Totally caught me off guard as well. I've loved this song for a while but never watched the video until today, which begins with her speaking and was really surprised.
Bob Dylan was a hell of a songwriter back in his day but I never thought he was all that great shakes as a guitarist or singer. His songs are usually better when they're covered by a better singer/musician. See also Jimi Hendrix' version of All Along The Watch Tower, Johnny Cash's version of It Ain't Me Babe, Guns n' Roses version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door, either Johnny Winters' or P.J. Harvey's versions of Highway 61 Revisted, etc, etc, etc. Lots of great covers of his songs that I normally don't really enjoy the originals of just cause I don't like Dylan's sound.
@@chriswhinery925YES THIS! Not to trash good old Bobby D at all - i'm very thankful for his poetic genius, his character, his exceptional contribution to what music is today. Just, a lot of his songs, when performed by others, simply hit different. And so dear Neko's recording here reaches some intangible places in my soul that I think might be inaccessible to Dylan's vocals. And still, I love how she keeps so much of the original character of the song too.
Love the guitar player. The song is meaning full for me. Love the way you sing Neko!!!

Perfect!
What is it about physiology that such a singing voice can come from that speaking voice?

Now I am Pizzed
Adorable versión de Neko, mucho mejor que los alaridos de Dylan. La guitarra, sensacional

Dylan wrote it!
@@debbierogers5176Well sure, that's a given... Dylan wrote it, but Neko sure sings the shit out of it like he never could!
What a beautiful voice!
