love the flying hair on perkins and navarro...insane this clip is fan gold!!!! ha...batman! love the marching band chat:) thank god for the marching band:)
Mudget - Yeah, Siouxsie & Co would play right before Jane's during the first Lollapalooza tour. Best lineup ever. If it weren't for the extra-long set Siouxsie & the Banshees favored us with when they returned to Denver 7/8 months later (she was feeling ill during their Denver show, maybe exhaustion or altitude sickness, or both), that would easily have been the greatest concert(s) I'd ever seen. I saw Jane's a couple of other times (when they came through with Primus on the RDLH tour, I was still a few weeks away from turning 18, very few all-ages shows worth seeing back then, all the non-arena acts played in clubs where alcohol was served), which were also great shows (the Relapse Tour with Flea wasn't the same as Avery-era Jane's, but still had some serious energy, Flea was great, even though he struggled to play pick-style instead of with his fingers, he brought something different, but still awesome, to the band while he was with them), but the way they dressed thy stage during this era was awesome, I much prefer it to all the other bright/flashy stage props they've been using since after '97, definitely set a memorable mood, especially combined with the fact that they were either playing in dimly lit stages or at night, usually, which I'll always prefer to the daytime, mega-festival atmosphere so typical of most of their more recent performances.
So amazing. I'm seeing them for the 3rd time in August 2024, hoping to hear a good version of this.
