Psikyo Sengoku Blade: Sengoku Ace Episode II Tengai (One Credit, No Deaths), Miko/Koyori

Character: Miko.
Difficulty set to Hardest.
I set a cheat for Non-Stop because I find dialogues a little distracting now (I’ve seen them a million times) and they interrupt my momentum.
Just a little background: I started playing Tengai back in 1999 at a video arcade when I was in high school. Miko has always been my favorite character ever since I started playing this game. And when the difficulty is set to hardest, I think she's the only character who can defend herself from so many enemy robots because of the power of Basaro, her familiar. Basaro’s bubbles chase enemies wherever they are on the screen, so it’s easier for Miko to wipe them out. Smaller enemies are the silent assassins of this game. But you must be very careful with her bomb though. It needs timing and a lot of practice.

@@TruthHurts-2 Just hold the first button longer than usual and when you see the familiar get bigger, release the first button. The familiar would then produce either a ball, a wheel, or a ghostly cat, depending on the level of your power up.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to avoid multiple bullets and spread shots, because I cannot figure out the hit box for the characters.
They feel to big to avoid shots with little room to wiggle around.

It takes a lot of hard work, really. It took me a year to finish all levels of Tengai with just one coin. Then several more months to finish it with no deaths.

I also noticed, Katana seems to be the character that's easily shot. She is slow and a mere touch from a yellow bullet and she's dead like that. I can move around faster Junis and Miko more. Sho and Tengai are the most vulnerable to stray bullets next to Katana. Ayin, the hidden character is okay. But I don't use him much because of his limited range. Though his sword thing is super fast, it's not as strong as Katana's.
Just a tip, these bullets will eventually spread away from each other at the farthest end of the screen to the left. If you know there's going to be hell fire, always wait at the very edge of the screen to the left to dodge.

Sometimes using bombs though takes away my momentum to dodge.

i am amature player and tend to use
bombs casually.
never cared the loss of momentum by bomb.

Is the rate of charged attack a little too fast? Only Ayane Should have this fast charge attack, and instead his charged attack (sword attack) is short in range

It's slower compared to Ayane/Aine. I am just used to doing charged attacks all the time. It does look like it's "fast" but it isn't.

Also, when Basaro's clone is released, I immediately hold the button for another one. It makes clone creation faster but it's still slower than Ayane/Ayin/Aine's,
