For the pizza, I suggest using naan bread as the crust. Warm up one side of the naan bread on the griddle, flip it over, add the sauce and toppings, etc. Add the griddle lid for a bit until the cheese melts and toppings get warm. Kids love making their own pizzas.
I have at least 4 Induction cook tops(not one has stopped working)...can't wait to try this one ! Max is 1800 ( I think that's what you said)...perfect...Pls do more of these videos...I was just about to subscribe...then you said " I don't usually do videos like this..." so...I realized I'd wait until you do. Look forward to that ! Thanks much.. Wait I did subscribe...just didn't hit bell.....yet !
@@edsgarage001 That's GREAT ! Car videos? Ohhh....I'll love those...cool. I didn't check to see what you do... A good car video...can't be beat ! I'm a New Yorker so we're very savy to car videos... Thanks !
This looks great. Need to add this to my hurricane tools. I used the Coleman dual burner during Milton but I can use this indoors that's nice. 1800 watts on the power stations very reasonable considering how quick it heats. I have a regular one burner with coil but the cycling thing is annoying.
I've been trying out a single burner Duxlux cook top. I'm using both Cast Iron and Carbon Steel cookware. I found hot spots, which burns the food in those circular hot spots regions. When I boil water I see a tiny ring of bubbles which to me indicates the 8" dia cook top is not actually 8" based on this observation. Also mine cycles power when on the lower settings. I'm not a happy Duxlux owner. Can you tell me if the AMZCHEF produces a thin tiny ring of bubbles when boiling water?
I'll have to try it out, I haven't noticed... But when I've used the griddle to make nachos, the heat seemed pretty evenly spread out... But that might be just the griddle doing its job. I will point out that this one does still cycle, but only at very low power settings. I'll get back to you on the boiling thing....
A stove in a kitchen is generally connected to 240v 50amps, and if you had every burner on and the oven, it would top out over 10000watts. 1800 watts is the maximum that a regular outlet can output (120 volts X 15 amps) so this induction cooktop *can* draw up to that amount (makes sense to have the ability to use all the available power, if needed) BUT you won't be pulling the full 1800 watts very often. Unless perhaps you're trying to boil two pots of water at the same time.
@@edsgarage001 no your correct i just looked and my one burner is 1800 watts thats were i got that number from. this is actually a great cook top im looking for low power range cook top for my rv

Right on! Thanks for the comment!
Will it work using my Ioniq 5?

1800watts is that not what my full stove runs at ?

It's absolutely a great option. I love how compact it is. And the griddle is a super bonus
When I use The Griddle Part . Does The WHOLE GRIDDLE GET HOT . Or just The COOKING CIRCLES . Thank You Ed .
The whole thing... Of course it starts off a bit in the circles, but the heat quickly spreads to the whole thing.
Why does EVERYONE say "go ahead" for every move, when we ALL know you won't be "going backward" to do "it" ?
It's an ingrained, reflex, indoctrinated figure of speech. 🤷.
Thx for the comment.
