I think it’s not “Grand Piano 1” or “Acoustic Piano 1” but rather the G. stands for “German Piano” and the A. stands for “Austrian Piano” from what I can recall

Absolutely right. The German Piano is a Steinway concert grand, the Austrian Piano is a Bosendorfer Imperial, and the Japanese piano is a Yamaha grand. All are great samples, except for a few issues, e.g. on the Japanese one (transition between layers on the sample around C2 is incoherent) or the noticeably different (hollow) timbre of the sample used around Eflat-2 on the German one, but those are relatively minor... especially since these samples were taken from those used in Korg's top of the line Kronos.

it's a really good piano and i'm thinking of buying it. but I heard some people have problems with their speakers? is this a common problem or not?

11 month later: Yes Korg have hisssss sound when didn't play it and have too high noises that makes it sound like flat speakers or sound algorithm.

all speakers and amps add hiss when you increase the volume of amplification. digital pianos with powerful amps will not be completely silent when they are on and the volume is up. that just comes with the territory.

@@joanyoung8490 Well Kawai with Onkyo amplifiers didn't have hisss sound whatsoever even in very loud sound.
