I live in Namibia and regards the country as one of the most beautiful on earth. The way that you capture the " moment" and are able to convey the serene pristine beauty of nature is extraordinary. This was not something I expected. Namibia is much more beautiful than I thought. And I must add that it's so nice to see how friendly and inviting the locals are. It seems to be the same wherever you go. And the last footage on the sunset it's just aaaww! So beautiful!

You're great Noraly, I'd say the cattle salt lick had some minerals and urea in it to help the young cattle digest the dry feed. The nitrogen of the urea helps to make protein from the dry grass feed. Bit of a Farmer myself. 😊
When I was a kid we. used to take my grandpa 's cows and goats to some natural salt licks in the Kenyan Rift Valley and watch them tear up the ground and slurp away.😂

Be sure to go back and see the early days when she rode Basanti through Asia and Europe. This lovely lady (her soul even more than her looks - which are stunning) is a great ambassador for humanity. If extra-terrestrials ever captured one of us to study, Noraly would be the best example of us. I'd bet she'd come back with beautiful drone footage, too!

Hi Noraly. Thoroughly enjoyed all your vids from the first to now. Excellent drone footage at the end there. When you can get back into Australia, you need to go see an outback cattle station. They are so large that even the drone won't show the boundaries from the centre of the property. We also don't herd from the ground. Cheers
Grew up in Namibia in the 80's and now live in Canada. Namibia is a spectacular place of indescribable, sometimes completely isolating beauty. I miss it dearly.
I remember weening calves.. they will moo all night.. and day for about 3 days. There is always one old cow out of sync. Calving late or early. In a blizzard or in dead of summer heat. He needs a couple of good heeler dogs. Round them up in a hurry.
Noraly the Dutch cowgirl. Willing to put herself into any crazy situation anywhere on planet earth. This entire African journey has been so interesting and enjoyable.
I worked on a 1k acre cattle ranch when I was 15 and again on a 4800 acre ranch in Montana while traveling on my motorcycle. Cows aren't stupid at all, have spent most of a day trying to herd cows into a very large pen.
I love how the little white pup immediately identifies Noraly as a soulmate and hops up on her lap. 😊

Be sure to go back and see the early days when she rode Basanti through Asia and Europe. This lovely lady (her soul even more than her looks - which are stunning) is a great ambassador for humanity. If extra-terrestrials ever captured one of us to study, Noraly would be the best example of us. I'd bet she'd come back with beautiful drone footage, too!

Hi Noraly. Thoroughly enjoyed all your vids from the first to now. Excellent drone footage at the end there. When you can get back into Australia, you need to go see an outback cattle station. They are so large that even the drone won't show the boundaries from the centre of the property. We also don't herd from the ground.

Grew up in Namibia in the 80's and now live in Canada. Namibia is a spectacular place of indescribable, sometimes completely isolating beauty. I miss it dearly.
Its lovely how the Namibians speak Afrikaans...As a South African, Im looking forward to visiting and meeting the friendly people of Namibia...

I remember weening calves.. they will moo all night.. and day for about 3 days. There is always one old cow out of sync. Calving late or early. In a blizzard or in dead of summer heat. He needs a couple of good heeler dogs. Round them up in a hurry.

I worked on a 1k acre cattle ranch when I was 15 and again on a 4800 acre ranch in Montana while traveling on my motorcycle. Cows aren't stupid at all, have spent most of a day trying to herd cows into a very large pen.
