A board game idea that my friends and I did. 4 player free-for-all. 3 stocks. We all start on Mario. Each kill you get in the match = one character spot forward. First one to win a match as Random wins the entire game. Yes, you end on random.
I have an idea for a video. It’s online doubles, but each character is controlled by 2 underdogs using one joycon each. teams and left/right joycon switch every match.
Smash board game but you have to play a mini game depending on the roll, for example: 1 smashketball 2 volleyball 3 golf 4 jump rope (figure it out) 5 regular doubles 6 doubles WiTh A tWiSt

Suggestions to change the game: ~Make teams swap, so there is usually a single winner who roughly did the best overall. (Or play it free for all.) ~Switch some of the roll results, specifically making "roll again" a lower number.
At 6:16 I had that happen while fighting a friend. He was playing DK and I was Rosa. He rolled in from ledge while I held rapid jab and where he was between Rosa and Luma it had the same effect. Absolutely amazing game.
Smash doubles board game with a twist after each roll the teams get mixed up so everyone moves ahead at their own pace. For example if they start on Mario and roll a 8 the two team mates would be pikachu then randomize the teams, so they could have someone one pikachu and the other on Mario and keep going so on and so forth.

Roll a dice but use it to select what items you turn on. So start from the beginning and if you roll a six then turn on the sixth item. Then another 4 would be the 10th item.
i have an idea for the underdogs next board game video if they do one. so similar to what u did, play a board game in smash, but, randomise the teams every match. example: in the first match one team wins, roll the dice, and get a 1. the 2 winning players move from mario to donkey kong. then randomise the teams again and play again. whichever team wins rolls a dice, and if they roll a 2 for example, the person playing donkey kong moves to samus, but the mario player only moves to link. randomise teams again, and keep doing this until ONE player reaches random and wins. i thought this might be a cool way to make it more competitive between the four of u all and put a bit of a 'twist' on the next one. i doubt itll get in tho since its a bit confusing and i dont think anyone rly looks at these ideas anyway
if you don't want the doubles to be mirror characters of each other you can do a team setup where Team 1 is comprised of players A and B while Team 2 is C and D -- Players A and C start as Mario and B and D start as Mii Gunner, this way the matchups are much more random in matchup slots *and* you get to do this--board... game?
They should really separate movement from conditions. Like. Roll for conditions first, and then roll for movement. "13. Compliment your opponent, and a 7 for movement." Or like "Rolled a 20 on conditions, so I can roll on movement twice." That way, it's significantly less likely to be 20+Movement, which is busted.

On the one hand, I love smash doubles board game. On the other hand. For the love of god, PLEASE use a pair of six sided dice. The d20 is just too swingy!
I suggest keeping the d20 but have a d10 or d6 be a negative number. Meaning if they rolled a 16 and a 5 it would be 11. This also means they have a chance to move backwards if the d20 is lower which would make the game longer
Well the d20 allows them to have a lot of fun rules so I'd suggest keep the d20 and divide the number by 2 or 3 and round up to determine how many spaces they actually move.
With a d6 it would take like 25 wins to get to the end. They would be playing for hours. Even with a d20 they had to split the video into multiple parts. Plus I doubt that any of them care about the game being unfair.
