Man of culture all the way... My brother in driving... Nothing beats manual when you drive for driving... I'll rather be chauffeured than drive an automatic/cvt/ecvt/double clutched transmission... Tho something is absent it feels like Too much is missing in the experience...

I have a Blackwing with the auto as a daily. Totally love it and it makes me smile everyday. I have a lead foot as well, but if you don't go to hard on the fun pedal you can get high 20s on the highway.

I feel the same way. I love stick and the bw has an amazing 6spd but I've been driving stick 6 years daily. I just don't want to do it no more. Too much traffic in my city and on highways . From what ppl say the auto trans in the bw is very good! I need to just chill mostly and play pretend F1 driver when I need to.
If you included a 0-60 mph with a racebox your videos would be even better than now :)

i’m hoping to get one when my lease is up this summer or fall. either ct4 v or blackwing. depending on price. the Blue color is the best and so is Yellow. those are my choices.
The CT4-V Blackwing and the CT5-V are the best sports sedans to ever come out of a factory IN MANKIND HISTORY. PERIOD. The CT5-V Blackwing in particular is the GOATS of all sports sedans. Nothing beats a rowdy gnarly supercharged LT/LS V8 with a manual 6-speed Tremec. Top that off with magnetic ride control, lots of creature comforts and hi-tech luxuries and you got yourself a super sedan. GM really upped their game and destroyed the competition with these two. I pray to God I can afford a CT5-V Blackwing and own one soon.

Almost every car reviewer says the auto is better than the manual in the m2, but guess what...50% of sales are manual cars. So it doesn't matter how great the automatic is. :)

The CT4 Blackwing is a beautiful car. I would personally opt for the 6 speed manual. I had a 2021 GMC Sierra with a 10 speed auto and it started having problems around 30k miles. Ended up selling it as the dealership couldn't identify the problem.

No complaints here! the v6's get the flak but most of the ones like this are twin turbo charged! and can be modded way cheaper and produce same if not more power than the V8's yes a good rumbling cammed v8 sounds nice, but so can these v6's I've got the grocery getter explorer ST and I've just begun unlocking its true power!

Do you need AWD? RWD cars are more fun to drive, so if you don’t need AWD then I’d go with the Caddy. If you need AWD, then it’s between the other 2. They’re all amazing!

Totally fair review, but what botgers me really, really hard is the video title. Tge best V6 sportscar cant be a Cadillac, it can however be the best V6 Performance Sedan. Because everyone knows the best V6 sportscar is a 911

It’s a Sedan, not a Sports Car.
Actually, like the CTS-V, ATS-V, CT5-V, this is indeed a full-fledged sports car, developed from the ground-up for track duty, and will absolutely hang with, or destroy, what some consider to be, “sports cars.” What’s a sports car, something with 2 doors, or something that can turn-out record times around a track?
@@haredr6511 Sports Cars should fall into the S-segment and either have a 2-seat or 2+2 seating layout, which this Cadillac does not, it also doesn’t have a Coupe or Convertible body-style which is the standard for Sports Cars.
The argument that it would keep up with a lot of sports cars doesn’t really hold a lot of validity due to a number of reasons, firstly, some of the faster EV’s nowadays can absolutely obliterate Sports and Supercars in straight up acceleration.
Additionally, the performance threshold for what can be considered a Sports Car has changed quite a bit over the years, the 3rd gen Ford Focus RS for example, will be faster around a track than an E46 BMW M3, but the vast majority of people only consider the later to be a Sports Car.
I think that the term Performance Car would be more appropriate here, seeing as the CT4-V Blackwing is a Sedan, with a heavy focus on driving dynamics and performance capabilities.
Going fast does not automatically make you a Sports Car, you only need to look at some older things like the Austin Sprite and Triumph Spitfire to know that.
It’s a Camero with 4 doors. I mean that as a compliment. I own a Blackwing and it runs circles around most sport cars drive one and then tell me if I am wrong

Sports car has lost its definition. Used to be lightweight, 2 doors, 2 seats, RWD, handles well, and top-down/off capability.

Too young? He just drove the CT5-V with the supercharged LT4 in it. That thing is the epitome of what a musclecar sounds like. This baby V V6 sounds amazing. Not as good as a V8, but it barks and crackles in ways that make you giddy!!!

Agreed 100%. This is the problem with American cars that have any sort of power. The gas mileage sucks. Equivalent German cars with lots of power get much better gas mileage.

@@blackfish4674it’s quite literally the opposite. BMW has solidified themselves as the performance standard, and anything else has to be _that_ good just to get a comparison. I think Cadillac just has better engineers, and that’s saying something when you’re comparing to that of BMW, the benchmark. Again, majority are programmed to hate anything outside of German engineering which is why you see more M3 than Blackwing 4s.

The problem with these GM cars is they don’t know how to make a powerful engine and get decent gas mileage. The Germans know how to do that. It’s very unfortunate.
You obviously never owned a corvette. NA small locks get PHENOMENAL fuel mileage. I could routinely get more than 30mpg on the highway.

Great review man and you're right, the Automatic is great especially for daily commute in stupid traffic. Fuel economy sucks in the city but on the hwy, you can get 400 miles to a 14 gallon tank on cruise control all the way. I have yet to see a reviewer go into depth with V mode and the various option you have. Every mode for every option leads to a significant difference in driving experience. From suspension to steering control.
I agree, I have a 4BW with the manual........and none of the reviewers go full depth into setting the V mode parameters.....steering, suspension, brakes and all of the other settings you can set to various levels. I actually did it with mine, I went to V mode.....put all of the settings at the max level to see how it felt and drove.....I'll tell you at Max V settings.....it was knarly for sure.....and not drivable on the street. It was full race car mode, and they never mess with the traction control levels either....that are also independent.

Good review. These cars are all around amazing. It’s a great daily driver, then you can take it to the track and be a monster…then drive it home with no issues at all. The goal was not build fastest car but build a car that was great at everything it did…but especially built for track day drivers who want to flog on it.

I'm looking into buying one of these. For the price and value, it's awesome! The small screen display is fine since less tech is better in my opinion.
Bigger screen doesn’t mean more tech. Also this car is loaded with all kinds of tech - mag ride, brake by wire, electric assist of all kinds, complex engine logic and so much more :)
