeeIsMyName Oh, I stopped reading comments sections years ago because well, because of people like you, but i was charmed to remember all these great times we had at Late Show (esp. those with some folks who are sadly no longer with us), so I looked...and then I remembered here due to your, as you said, sour and snotty comments, that it's a mistake...in a way I am grateful to you for reminding me never to look at all! (Kinda weird to get a lecture about a whole other project in the comments section of something about Late Show, but alas here we are...). You say you are very nice, so here's my challenge to you: Go say something nice to a total stranger you've never met, to even this interaction out.
