I was grossed out a bit by Homelander drinking the breast milk, but then I remembered all those years I drank milk from cow boobs and it became less gross. Still weird, but not as gross.
The thing with Homelander and Blindspot... I don't think it was intended as a test.I think there are three aspects at work here: 1) he thinks Blindspot is weak BECAUSE of his disability. 2) he doesn't want what he perceives as weak people in the seven and 3) he comes into this season with the idea, that now the Seven are his and he can choose the new members... While this being a blind guy gave him the opportunity to be extra nasty, I don't know if he wouldn't have reacted similarly to anybody here. He's clearly also not impressed by Stormfront in the Seven and there's no reason to assume she's weak, yet.
i think is a 2 part POV from Homelander's part..1 he hated Blindspot cause he had and handicap(and he is an apathetic asshole)--so there..and 2 he also consider him inferior by the 7's standarts cause all of them are superstrong and nearly invulnerable by the amount of damage they can take--wich Blindspot as we saw clearly could not--fast and agile yeah..but unlike Daredevil who's blindness is supposed to be secret..this guys name and mask are instant tells of his weak or Blindspot--lol--in actual battle any superstrong guy would probably do the same to him..dough to be fair..in this particular moment he defenses were down since he was not expecting to be attacked by Homelander...but also he does not seem like he was capable of phisicaly take a blast like Black Noir did or survive being a collision with an armored money car like Mave can.
Something you guys should keep in mind is that Homelander is the indisputable strongest hero in the universe shown thus far. If you lined up every other single super hero and super villain Avengers style, Homelander would wipe them all out easily. There is no “how come they don’t fight back” because that would be suicide. The only possible supe that could remotely hold a candle to Homelander is his son.
I don't think there's evidence to support that. Homelander is clearly the strongest and would kill any individual who fights him, but we've never seen him up against someone with similar powers and durability (like Starlight), and he does have limitations on what he's able to do. I would think that a group of powerful supes would have a chance to take him, and if they had a lot of them (10+ at once) then he's probably going down.
10:44 he'd make a lot of money pretending to be cake... everything is cake. I'm happy Bri and Nikki are returning! And that Suraj has joined. Lol, I kinda felt bad for Blindspot, he was happy to join like Starlight in the beginning. 22:22 Homelander is indeed made to give off those vibes as a brand and symbol to the public - a patriotic "true Murican hero" (cringe). 23:30 Pat, Homelander stan, agrees 😂 As always with this show, the Normies' discussions (thoughts, opinions, theories, real-life parallels/ social commentary, etc) are gonna be just as good as the reactions.
Odd how some of them really want to like Homelander and want the show to make us not dislike him as a person as much. I mean don't get me wrong I fucking love Homelander. But I don't like him because I think he's not at insane or evil as the show has shown so far. And the last thing I want is for him to be redeemed or start doing good things. I love Homelander for how insane he is and for Anthony Starr's amazing performance. Also he's easily the weakest character in the series. Not in terms of Power because he's so far the strongest that we have seen. But I mean mentally he's far more mentally weak then anyone else in the series even Anthony Starr described him as being the weakest character mentally. As he needs everything to go his way can't take no for an answer and has a god complex.
Homeland didn't try to save the passenger jet (after his lazy use of laser vision destroyed the controls) simply because it wouldn't have been a "perfect" rescue. He couldn't pull off the Superman trick of keeping the plane from falling apart and lifting it without pushing through it by using tactile telekinesis (Google "Superman's abilities." A partial rescue wouldn't work for Homelander"s image, so once he saw it was going to be messy, he immediately shifted to (his) Plan B: Blame the politicians (and politicians in uniform) for not contacting him soon enough that he could've saved the plane. As far as someone finding scorch marks in the cockpit, I think Homelander learned his lesson with the Mayor's plane. He probably found the wreckage and destroyed the cockpit and the black boxes. However, I think he may get hemmed up by the passenger's smart phones. After he and Maeve took out the cabin terrorists, there's no way at least a handful of people didn't pull out their phones and start recording these great heroes who saved them. And they wouldn't have stopped recording when Homelander threatened to laser all of them. Also, there would've been the people who recorded a goodbye to loved ones...and damned Homelander and Maeve for leaving them to die. We'll see. Chris, Homelander isn't a superhero. He just plays one in front of the cameras and witnesses.
I don't know about Homelander's attack being a test. Virtually no one would have expected to be attacked there, anyone else in the Seven would have gotten hurt and gone down too (except MAYBE Black Noir). If he did evade the attack Homelander would be really surprised and might reconsider, but it was never planned to be a test. He was just being a psycho.
THANK YOU. Homelander didn't even try to help those people on the plane. Even if he physically couldn't do it at least make the attempt. He was just cruel letting them die
daredevils powers aren't just super hearing, he has an Echolocative and ability every one of his senses are enhanced......on top of that he's an expert martial artist
Cant we just "like" Homelander, BUT ALSO admit that he's a tragic, and flawed character with disgusting personality traits? If you look at everything Homelander does in Season 1, and you don't think he's fucked up and twisted, than that's probably because YOU are fucked up, and twisted.

I liked the Hunger games joke they must have written in, because Hughie was district 1's Marvel in the first film and he all acting like he doesn't know the franchise.
I don't think Blindspot's dead. He's still moving (and screaming) long after Homelander's ear clap. However, due to the amount of blood coming out of his ears, he's most likely permanently deaf (as well as blind. He's out of the hero business. The woman Black Noir killed wasn't an innocent. She was hanging with terrorists. His kills were quick (except for the guy whose jaw he pulled apart. And he was nice to the kid he ran into. Homelander would have lasered him to death. Black Noir was just doing his job. Homelander pulled the bottle of breast milk out of the top of the mini-fridge (which would have been the freezer.) He melted and wamed the milk. It wasn't curdled. Homelander could be replaced, but even though the woman Stillwell fired now has her position over The 7, she doesn't have Stillwell's brass balls. Homelander's is using his position of power over her position of authority. And Mr. Edgar definitely put Storm front in The 7 to take him down a peg.)
This series is so heart warming and also true, this is literally what America's government is doing they are giving weapons to terrorists and even make terrorists and then they go dismantle them because that's a good excuse to stay in someone's country, the fact that people of America finally see this is heartwarming, they made homelander's costume flag of America for a reason so you could hate him and this behavior

I have a prediction that Pat will immediately have no issue hating Stormfronts character when certain evens come up in the next few episodes -unlike his relentless defense of Homelander.
Stormfront has the same powers as Shazam...
Kinda considered her power more or less like Thors or captain Marvel
Isaias Cardoso yeah you could say Thor too to be honest. I just always thought Shazam because she never used a hammer, but you could say Thor too.
@@isaiascardoso2855 Thor has molecular manipulation, teleportation, and all other types of crazy shyt though
the katniss thing was more funny cause I just realized hughie got sniped or something by katniss in hunger games
Damn Homelander took out Blindspot as fast as Netflix killed the Marvel Shows
Rewatching some of these earlier reactions made me realize how much I DONT miss Nahid
we going to start liking homelander more? well, we off to a bad start with that one chief.
Why is everyone jumping through freaking hoops to defend rapey Homelander?
Ikr. In the first episode he killed a kid. Maybe they just like him as a villain.
Thank you! I don’t get how a split second scene of Becca in the finale is enough to determine that it was a consensual encounter.
You don't think women wouldn't sleep with Homelander.
Kingdrago101 So basically she’s a cheating wife who wanted Homelanders D and blamed him later for getting her pregnant when she said “After what you did to me”. Yikes. The show really diverted from the comics where she was actually raped then.
In episode 4 she tells Butcher she was raped.
The Billy Joel song is called Pressure. There's a ton of Billy Joel songs in this season because Hughie loves Billy Joel. And he had the famous line, "Don't you ever besmirch Billy Joel." Which he said to Robin right before she got obliterated.
“He is like... a little soldier boy”
Wait till season 3 buddy
JENSEN freakin' ACKLES has joined the chat.😁
SRIX when I saw that article. I about shot threw the roof like homelander himself
oh no. all the yelling and screaming. how will i ever make it through this reaction? 😒
oh yea. no need for the micro aggression since she isn't here. chile bye.
Blind spot was actually daredevils sidekick in the comics, how they got away with his character boggles my mind.
Please include Rana in the reactions.. love to see her react
I'm so happy Suraj is joining in 😁
"Black Noir is Homelander's right hand man"
It's like he's his brother, or something closer...maybe
@@schuettjoel I don't think they're related, cause Black Noir must be... black, right?
@@shapeshifter7676 Im betting he looks like Deadpool and thats why he needs a full suit.
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse Sure he does
Like Batman to Supes? Lol
I would have loved for Brie to be on this reaction.
I'm pretty sure (like 100% dead certain) she would have been all aboard the Stormfront train cheerleading bandwagon.
I only say this because I am equally sure I'm going to LOVE her turnaround in episode 3 once that reveal happens.
If Antony Starr doesn't win a Emmy or a fucking cheese burger of acting or something, Imma be pissed.
I'm pretty sure she speaks, she had a normal life and everything.... So is Chris trying to say that if you're mute you are not normal and can't have a normal life??? Seems pretty messed up if you ask me.
0:27 Yeah i wasn’t really ecstatic to hear Bree and Nikki will be back.
I like this crew, minus Pat though. None of the annoying ass/uninterested members
Nvm, pat seems really into this season. Not on his phone like last season👍🏽
@@shanestafford6605 I think they had their phones out so they could talk to each other, they were watching from different locations because of covid
Blind spots guard was let down he didn’t see that attack coming it was a interview not a mission
I think Homelander didn’t want a supe with super hearing around. Who knows what he might hear around the Seven.
sleepyseeker Honestly just want a disabled person
Even if he did, wouldn't it had just smashed through his hands too?
he didn't "see" it coming
@Yaboisheepdasneak If he was like other metas with enhanced senses he should have picked up tells from Homelander before he attacked.
Oh nooo Chris Hansen
Why don’t you take a seat
Again, nothing wrong with liking a villain. Likability and morality are not glued together, you can appreciate the quality of a character and disagree with their actions. I'm a fan of the joker, azula, homelander etc etc,...I fully understand that their actions are bad in terms of societal thinking...doesn't make them unlikable tho
I was grossed out a bit by Homelander drinking the breast milk, but then I remembered all those years I drank milk from cow boobs and it became less gross. Still weird, but not as gross.
I will say
Ok I'm officially voting we keep suraj this season, dont mind if you needa drop a another reactor, WE NEED HIM IN THESE REACTIONS!
Suraj is always fun to see in these videos... but I miss Nikki
Chris "pure aryan nation shit" you keep that in mind my friend, its gonna be a wild ride from ep 3
What about Black Noir?
sleepyseeker 🤫🤫
Couldn’t relate to your second sentence
Giancarlo is great in everything. So excited for this season man... episode 3 is insane!
Not only this was a very entertaining reaction but you are back to the couch...long live the couch!
Their always welcome on their couch
Ever since Nahid claimed Homelander didn't rape Rebecca, he's been simping for him so hard along with the other guy next to him. It's only been two episodes but it's just a funny observation lol
Im happy to see Suraj on this reaction.
Lmap why do yall wanna redeem psychopaths so bad? Like how much worse do they have to show him to be so his villainy can stick for you?
Im surprised any of them liked Stormfront at first, i hated her immediately i thought she was annoying af
It’s funny/ironic Chris called Homelander a “little soldier boy”
Please start watching Dark. It will be one of your favorite shows of all time and is the perfect show to have a reaction series because there are so many twists
Definitely
I believe Chris and Marketa have already seen it. It was briefly mentioned on one of the gaming streams. Not sure about everyone else.
@@nickwittednonpareil Weird. You'd think they would hold off on watching new shows that they could potentially add to the channel
Suraj... Daredevil's blindness is a huge secret that even most other heroes don't know about.
Watch and see stormfront be worse than homelander. Also I just remembered but do they know that the name stormfront is also the same name for a neo-nazis website. Now that's not a character u want to be rooting for.
This has so much better audio than when you're not all together. Hope this pandemic will be over soon.
I liked the Hunger games joke they must have written in, because Hughie was district 1's Marvel in the first film and he all acting like he doesn't know the franchise.
Daredevil would die 1v1 though, nobody can outmanoeuvre a set of laser eyes.
Yo when Bri comes back she is gonna lose her mind this season and I’m sure y’all know why
Lmao you right
Why?

Dang, they pulled an extremis on my girl. I wonder if they could see through her eyes a la Agents of Shield?
Did you notice in the news report it came up with the summary of what they were saying before they said it "it comes in waves" and "were a family"

My granddad was imprisoned there (and in other concentration camps, he was a political prisoner who opposed Hitler...). He survived and filled my childhood with his stories.
And I think you are not wrong to say what you did. Of course, this here is fictional, but it's good and in-your-face.
It shows how any of us (Germans and everyone else) must be aware, and shout out, and prevent anything like that happening ever again. The world in 2020 is a scary place. Not only because of Covid.
