Mam in clg they said something lengthy formula for fc that
(FC = valence e - no of e in lone pair - 1/2 no of e in bond pair )
Same formula it is.
Here she is directly dividing in half, as she told to draw a line.
In ncert they have separately mentioned that as 1/2 of bonding electrons.
She just explained the same thing, but diagramatically, so that formula technically becomes shorter.
But yeah it's still the same
