I've come back to simpleken after a really long time and it was such a treat! Funny how you find things just at the right time sometimes. I remember when I first tuned in (I think it was the second episode when Kanan first made his appearance - don't quote me on it - and he was super sceptical about your 'podcast' at the time) and I find myself in my parents' room during just in the early stages of the lockdown. It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since then cause that's a really long time. Anyway, just a message from one of your very old listeners to say this was lovely :) Very happy that you're going for a separate channel and getting produced! Cheers!
it took me a lot of effort to make my partner open up to me. we have been together for 5 years now and we both are 23. I love it that now he is comfortable with me. I love him. It doesn't mean that there aren't days I am mad at him but allover I really love the person he is.
I have never clicked on a video faster in my life. I watched their previous podcast quite recently for the first time and to be able to watch the same set of people again so soon is such a joy ❤️
Lmao Kenny was right, Shamik did start opening up around the 32-40 minutes mark :P Also, congratulations on the 3 years of Simple Ken, Kenny! I remember when it first came out, I was in the middle of my finals and I watched the first episode in 10 minute segments during the breaks. Listening to long recordings of people talking i.e podcasts/collegiate lectures was not something I normally spent my time on owing to the sheer commitment of sitting in one setting for 40+minutes but I was invested in this project simply because I'd been a fan for a very long time (unconditional love). Glad that it's added a lot to my life in terms of acknowledgement that everyone in their 20s, early and late, is going through similar issues. Before the podcast, it was my understanding that as comics, you probably had your life figured out to the dot because to go up on stage and joke about the macro and microscopic things requires a lot of introspection and a very hd quality of clarity on life which I believed gave you the solutions or the ability to manage these baseline problems. But through these LROUTs (long recordings of you talking), you touched on topics like mental health (failing and thriving), the eerie domain of relationships and the struggles, introvert vs extroverts debate, early childhood and reminiscences, privacy and self boundaries, physical health and why you should do it, being passionate about something, not being passionate about something and still finding ways for that work and ofc, how dating in a workplace is bad :P However, I think my highlight was always your acceptance that sometimes you didn't know the answer and that was fine. We know a bunch of facts on this topic, we will properly layer them out and discuss/debate on it, do some practice questions and maybe we won't come up with an answer that is classified as right/wrong or will satisfy the majority but the only acceptable thing is moving forward and creating a trajectory based on what we have analyzed. Thank you for the time that you spend on these LROUTs, I believe it must take a ton of coordination with all the other comics and their bizzare timelines and getting them altogether in the same space and making them feel comfortable. Super excited for the future of Simple Ken!
Ken, you were so on point when you said love is irrational and unconditional, it's true. If there's love, we overlook their flaws and just adore and accept them as they are. It's stupid but then no idea it's just what it is.
i feel like this is such a nice podcast topic so far. really needed to be talked about . the evolutionary biology thing starts as an amazing interest ends up in existential crisis.
In love with the Simple Ken Podcast! Especially this panel. This show somehow brings in a sense of calm understanding of various aspects of humanly existing and that too, quite simply. And yes, we all need Kanan for as much time as he wants explaining anything he wants. :)
Why is no one talking about both Kanan and Shamik picking up the water bottle, drinking some, closing and keep it back in the most synchronised way without laughing and spitting the water at each other's face uh? 😅
kenny : it took me 3(or 4 i don’t remember what he said) years to move on from my dog’s death. kenny few minutes later (while answering what unrealistic expectations he has from his hypothetical wife or partner) : Don’t die.
Sweet episode! ♥️ I hope your lives are filled with all kinds of love & warmth. My question might be a recurring one but I'm aching to get a perspective on this. There is a legacy in every industry be it the film or comedy industry. For eg. when we think bollywood - we think SRK. Nobody compares to him in our eyes even though we have technically had an influx of extremely talented actors in the past decade. He is still undeniably the most loved & adored actor in the country. Similarly with the indian comedy scene, you & Kanan stand out as the stars of this industry despite so many people joining comedy and making a name for themselves. No matter how good other comedians are, when i think comedy - i think of you & Kanan. I struggle to understand what is the reference point for the audience when they decide to permanently associate an industry with one or more persons & make them the "stars" on an almost unanimous basis. Is it the duration of familiarity? Is it because they pioneered sumn? Is it the mystery of their persona? Or is it plain & simply - the charm & the magnetism of them individuals? I'm sorry this is a long one but like i said, I couldn't help myself. Thank you for sticking through it. 😅 #simpleken
Thank you for making me feel like parents fighting at home as normal... My fu***ing friends all acted like such things never happen in their house!!! I was always depressed by that🥲
Love the logic of love is basically irrationality and unreason-ability. Now when someone asks me why I’m single I’ll be like- Kyunki PAGAL nahi hoon main.
Richard Feynman once said - "Mathematics is like sex. It has a lot of utilities, but thats not why we do it." Kind of have the same opinion for love. It may have some underlying evolutionary reason, but thats not why we do it. Coz realising that makes us incapable of or bad at it. So if you want to fall in love, you have to not believe in only the evolutionary reason. And given the evolutionary reason, you "should" want to fall in love. So if you accept the evolutionary reason, then you should believe its more than that. If you don't accept that, you anyway believe that. Thats a paradoxical proof that one must believe love is more.
We all need kannan gill for 3 hrs just explaining anything he wants.

Ken, you were so on point when you said love is irrational and unconditional, it's true. If there's love, we overlook their flaws and just adore and accept them as they are. It's stupid but then no idea it's just what it is.
Match the similarities between your parents and who you love , then you will know the logic of the word unconditional .
Kenny, I appreciate you so much for making these episodes. I just love the podcast so much
i feel like this is such a nice podcast topic so far. really needed to be talked about . the evolutionary biology thing starts as an amazing interest ends up in existential crisis.
Love these long recordings ....keep making such videos Kenneth 😇
Kenny and kanan kiss is the best thing i have laughed on 😂😂😂
kenny : it took me 3(or 4 i don’t remember what he said) years to move on from my dog’s death.
kenny few minutes later (while answering what unrealistic expectations he has from his hypothetical wife or partner) : Don’t die.
Oh man, what a booster your podcasts are
javi adhav = jay jadhav, hmm sahi hai, same hi toh hai 25:47 (always a joy watching Kenny speak Hindi)
rewatching for the third time ! Thank you !
All people I love listening to together in one panel... Yaay!
Kanan supremacy gang requires more Kanan, thanks
Everyone is wearing glasses. The glassed podcast, ehh.... eh..... i'll show myself out.
i love kenny and everything he does , period.
why am i crying at the parental love part
Would love to hear kanan's take on infidelity
This is so wholesome! One of the best SimpleKen episodes! ❤️
Thank you so much Kenny for bringing this pannel again.. it's a treat to listen all of you together.. just love long time of you recordings. 💕💕
Kenny really is colorblind…he corrected the color on the video and made his red shirt look orange to us, normal people
Love Kenny, Kanan, Sreeja, Prashasthi and Shamik ♥️ Great podcast!🙌
This is so wholesome and one of the best podcasts ever that I have seen in a long time 💯💯💯💜💜
Thank you for making me feel like parents fighting at home as normal... My fu***ing friends all acted like such things never happen in their house!!! I was always depressed by that🥲
The definition of the word"Love" includes the word "Love"!!! Tells a lot about "Love"!
I feel everyone should have a friend like Sreeja, the world would have been a better place then
kenny reading “jay jadhav” as “javi adhav” is kinda hilarious😭😭 love the pod so much
I came here to comment the same thing!😂
I can’t get over how Shreeja’s looking at Kannan >>>
I want Kanan and Biswa together on simple Ken podcast. Also, simple Ken is not at all simple. It's always deep and humbling. 😊❤
This one is really fun !! And love. ❤
29:37 An Elf is what you need Kenny!
Love the logic of love is basically irrationality and unreason-ability. Now when someone asks me why I’m single I’ll be like- Kyunki PAGAL nahi hoon main.
Thanks Kenny. You're awesome.
Kanan said something about connection and my mind went to Kanan-ection. Okay thanks byeeee.
We want more kanan!!!
Richard Feynman once said - "Mathematics is like sex. It has a lot of utilities, but thats not why we do it."
Kind of have the same opinion for love.
This is the combo I need in my life 🥰🥰
