    This is wonderful. Please visitors to countries with Elephants. Do not pay for elephant rides, or entertainments! Instead contribute to sanctuaries like these. Encourage your friends and family to NEVER go on elephant treks. Instead go walking WITH elephants in sanctuaries. Financial contributions to this foundation or the Sheldrick Trust in Kenya really make a huge difference.

    One of the most touching videos I have ever seen. To see the elephants have so much trust in their "rescuers", and to see the elephants follow them to their new home in Elephant Kingdom was beautiful to see. Combine the beautiful video in HD with the background music which is also incredibly touching, almost made me cry out of happiness for these beautiful creatures.

    It's wonderful that these elephants will be able to live a natural, free life. I hope that the ENP workers will keep watch and make sure no one comes to hurt these elephants or try to take them back into captivity.

    This is what I was envisioning! I hope more of the healthier, mobile elephants can move there soon.

    I am glad that these 3 will have healthier life on the hillside. The elephants at ENP tend to be obese possibly due to too much food offering, including some not so good stuff like bread. Hopefully more elephants can join them in the future in this environment.

    • @cacatr4495
      @cacatr4495 7 лет назад

      Bread is not food for elephants, corn isn't either. Three times hybridized, wheat is damaging to the intestines of all, and the elephants should not be fed it. Both corn and wheat block mineral uptake to tissue cells, thus depriving them of the minerals they ingest. Fruit and ORIGINAL vegetation of their proper environment, not the modern agricultural wheat and corn. Elephants never had those in their original habitats. They were designed to eat what grew naturally in their jungle. Those wrong foods damage and inhibit health.
      It's so awesome to see them in their proper environment, the groomers of the forest, Keystone specie of the jungle. Hurray!

      Considering some of the states of ellies that arrived at ENP it is grand to see they have got weight on them, no doubt once they settle in their jungle habitat they will lose alot of that weight as they will only be eating what's available to them.

    I really wish there was stronger punishment for illegal logging with elephants. It is the worst. And the way they “ crush” the elephants spirit, in order to control them, it really is sick. I want nothing more than all elephants to live a happy, pain free life full of love. 💜

    Forgive me if I'm wrong but I saw from a tourists video from August that the elephants are still being worked. They don't look free. There's a guy riding one of them. I thought the point was to allow them to be free.. I hope I’m wrong about that and that they really are free. Thank you for supporting them and taking care of them.

      There are still trekking camps around ENP but they are not Leks rescue ones. You will see vids of tourists on ellies but they do not reside at ENP, belong to private enterprises, you will notice that none of the mahouts of ENP carry a bull hook. You may occasionally see a mahout atop of a ellie when they are off loaded from a truck, however this is rare indeed.

    ทำไมมีแต่ชาวต่างชาติคะ ส่วนใหญ่นะ ถ้าเป็นคนไทยก็มีแต่คนมีชื่อเสียงไปถ่ายทำรายการทีวี คนไทยนักท่องเที่ยวทั่วๆไ,เหมือนชาวต่างชาติเหล่านี้ ไม่ค่อยมี สักวันจะไปให้ได้ค่ะ ได้ยินว่า คนไทยครึ่งราคา

      อยากไปเหมือนกันครับ ผมว่าที่คนไทยไม่ไปที่นี่ อาจจะมีเรื่องค่าใช้จ่ายนี่แหละครับ อีกอย่าง คนที่ไปพักที่นี่ล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นคนนักอนุรักษ์ซะส่วนมาก และชอบด้านนี้ คนไทยมีส่วนน้อย เท่าที่สังเกตุ ก็มีแต่คนดัง ดารา นักการเมือง นักธุรกิจ ชาวบ้านธรรมดาหายากครับ
