They heard you I believe. This T20 world cup there is an option to watch from behind the stumps. I believe that requires a special subscription. It would be fascinating to see how quick international pacers that hit 150+ really are.
You have the stump cam view which is occasionally shown. There are also some helmet cams used in The 20 over matches at IPL and the Aussie version of it.
Have you seen the Lords game? Adam Gilchrist has a GoPro, and he faces Shaun Tait! Smashes a short ball for a boundary. Play it at 0.25x speed or you won't see the ball!
Great innings, and a Not Out. The running between wickets is important, puts pressure back on the bowler. You can get 5 or 6 an over with no boundaries. Good win, hope Will has no concussion.
Great Innings Gareth. Often innings like this where the opposition goes on the defensive quickly and you need to grind and run hard are even more satisfying than swashbuckling innings full of boundaries. Well Done!
Used to live for days like this, a game of cricket on a beautiful ground like that, on a day like that... that was living. You'd spend your whole week looking forward to it, then the next week mentally replaying your own personal highlight reel (if you had one, that is... and hadn't gotten a duck or gotten spanked around the park...)
This channel has been an awesome way for me to get further into cricket. I started watching highlight videos about a month ago but those don't really show the regular aspects of cricket as much as this. You get to see the standard flow of the game. Great stuff!
Perfect running between the wickets. It really helps when your partner can run with the same energy . Loved the way you picked up the pace towards the end of your innings , overall great performance ! I have seen it to be more exciting when the camera is worn by the keeper for the 2nd innings . Certainly gives us a closer and exciting view. Just a suggestion :)
What an advert for cricket! This is quite clearly a competitive game/league but played for enjoyment. Wish a few more clubs took this approach! Keep up the great work Gaz.
Although Gareth is much better than last season, he still has a habit of running towards the non striker, rather than the bowler. Calling is much better and he appears to have stopped turning blind for the second. So he is getting better at it!
Yep, great innings. Well played Gareth. I love these videos, I tell all my cricket loving friends down here in Perth WA. "Keep Going" Props to young Will.
Remember playing cricket as a lad on the local village green… you got 12 runs if you got the ball to land on top of the number 67 bus to town. Every 20 mins you would have an opportunity. And that road was some distance off the green. Such good fun although the bus drivers often did not see it the same way.
Very nice! While watching I was reminded why I fell in love with this game. Thank you. International cricket now-a-days hasn't remained this fun, sigh.
Good batting innings Gareth. Soaked up the pressure and played great looking shots by putting pressure on the bowler. Glad you performed well when your team needed you the most. Impressive win and can't wait to see you in action again Gareth! Keep up the good content!
Well played!! Running between the wickets, the partnerships and great hitting at the end. Enjoyed it! Also, the ground is so beautiful, its must be great to play there. very pleasing to the eyes :)
Hey Gareth, Superb video and a great all round performance by your team. I really look forward to your vids each week they're getting better and better. Keep doing what your doing it works really well and its simply some of the best cricket content out there. Super jealous of the summer you guys are having, its winter here in NZ and miserably cold. Congrats to Will as well.
Wow Gareth, that's what I call an innings. Very well played, rotated the strike so well. I'm glad you got some runs for yourself because you deserved it - top stuff !
It is such a bittersweet feeling this. While I'm very glad to watch this, I feel like nothing of my past could be recorded like this. What if there were go pros in the times I was playing? I would have recorded all my innings, all my goals, all those rides, all those drives, all those mountain climbs, all those memories...which fade away.
A lovely confident, and very relaxed knock Gareth, really good to see. Always good to see you and Will bat together, hope he's ok after the bang to the head. Upwards and onwards, looking forward to the next one.
I'm an American who became a fan of watching cricket, then a few years later got to spend a summer in Somerset, UK and joined the local village cricket club and learned to play some. I became an ok bowler (took about 1 wicket per match I played) but didn't get to develop much with the bat (only scored a single run in about 5 or 6 innings total!) Watching this makes me miss it so much, and it's so hard to find proper cricket to play here in the USA. Thanks!
Top knock Gareth, well batted 👏🏼 You’re awareness and running between the wickets is quality. Picking up 4/5 runs an over without hitting a boundary. Pleasure to watch.
Well done Gareth good batting 1’s and 2’s are always good to rotate the strike and keep the run rate going. It’s not always about boundaries. You did an amazing six great hit! Well done ti Will too! Keep it going 🏏👍
Hi Gareth, Great effort crafting that innings, definitely think that was a great innings from a turning over the strike perspective given you werent quite timing it. Keep it up.
Definetely one of your best innings Gareth especially as you didnt give a chance whilst batting. Lots of ones and twos as Skegness fielded well, and the boundars looked long. Surprised on that form that Skeggy are bottom of the table. Your back in the runs again, although that 99 a few weeks back wasnt bad either. Pleasure to watch as usual...thanks
Super level of composure today !! It just seemed like you were on another level today. And I noticed you weren’t telling yourself to focus you were just doing it, maybe that’s the key … less pressure on yourself and just look to play . All in all a solid innings mate !
Well done mate, very planned innings. you took singles and doubles so efficiently, and I liked the fact that you played with a very straight bat, only took chances while you found enough time to make a cross bat shot. Its been fairly 4-5 years, I haven't played cricket due to my temporary residency in US. pitches are horrible here, and worst feeling is playing in a mat which is not flat either. I miss playing cricket in a beautiful ground like this. such a delight to see the match through your lense.
Beautifully constructed innings. Looks like you're getting a lot more value from balls that stray too straight or down leg compared to the last time I watched. Good stuff.
Hey Gareth, love the vids - just one thing from me .. when you are not batting and filming your team bat .. any chance you could use a different camera ? Just so the quality is better .. it’s brilliant for when you bat with the GoPro but not so good when watching the team bat
I hated this game so much as it is all show business here in India. Your perspective on cricket with POV and unknown player base having a good ol game kept me glued till the end. You have inspired me to go out and give this a shot. I used to be an all rounder. Maybe its time for me to put on my gloves :-)

They should start showing this POV in international matches, that would be amazing!

Yes I've seen it. Incredible!
The weather, the ground, the pitch and CRICKET!! Such a wondeful video.
Thanks Manan. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
That was a pleasure to watch, the running between the wickets was fantastic to watch. Especially the partnership at the end of your innings 💪
Thanks! 🔥
@Valroxen
Running between wickets not so great at the very start of the video. Hence the run out. It looked an incredible piece of fielding.
this is a great experience even for the viewers. miss cricket back in school
Great innings, and a Not Out.
The running between wickets is important, puts pressure back on the bowler. You can get 5 or 6 an over with no boundaries.
Good win, hope Will has no concussion.
🔥🔥🔥
This is a great lesson of how to rotate the strike. That’s just as important as boundaries.
🔥🔥🔥
Great Innings Gareth. Often innings like this where the opposition goes on the defensive quickly and you need to grind and run hard are even more satisfying than swashbuckling innings full of boundaries. Well Done!
Absolutely 👌
Hi Gareth, could you start to link the play-cricket scorecard for each game you post ?
I agree too .

what an incredible experience! I haven't played cricket in a while and this video's just fuelled and fulfilled my desire at the same time
👏👏👏
Clear sky...
Little windy....
Afternoon time..
Perfect cricket
👌👌👌
their spinner played really well, great consistency and forcing you to take risks for runs. love it
🔥🔥🔥
The acceleration and the top finishing in the end 🔥
🔥🔥🔥
What an advert for cricket! This is quite clearly a competitive game/league but played for enjoyment. Wish a few more clubs took this approach! Keep up the great work Gaz.
Thanks Charlie. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thank you Gareth. I've been using your "Can you" when running in between the wickets and it's helped massively
👌👌👌
Although Gareth is much better than last season, he still has a habit of running towards the non striker, rather than the bowler. Calling is much better and he appears to have stopped turning blind for the second. So he is getting better at it!
You can also say 'your call' if you're facing the opposite way to the ball. More communication is better than less.
What an innings! Composed, full of singles and doubles, excellent running between the wickets, building partnerships and slogging at the end.
🔥🔥🔥
Great innings mate. You know you’ve scored runs with a 20 min vid!
😂😂 thanks Andrew!
Yep, great innings. Well played Gareth. I love these videos, I tell all my cricket loving friends down here in Perth WA. "Keep Going"
Props to young Will.
🔥🔥🔥
This was so cool to watch! Ended up watching the whole thing. I wanna see more!
Thanks Jeremy! Plenty content to come 🔥

man it feels so satisfying when you hear the cracking shot sound
🔥🔥🔥
Gareth, that’s a top innings. Went through the gears well, held the innings together and got the result for some grafting. Hats off.
Thanks Nick. Appreciate it 👍
What a good innings, just proper cricket all round. Will is also such a classic lefty, I really enjoy watching him bat as well.
👌👌👌
Well done Gareth, the lean patch is now but a memory.
That was your best innings Gareth in my opinion.Calmness and good calling between batsmen.
Great team effort and a very good win.
Thanks Rob 🔥
Man, this is so fun to watch!! Please try making more of these...
🔥🔥🔥
great to see this angle so i can work on my own batting. Thanks!

Haven’t played cricket since I was 11 (23 now) but these videos make me want to get back into it. Great footage
Do it!!! 🔥
The 6 in the last over was a class pick up 🥷
Thanks Neil 🔥

16:37 Resembles Rohit sharma's pull shot! nice control.

Gareth well Played Nice Running Between the Wickets good Call Really well played 👏👏
Thanks 🔥
Did anybody else notice the appeal at 18:15 for being bowled and the umpire shakes his head "no"?
Only noticed that now 👏
Just came here to say the same thing. Funny - I guess the umpire didn't notice the bails were off and didn't think it was LBW - turns out it was.
Good innings Gareth!!!!!! Second last shot was insane🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Yohan. Yes enjoyed that one!
Super level of composure today !! It just seemed like you were on another level today. And I noticed you weren’t telling yourself to focus you were just doing it, maybe that’s the key … less pressure on yourself and just look to play . All in all a solid innings mate !

Great video again! Great innings from your whole team. I'll have to keep this all in mind as we gear up for preseason here in Australia

Can You Cricket: Can You? Can You Will? Can You? Push! Can You? Shot Boi! Can You Will? 😂😂 love it!
"Can you Will?" Will is already half way back..........🤣
@@stubones haha yeah! Will is very quick.
Love this comment 🔥🔥🔥

What a gorgeous ground.
Well crafted innings, patient and elegant, well batted.

Love that your channel is called 'can you', pure Saffa tradition 🏏🔥
Classy knock Gareth, really enjoyed it
From Lee in Port Elizabeth
Thanks Lee 🔥
Beautifully constructed innings. Looks like you're getting a lot more value from balls that stray too straight or down leg compared to the last time I watched. Good stuff.
Thanks Aritro 🔥
Great footage of cricket... my fouvourite ever seen I think especially with the footage from the boundary as well.
Thanks Adrian 🔥
Really cool. Wish we had this in America
🔥🔥🔥
Well batted Gareth, good to see you playing well after having a bit of bad luck
Thanks Denny 👍
Great batting with will and the boys
First time watching. Cool to get the batting perspective. I think I'd worry about the camera taking a knock.Good innings!
Welcome on board Malcolm 🔥
Fingers crossed🤞🤞 you keep scoring good runs and take your team to the top
🔥🔥🔥
Game winning innings Gareth! Much love from Cape Town.
Thanks Matt 👌
Great knock, I enjoyed the rush of blood at ball 69 followed by the pull shot on ball 70.. Thanks for your vids.
Thanks David 🔥
Soo satisfying to watch this
Great to watch. Cheers and well batted. Love the ones and twos thats great cricket.
Thanks Gil 👌
Nice work Lad 🏏 good chat between wickets 👏
20:39 left arm off spin bowling 😂😂
Exhibition in good running this, quite the compliment sticking fielders on the boundary that early on in your innings. Good knock that lad
Thanks Nick 🔥
Hey Gareth, love the vids - just one thing from me .. when you are not batting and filming your team bat .. any chance you could use a different camera ? Just so the quality is better .. it’s brilliant for when you bat with the GoPro but not so good when watching the team bat

Do it Mithun 🔥 glad you enjoyed the video!
Wow. Thanks for posting, reminds me of u11 days. Man the bowlers are slowwwww. You should be at number 11 with that technique too, bud
I think you need to come teach me how to bat Dave 👌🔥
Hahaha I loved the umpire not giving the bowled bloke out. Very village.
👏👏👏
GOOD BATTING
Great video. I couldn't imagine running 42 of my first 50 runs though....
🤣 sucker for punishment!
Wonderful knock Gareth! Pleasure watching!
Thanks 🔥
Great batting, running and communication.
Thanks Ruan 👍
From this all I got is "yes"
Great grafting knock - stll reckon your ton on the prettiest ground in the Uk is your best dig! Keep them coming!
👌👌👌
"Skegness is the Blackpool of the east" is the greatest statement I've ever heard
😂😂👌👌
