FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 in Russia

FIFA Confederations Cup will be held the first time in Russia from June 17 till July 2, 2017. The Cup is called a rehearsal of the World Football Cup, because it is held a year before the world championship.
FIFA Confederations Cup Russia will take place in four Russian cities - Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi at the stadiums which will host the matches of the world championship later.
Saint Petersburg is the only one city in the world with the population over 5 million people which is situated in the north region of the planet. This is the city of the long and glorious history, the city with the unique architecture and many different sights for seen.
FIFA Confederations Cup Russia will be held in Saint Petersburg at the stadium «Saint Petersburg» which is located on Krestovsky Island and one of the most expensive football stadiums of the world. The stadium «Saint Petersburg» is designed for 68 thousand people.
Moscow is the capital of Russia. Moscow is the biggest city in Russia and Europe by the population. It’s among ten biggest cities of the world. FIFA Confederations Cup Russia will be held in Moscow at the stadium Spartacus which is designed for 45 thousand people.
Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Kazan is one of the largest cities in Russia. The Kazan Kremlin is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
FIFA Confederations Cup Russia will be held in Kazan at the stadium «Kazan Arena» which is designed for 45 thousand people. The stadium was built for the Universiade opening ceremony in 2013.
Sochi is the largest resort city in Russia. It is situated on the north-eastern coast of the Black Sea in the Krasnodar region.
The FIFA Confederations Cup matches in Sochi will take place at the «Fisht» arena which was built for the 12th Winter Olympic Games. The stadium, with a capacity of 40 thousand visitors, is located in Adler in the Olympic Park.
