  • Good morning. This weekend, I will be filming and selling at the JCRE BIG TRAIN SHOW at the ETSU Minidome in Johnson City TN. I did not want to blow up anyone's subscription by channeling unrelated content so it will be on my new QMP Rail Heritage Channel instead. Take a look if you are interested. It all about POWER! Steam trains. modern equipment. historical artifacts and much more as we get going, but this weekend is live show coverage including the incredible HO scale Sippin' & Switchin' layout seen here. BE THERE FOR ALL ABOARD! #modelrailroad

Awesome. My second hobby, (after turning wrenches), is model railroading!!!

I put this up quickly. The layout is over 12000 square ft this year!

Beautiful! I was a model railroader as a child...before I got my first car! My model trains have been in a box for the last 50 years. They don't even hold a candle to your subject today, though...

These guys came in from as far-away as Texas to set this thing up. I posted a short on the new channel but have been too busy getting ready for NHRA Bristol to do much more yet.

@@gszookeeper77 What you've already done is FAR beyond any model railroading experience I've ever had. Simply outstanding. We've got a cool model railroad out near Kapolei here on O'ahu. It's part of a full-size diesel railroad museum. Back when sugar cane was THE thing in Hawai'i, we had steam engines pulling our harvests to the sugar mills. When I came along...that railroad had been gone for about 15 years, sadly. Like steam engines, our beloved Hawai'i Raceway Park is but a fond memory. Aloha to all of you out there!
