The rational way of riding a train like this is either to travel for max 2 hours or to have a seat for a longer journey. On the train for 15 hours without a seat is just a physical and mental endurance test that only a daring few are willing to take. But the train looks reasonably clean, comfortable and more importantly not crowded.
This is just the old (usually sleeper and go for 20+h)trains from the 90s, or even earlier! They are far cheaper, but also older, worse and less comfortable than the high-speed bullet trains that can go up to 400km/h, which completes the same journey in under 5 hours!
It is actually rather inconsiderate when using speaker in public space. I hope the Chinese will improve and learn to behave more considerate of the others and surroundings.
