this is just my opinion, but i ran into a guy who had the "Don't Go All Out" super soul, and he spammed his charged ki attack, which took like 2 and a half stamina bars. i find that cheesy

As an only PvE focused player im just gonna say this. I don't understand why so many people always ask for nerfs in games that are mainly PvE focused because of how stuff is in PvP. I have played several games that have done this shit and one major one is Destiny 1. All people did was bitch about nerfing stuff in PvP then when it was other stuff took their place and became the meta and hurt the players who used whatever got nerfed in PvE only. Thats why I hate people begging for nerfs because when they do happen it most likely ruins whatever got nerfed for PvE only players like me. Now if bandai or dimps or whoever balances the game could nerf and buff PvE and PvP separately then everything would be better balanced overall.

All that good PvE content then you have just a few different modes of PvP that aren't even used because people only play 1 on 1 anyway. Madara 1096 Just because they add a bunch of stuff to PvE doesn’t mean the player base revolves around it. Endgame is pvp and it’s simple as that. Parallel quests don’t last players that actually want to play the game extensively.
Green Gamma yea end game is PvP but up until then it's all PvE focused to get xp, moves, and really everything. The game was made to be PvE focused but just because the player base mostly plays PvP dosent make it a PvP focused game

The problem with all these moves is that because they all so abusable, by themselves they are just really good moves, but then people figure out how to spam them, or how to make them unvanishable or something, or use them to continue combos and spam them, Dimps really just needs to tweak most of these to make them unabusable, for example, take out the imvicinilt frames of fake death and aura slide, or make super god fist vanishable and make it so you can't continue combos with them. Keep in mind I'm not trying to defend the cheese in anyway, but Dimps just really needs to take a look at their game for once and fix all the stuff that is killing it.
Perfect solution to stop infinites is to make the damage go down extremely low after the combo has been spammed multiple times like in Budokai 3 with infinites but only PvP, PvE shouldn't be affected because it's not competitive.

perfect blocking was pretty cheese from the beginning since a lot of ppl just spam the block button unless you actually time it right, but now there are limit bursting to give the blocker wayyyyy to many benefits

Idk about most of this video to be honest with you brudda. The only skills I see an issue with are the fake death and backflip s- which can mostly be chalked up to the netcode being bad for the time being. We gotta be careful when we do videos like these as content creators because alot of times it's not the game's fault and there are simple ways around all of these things bothering players. A majority of the casual playerbase just isn't trying to get good enough to get over the things they run into and complain about everything. It's dangerous fam.
the only move you can say that about is punisher drive tho super god fist theres no way around the spam of that mid combo an combo extender perfect shot if you get put in a quick square triangle knockaway its a rap an aura slide the infinite loop is beyond cheese now the back hit part can be blocked but its just something making that move that much more OP an a great example of how these moves are cheese is because people who use them mostly cant win or level skill drops when they dont have these
Neither perfect shot or super god fist being spammed has ever been an issue for me personally, and we've been playing the same game since last year lol. The game gives you enough tools to mitigate or nullify damage coming at you through snap vanishes, perfect blocking, using an evasive etc. Like in any fighting game, if you get opened up to be hit by something, you deserve to be punished. We can't try to compare Xenoverse to traditional fighting games and then be selective about which facets of them we want to carry over. Taking out the ability to combo into certain moves because they do damage is a bad way of going about seeking balance, because half the time these skills can't be used without being combo'd into at all. I don't even use a majority of the moves people complain about since I use cast most of the time too- so it isn't me defending 'cheese tactics' for the sake of defending 'cheese tactics' lol

Any time I play pvp I play it with people that know how to play though bro. If you don't want to be hit by the super that's causing you problems, don't get hit by the combo that leads into the super, I legit think it's that simple. As far as the skill helping people do better, not all CaCs are built equally, some moves just don't have synergy with [insert race here's] combo strings. It'll be the reason why someone puts some of their favorite moves on a Male majin and can't combo into them at all- because from the ground up that race wasn't built to work with those supers. It's why male saiyans work so well with knockback focused skills, almost every point they get to is a knockback. To be honest with videos like these all I see are excuses man. People don't like losing, that's common sense, but to go about things in a way where you absolve yourself from the need to improve or get better at making decisions in the game as far as stamina management or neutral play is harmful toward the community in the longrun man. That's my entire point.

A LOT OF TEXT, OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING, JUST SHARING MY INPUT. Anyways, good video as always Cabzie, kind of made me realize just how cheesy Perfect Shot can be, mainly due to it's damage imo, as it's only a 1 KI bar move and can be easily used (and abused) and you can still continue a combo. Damage shouldn't go higher than 1k. Even some moves which aren't necessarily super cheesy on their own (or at the very least has very few complaints about them, if even any at all), and are barely used, can become extremely OP and cheesy if you know how to use it effectively. I spent 17 hours straight in training, messing around with several presets I came up with and found some nasty shit which allows you to change the combo a bit depending on their stamina and your KI. Super Soul: Sorry. You were way open there Super Attack: Flash Strike Super Attack: Perfect Shot (a bit cheese move, specially when spammed, can be replaced by either new skill or standard KI blast) Super Attack: Super Mad Dance (or Wild Hunt, if you want to do combo differently) Super Attack: Divinity Unleashed Ultimate Attack: Supernova Cooler Ultimate Attack: Giant Storm Transformation: Potential Unleashed Evasive: Hyper Movement, but it's slightly cheese sometimes, so Hit's evasive could be nicer. Somewhat short but still a bit cheesy combo (can be extended and switched up a bit, but just gonna state this one): light stamina break, triangle, Super Mad Dance, Giant Storm (use it moment after Super Mad Dance), Flash Strike (toss a Perfect Shot and it won't connect after Giant Storm), Perfect Shot (probs gonna replace this due to being a bit too good, but you can use a lot of other skills here if they have semi decent tracking I guess). if they have enough stamina left and you either have Perfect Shot or really any other skill which includes the skill travelling to the opponent and then having a few mult-hits, and allows you to move at least some time after it's tossed, it doesn't even have to let you move fast enough for a simple knockback into the skill in order for it to work, as Mad Dance knocks them back, then Giant Storm knocks them a bit further while they're still in mid-air ish, then Flash Strike sends them a bit further to the point where you'd probably only be able to land a single ranged move before it'd untarget the player, so the the skill you use after Flash Strike will work just fine even if you can't normally continue combo after a regular knockback, as long as it will allow you to move at least before it connects, as then the moment it hits you can teleport to them with Super Mad Dance, done, cheese.
I dropped majority of all the cheese moves since getting better at the game eventhough I didn't know they were considered cheese. Super Godfist I still have on my presets but use 1 or twice a game and punisher drive only into mystic flash to kill my opponent after a stamina break. Heck, I don't even touch SSB Goku anymore because of his skillset and its sad.
TLDR: Rise to Action, Fake Death, Punisher Drive, Perfect Shot, super god fist. Super God Fist > Perfect Shot looks like FUN! this made me love the game again hahaha
I dont have problems with skills. It really depends on how people use them and how frequent they are used. When people use skills to get away from the stamina game, usually by spawning a skill to get stamina advantage, doing massive damage to the opponents, regenerating health, stamina or avoiding being hit, then no matter what skills they use are pretty cheese.

I'm a competitive fighting game player and I just picked this game up for fun and I was honestly gonna sub to your channel till I watched this one. You have a very simple-minded way of thinking and being from the FGC we consider people like you toxic tbh. One of those people that just cry "spam" just for punching you and playing the game the way it's meant to be played.
Says people are wasting time by defending the moves and that if you're mad somebody called them cheese you're just butthurt and should use others. I'm not sure those people are the butthurt ones, sounds more like you are, it's an attack in a game get over it. Learn to over come it rather than spend your time tossing petty insults at those that use them. What is overpowered in any game is generally a subjective matter, plenty if skills in xenoverse 2 are in my opinion way too powerful or exceptionally useful. The game also has a PvE component and that requires some moves to be exceptionally powerful.
exactly, i never get mad at a game at all even if skills are too overpowered. i just adapt to it and get better at it instead of having the developers fuck the game up even more by nerfing the game that's how people stop playing games in the first place because they listen to what the community want's and not use their own heads and thats what i like about this game
because spamming aura slide to do infinite combos and strike of revelation makes you good lmao. If they nerf it, the only ones quitting are the ones who were abusing the moves in the first place, thus making pvp more fair.

I haven’t really played against many spam attack players, but 1.) Super God Fist is definitely one-although it’s one of the best supers in the game, it also super easy for people to ruin it. I remember playing against this one dude who kept dashing at me then vanishes and connects Super God Fist and repeats it over and over. You would be forced to use 3 bars of stamina for your evasive skill. 2.) Instant Transmission would have have to be another one on my list simply because this one dude just kept using Instant Transmission over and over not even attacking me and it got boring pretty quick. 3.) Heavenly Arrow can also be a cheesy move, I spam it a lot when playing offline 4.) I would say any counter super attack like Pressure Sign or Burst Rush. It’s really not a bad thing. It’s a great tactic to use when your stamina is broken. It’s also a good way for force your opponent to use stamina but I could see how counter attacks can easily be annoying when spammed and 5.) I’d have to say Saturday Crash just because I can’t move when hit by it and it leaves me wide open and I don’t like being open
You cant tell people not to comment what they think. Just because you feel that "literally everyone" thinks they're cheese or cheap doesnt mean others will think the same, i personally feel that some of these moves require practice to use and if you cant evade them you just need to practicel

@@jesseroberts9960 Punisher Drive is one of the easiest moves to land in the game, I don't know what you're talking about. Fake Death is also very difficult to avoid due to it having massive invincibility frames. These moves don't take timing at all.

Still, idc if it's really "frowned" upon, I'll still use it. Super saiyan Cabby28 To be honest I used to use aura slide when it came out, but soon dropped it because it is cheese. Punisher drive is just OP, is not cheese, SPECIFICALLY when I use it. Its because of how I use it, as it does not do much damage on my charecter because I am balanced, I will use it 2-3 times per match, and I use it backwards as an improved backhit when people are cheese block spamming because they don't have the skill to perfect block, otherwise if I have a qq bang that gives me reduced super strike I might use it 4 times tops, and not in a row. (I also use it to counter laggy people) But because I know the move is somewhat cheesy I never put it on my super strike centered charecter. When i had initially come to the realization that punisher drive is somewhat cheesy, I had to convince myself of it, because I didn't want to believe it, Gogeta is my absolute favorite character in the dbz universe (no offence to those of you who like ssj4, but I personally am not a fan of that one). I'm not talking about favorite character in the game I'm talking about favorite character in the show although he is a good character in the game, god tier. But because it was his move and he be my favorite character I didn't want to believe that his move was cheese so I had to convince myself because I knew it was cheese deep down. So I still use it but I don't spam it and because I don't spam it and I don't put it on an all strike built character it's not that cheesy when I use it. But I do understand that is very OP to the point that it is basically cheese. I normally use other moves but because it's the moves of my favorite character that's the only reason why I use super mad dance and Punisher drive, plus super mad dance is the second highest damaging strike super
1: Aura Slide 2: God Fist 3: Do or Die (Cheesy ways to use if you have the elder Lao super soul.) 4:fighting pose K? (I think it's K, it takes your health instead of stamina, basically it's super armor, and can be used to cheese with do or die if you have he elder jail super soul. 5: Fake death (the fact that lag plays well online with this move, and even if you do perfect block they still move instantly after getting up, also the fact that lag will not let your combos connect if you dodge the kick, so they end up backing up, dodging, etc.)

xXSonTjXx If it can still hit you after taking to bars of stamina away, is too fast to dodge even in you see it coming and goes to far to be punished even if ypu do manage to dodge/block, it pretty much qualifies as cheese

Super God Fist: remove combo potential. Punisher Drive: decrease speed and remove stun effect. Honorable mentions. Fake Blast: remove blindness from screen. Energy Barrier: reduce knock back time. Dragon Burn and Absolute Zero: remove disabled z-vanish and evasive. Hmm Hmm Hmmm! Hm Hmmm! Hmmm!: switch to temporary healing, only one use per player or ranked battle.

I think they should add a cool down to super attacks to allow your opponent to recover. Once way they could do it is to have the cool down be double the amount of ki bars the move takes. So an attack like Kamehameha which takes one bar, have that cool down be two seconds. Or Dragon Fist which takes 5 bars, have the cool down for that be ten seconds. Also have no moves be unvanishable, if your opponent goes for an ultimate but you vanish out of it or if they miss, they can't use any other skill moves until the cool down is over, which allows the other player to punish their opponent.
I don't play online at all due to my laptop's limitations, but I plan on playing on a pc once the servers are playable again on steam and I get the time. I can't believe I never thought of using Rise to Action right after a quick knockback though (Don't worry. I don't find intentionally using cheap skills/playstyles fun). I didn't even realize that was a thing. Great video. It's unfortunate that there are a lot of cheesy skills though and several of them are common picks in top 5 cheese videos I've seen.
How they should nerf those attacks👇🏻 1- Rise to action: needs to take 2 bars of ki 2- Fake Death: needs to take 1 bar of ki instead of nothing , and it shouldn’t have that invisibility frame when he jumps from the ground 3- Aura Slide: you can’t use it as an infinite , and takes 2 bars of ki if used as backhit 4- Super God Fist: Faster recovery after getting hit, slower start up time, and be able to perfect block it ( when playing online ) 5- Punisher Drive: Shorter distance, or takes a bit longer to use, and it shouldn’t stun your opponent after getting hits 6- Perfect shot: It should take 2 bars of ki, because it does insane damage 7- Mighty Explosive Wave: Leaves your opponent wide open after using it right away, because it can be spammed and do a crazy damage especially with aura slide, or Super God fist - that way spammers won’t spam sh*t anymore! 🙄
Anyone who actually defends these moves regardless how good they are against it are fools. I've dealt with these spammers before but I can tell you, its still not fun.
The way I see it, it's just my opinion, is that those moves in general are not cheese, but if you abuse and spam them, then yes, they are cheese. That's just how I see these moves.
How about top 5 moves that deserve a buff? Here's mine. (In no particular order) 5. Big Bang Attack - They had the right idea with the first buff, but I think they either need to decrease the startup or increase it's homing. 4. Galick Beam Cannon - If Galick Cannon is the Kamekameha to Galick Gun, then Galick Beam Cannon should be the Kamehameha x10 to Galick Gun as well, right? I think it really deserves the same buff. 3. Become Giant - I think literally everybody agrees when I say that Become Giant needs the same buff as Purification. I mean, seriously, you'd think they'd do it by now. Become Giant is way too easy to stop, since not only is the stamina drain about the same as Kaioken x3, but Stamina goes down with every hit and that seriously sucks. They need to also decrease the amount of stamina lost by getting hit because even if it has Purification's buff, it's so difficult to control and it's far too slow to be able to defend itself from a heavy combo which will absolutely break the form and your stamina, making the form obsolete. If they can't do that in a patch, it should at least be a Super Soul. 4. Emperor's Blast - Hear me out here, I know that this seems like cheese in the making, but name one time that you or someone else used this move and it hit something other than a CPU. Why is that? A couple reasons. For one, it's startup is WAAY too slow. I'm talking so slow that it's punishable in every situation unless you hit those hard reads, I'm talking slow enough that if you vanish and see it coming you'll dodge it everytime without fail. (Sometimes you won't see it coming and still dodge it.) Second off, it's hitbox is jank anyway because I swear sometimes I hit this move on a Computer and it doesn't do anything. I'm not sure if it's because it's range is too small or if the hitbox is just weird but too many times have I tried to use this move and nothing happens. This is probably the worst move if it's kind. Which sucks because it looks the coolest. 1. Psychic Move - This move has potential to be useful. And it has a cool factor going for it. But it falls short for many reasons. First and foremost it's by far one of the easiest moves to Perfect Block in the game. Also, it leaves the user wide open. While they can choose to move out of the move at any time after the slash, the problem is that that timeframe is far too short to use properly. I assume they intended for you to use it to get behind an opponent using an Ultimate, but the move gets delayed by hitstun! Even if it didn't, by the time you start to charge a heavy attack, the Ultimate's probably over. The move takes too long. Plus, it's intended purpose becomes obsolete due to Hyper Movement. To buff this move, just teleport straight to the opponent like Hyper Movement, instead of doing the jump that ruins the move due to hitstun. Second, make the slash come out and end faster, then make the timeframe until you're vulnerable longer. Problem solved.
hollow fighter What do you mean there's no way to stop it? Could you go into detail? As far as I'm aware, it's too slow and clunky to properly defend against most attacks. Especially if you get behind it.
Elijah Smith A move that already works after a knockback combo (if you vanish behind them and do it) and you can fly up to them after it already, and it does high damage, expects a buff
Super god fist is cheese. If you somehow get knocked away, rip you, because you gonna be stuck in an infinite combo of super God fist spam until they run out of ki, you die, or they mess up. There's this timing of when you're getting up the perfect moment to get knocked away without being able to move. I haven't found a way to counter, except for using evasive when they mess up. Super God fist normally is pretty easy to dodge though, just move to the side. Trunks stamina break cheese is op though. You get grabbed and thrown to the sky, GG, stamina broken. When your stamina is about to go back up, you're thrown again and when your stamina is back it gets broken again while your in a stun lock.
there is no greater feeling than using "change the future" or "god breaker" when you see someone spamming cheese moves. Sure, both those moves (and pressure sign, because fuck pressure sign) can be cheese as well, but it's not impossible to get out of them

Bare with me y'all as someone who uses punisher drive on my main preset, I agree with you!! I legit gave myself a handicap with it during matches because I know how much of a problem it is when I first got it. I'll only use it 3 times a match (sometimes 2) but not consecutively, that just gets annoying man.
I like super god fist its a nice way to end a match but the ssgss goku users made me DEPISE SUPER GOD FIST AND GOKU I HAVENT USED A SINGLE GOKU BECAUSE OF THAT AND I WANNA CHANGE THAT
I came up with a cool combo with perfect shot. (I play offline because my internet is shit so idc if it's cheese since it's only hurting npcs) I use a delayed knock away combo so I can get more damage dealt in before I use perfect shot. Then I run in and use triangle square triangle to do the op kick combo and right afterwards use burning slash which knocks away the opponent so I can charge up more ki since SSJB sucks the crap out of my ki bar. P.S.: Yes, burning slash knocks away the opponent but it also has a delay so I can't use perfect shot as a follow up attack. The combo above deals around 25k+ damage in SSJB with Cabba's op super soul
The most cheesiest way to use aura slide is to do a "don't go all out" charged ki blast after this and it will destroy your opponent stamina and you can also use aura slide when you guard just like all clear

Top 5 cheese/annoying evasive any point in time? But yeah all these moves need a major major nerf but Super God Fist has to be the most annoying with me and I’d have to replace that Rise To Action with that Ginyu special pose where they become invincible unless that’s a evasive or something cause they literally can keep attacking you without taking any damage unless you grab and that isn’t always guaranteed so I’d say that over RTA but other than that, this video is spot on👍🏾 I honestly only use Aura Slide to get a heavy stamina break or a light stamina break and immediately use Focus Flash then use the teleporting version of Savage Strike and that combo does around 12000 damage or more when fully hit like that but I never use Aura Slide more than once in a fight.
I feel Fake Death is more OP than Backflip. One, you can continue your combo. Two if you button mash Backflip you do the double backflip, while if you button mash FD, it is almost impossible to hit
In the Xenoverse 2 beta, Backflip used to be even worse then Fake Death. It had SOOO many invincibility frames and was pretty much impossible to punish.

Some moves i hate are... -Emperors Blast, Over-Spammed and Overpowered -Go Go Gum, IT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH WHEN PULLED OFF -Energy Drain Or Something (Cell Only) It's easy to use and spammed, good thing it's only for Cell though Dodon Ray- Real easy to combo with and can be overused Solar Flare- When spammed against me online and it works they can get a break off and i cry everytime Also let's throw in the fighting poses but those are my 5 (or 6) On my list i only put ones that weren't on yours. Side note, god of destruction anger can be cheap if used like with gotcha or Raditz's freezing move. Other than that it's not too cheap anymore after they stopped letting you combo with it Edit: A little after i remembered mighty explosive wave which is VERY CHEAP when spammed, also god of destruction's wrath
I seem to remember one of your videos mentioning how you like savage strike because it's infinitely extensive, hypocrite. There's always a work around for this stuff, making a video about moves you got destroyed with because somebody decided to actually use their brain when making a "build" claiming they're cheese for only that reason is more annoying than anything you're claiming here. I'd hate to see you go against ultra instinct goku, I'll wait a week for the "this and that and everything is cheese" video on him.
Boi I love super God fist. It is SO disrespectful looking. I love the close up of the dudes face getting smashed in, especially when my opponent has been laying into me with some unavoidable garbage. Giving him a nice God fisting just feels good. I don't play much online, but I have noticed if you aren't using it mid combo that shit is so easy to dodge. People literally just move as normal and you fly right past them. Computers do it, and people do it to. I don't play online much, but the times people have challenged me online, I have it because I use it for my pve build. Even then I use it mid combo as an ender so that while they are flying back, I can get some stamina or ki back.
I work way around these cheesy attacktix.. so I don't understand why anybody else can't. Beside no power level, numbering system, ultimate attacks & super attacks matter. It really depends on your skills and how you play it. Some people I would say are just better and everyone in the community should accept that, mainly just try harder.
I swear the online broken people use infinity combos on me and spam divine purfication and always using Goku black rose or ssgss Goku i can never have a good battle also u forgot Savage strikes that's now being spam.
While I personally don't use any of the moves on this list I don't think we should be shaming people who do. People don't like being told what to do and you end up alienating your audience. To be honest I belive that even if the game never had these 5 moves in it you would just be talking about the next "top 5 cheesiest moves" and we could do this forever. My point is some moves will always be better than others and you even listed the counters to most these moves meaning you already know how to adapt.
I could see some of these being useful for raids, PQ's, but in PVP they would definitely be cheese and shouldn't be used especially if the users are gonna say they are "skilled".
I use rise to action but only when my stamina gets REALLY low (which doesn't happen a whole lot). But even then, I'm practicing trying to conserve my stamina more.
Super saiyan Cabby28 if you don't really play this game than how do you know what's "cheese". I've been playing since launch and I'm still finding combos that are way more "cheese" than anything you've listed. Like being a super saiyan and launching a super spirit bomb then linking it into a 10x kamehameha. If done with anything that boosts your ki blast it will take out more than 3 full bars of health and it's easy as hell to pull off with a stamina break.
I've just been getting into this game, and while trying to learn the competitive side I keep hearing about certain cheese moves. I definitely understand why they're labeled cheese, and I know full well I'll probably get so salty running into these, but competitively speaking it's part of the game. Another of my casual competitive games is Pokemon (if you can call RNG competitive anyway) and that's another game with "cheese" mons. People commonly complain about OP set ups and while they're two different genres of games, I will say that the one thing they have in common is tools that are commonly disliked by a % of the player base (cheese). However being disliked doesn't mean they just go away. If they're allowed to be used, people will use them. The fault lies with the devs for not constantly patching broken shit out of the game, or making it not broken. Competitively speaking I really believe if the cheese is there, you need to just either use it yourself, or develop strategies to specifically counter it. We can agree they may make the game way less fun, but complaining about them does nothing unless trying to give feedback to the devs for future patches. Either way, as a newer player, I've really been enjoying your content Cabby, and so far haven't found any other youtubers I like as much to learn this game from. Hope you'll do FighterZ content too!
tbh i think these moves make the game a whole lot fun. i get a whole lot of kick when im using my dancing parapara and super god fist them 24/7 until they drop dead or leave the match crying/raging

As an only PvE focused player im just gonna say this. I don't understand why so many people always ask for nerfs in games that are mainly PvE focused because of how stuff is in PvP. I have played several games that have done this shit and one major one is Destiny 1. All people did was bitch about nerfing stuff in PvP then when it was other stuff took their place and became the meta and hurt the players who used whatever got nerfed in PvE only. Thats why I hate people begging for nerfs because when they do happen it most likely ruins whatever got nerfed for PvE only players like me. Now if bandai or dimps or whoever balances the game could nerf and buff PvE and PvP separately then everything would be better balanced overall.

The problem with all these moves is that because they all so abusable, by themselves they are just really good moves, but then people figure out how to spam them, or how to make them unvanishable or something, or use them to continue combos and spam them, Dimps really just needs to tweak most of these to make them unabusable, for example, take out the imvicinilt frames of fake death and aura slide, or make super god fist vanishable and make it so you can't continue combos with them. Keep in mind I'm not trying to defend the cheese in anyway, but Dimps just really needs to take a look at their game for once and fix all the stuff that is killing it.

Perfect solution to stop infinites is to make the damage go down extremely low after the combo has been spammed multiple times like in Budokai 3 with infinites but only PvP, PvE shouldn't be affected because it's not competitive.

Idk about most of this video to be honest with you brudda. The only skills I see an issue with are the fake death and backflip s- which can mostly be chalked up to the netcode being bad for the time being. We gotta be careful when we do videos like these as content creators because alot of times it's not the game's fault and there are simple ways around all of these things bothering players. A majority of the casual playerbase just isn't trying to get good enough to get over the things they run into and complain about everything. It's dangerous fam.

Neither perfect shot or super god fist being spammed has ever been an issue for me personally, and we've been playing the same game since last year lol. The game gives you enough tools to mitigate or nullify damage coming at you through snap vanishes, perfect blocking, using an evasive etc. Like in any fighting game, if you get opened up to be hit by something, you deserve to be punished. We can't try to compare Xenoverse to traditional fighting games and then be selective about which facets of them we want to carry over. Taking out the ability to combo into certain moves because they do damage is a bad way of going about seeking balance, because half the time these skills can't be used without being combo'd into at all. I don't even use a majority of the moves people complain about since I use cast most of the time too- so it isn't me defending 'cheese tactics' for the sake of defending 'cheese tactics' lol

Any time I play pvp I play it with people that know how to play though bro. If you don't want to be hit by the super that's causing you problems, don't get hit by the combo that leads into the super, I legit think it's that simple. As far as the skill helping people do better, not all CaCs are built equally, some moves just don't have synergy with [insert race here's] combo strings. It'll be the reason why someone puts some of their favorite moves on a Male majin and can't combo into them at all- because from the ground up that race wasn't built to work with those supers. It's why male saiyans work so well with knockback focused skills, almost every point they get to is a knockback. To be honest with videos like these all I see are excuses man. People don't like losing, that's common sense, but to go about things in a way where you absolve yourself from the need to improve or get better at making decisions in the game as far as stamina management or neutral play is harmful toward the community in the longrun man. That's my entire point.

A LOT OF TEXT, OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING, JUST SHARING MY INPUT. Anyways, good video as always Cabzie, kind of made me realize just how cheesy Perfect Shot can be, mainly due to it's damage imo, as it's only a 1 KI bar move and can be easily used (and abused) and you can still continue a combo. Damage shouldn't go higher than 1k.
Even some moves which aren't necessarily super cheesy on their own (or at the very least has very few complaints about them, if even any at all), and are barely used, can become extremely OP and cheesy if you know how to use it effectively. I spent 17 hours straight in training, messing around with several presets I came up with and found some nasty shit which allows you to change the combo a bit depending on their stamina and your KI.

Somewhat short but still a bit cheesy combo (can be extended and switched up a bit, but just gonna state this one): light stamina break, triangle, Super Mad Dance, Giant Storm (use it moment after Super Mad Dance), Flash Strike (toss a Perfect Shot and it won't connect after Giant Storm), Perfect Shot (probs gonna replace this due to being a bit too good, but you can use a lot of other skills here if they have semi decent tracking I guess).
if they have enough stamina left and you either have Perfect Shot or really any other skill which includes the skill travelling to the opponent and then having a few mult-hits, and allows you to move at least some time after it's tossed, it doesn't even have to let you move fast enough for a simple knockback into the skill in order for it to work, as Mad Dance knocks them back, then Giant Storm knocks them a bit further while they're still in mid-air ish, then Flash Strike sends them a bit further to the point where you'd probably only be able to land a single ranged move before it'd untarget the player, so the the skill you use after Flash Strike will work just fine even if you can't normally continue combo after a regular knockback, as long as it will allow you to move at least before it connects, as then the moment it hits you can teleport to them with Super Mad Dance, done, cheese.

I dropped majority of all the cheese moves since getting better at the game eventhough I didn't know they were considered cheese. Super Godfist I still have on my presets but use 1 or twice a game and punisher drive only into mystic flash to kill my opponent after a stamina break. Heck, I don't even touch SSB Goku anymore because of his skillset and its sad.

I dont have problems with skills. It really depends on how people use them and how frequent they are used.
When people use skills to get away from the stamina game, usually by spawning a skill to get stamina advantage, doing massive damage to the opponents, regenerating health, stamina or avoiding being hit, then no matter what skills they use are pretty cheese.

Says people are wasting time by defending the moves and that if you're mad somebody called them cheese you're just butthurt and should use others. I'm not sure those people are the butthurt ones, sounds more like you are, it's an attack in a game get over it. Learn to over come it rather than spend your time tossing petty insults at those that use them. What is overpowered in any game is generally a subjective matter, plenty if skills in xenoverse 2 are in my opinion way too powerful or exceptionally useful. The game also has a PvE component and that requires some moves to be exceptionally powerful.

I haven’t really played against many spam attack players, but 1.) Super God Fist is definitely one-although it’s one of the best supers in the game, it also super easy for people to ruin it. I remember playing against this one dude who kept dashing at me then vanishes and connects Super God Fist and repeats it over and over. You would be forced to use 3 bars of stamina for your evasive skill. 2.) Instant Transmission would have have to be another one on my list simply because this one dude just kept using Instant Transmission over and over not even attacking me and it got boring pretty quick. 3.) Heavenly Arrow can also be a cheesy move, I spam it a lot when playing offline 4.) I would say any counter super attack like Pressure Sign or Burst Rush. It’s really not a bad thing. You cant tell people not to comment what they think. Just because you feel that "literally everyone" thinks they're cheese or cheap doesnt mean others will think the same, i personally feel that some of these moves require practice to use and if you cant evade them you just need to practicel

Punisher Drive is one of the easiest moves to land in the game, I don't know what you're talking about. Fake Death is also very difficult to avoid due to it having massive invincibility frames. These moves don't take timing at all.

Still, idc if it's really "frowned" upon, I'll still use it. To be honest I used to use aura slide when it came out, but soon dropped it because it is cheese.
Punisher drive is just OP, is not cheese, SPECIFICALLY when I use it. Its because of how I use it, as it does not do much damage on my charecter because I am balanced, I will use it 2-3 times per match, and I use it backwards as an improved backhit when people are cheese block spamming because they don't have the skill to perfect block, otherwise if I have a qq bang that gives me reduced super strike I might use it 4 times tops, and not in a row. (I also use it to counter laggy people) But because I know the move is somewhat cheesy I never put it on my super strike centered charecter. When i had initially come to the realization that punisher drive is somewhat cheesy, I had to convince myself of it, because I didn't want to believe it, Gogeta is my absolute favorite character in the dbz universe (no offence to those of you who like ssj4, but I personally am not a fan of that one). I'm not talking about favorite character in the game I'm talking about favorite character in the show although he is a good character in the game, god tier.
But because it was his move and he be my favorite character I didn't want to believe that his move was cheese so I had to convince myself because I knew it was cheese deep down. So I still use it but I don't spam it and because I don't spam it and I don't put it on an all strike built character it's not that cheesy when I use it.
But I do understand that is very OP to the point that it is basically cheese.
I normally use other moves but because it's the moves of my favorite character that's the only reason why I use super mad dance and Punisher drive, plus super mad dance is the second highest damaging strike super

4:fighting pose K? (I think it's K, it takes your health instead of stamina, basically it's super armor, and can be used to cheese with do or die if you have he elder jail super soul.
5: Fake death (the fact that lag plays well online with this move, and even if you do perfect block they still move instantly after getting up, also the fact that lag will not let your combos connect if you dodge the kick, so they end up backing up, dodging, etc.)

If it can still hit you after taking to bars of stamina away, is too fast to dodge even in you see it coming and goes to far to be punished even if ypu do manage to dodge/block, it pretty much qualifies as cheese

I think they should add a cool down to super attacks to allow your opponent to recover.
Once way they could do it is to have the cool down be double the amount of ki bars the move takes.
So an attack like Kamehameha which takes one bar, have that cool down be two seconds.
Or Dragon Fist which takes 5 bars, have the cool down for that be ten seconds.
Also have no moves be unvanishable, if your opponent goes for an ultimate but you vanish out of it or if they miss, they can't use any other skill moves until the cool down is over, which allows the other player to punish their opponent.

I don't play online at all due to my laptop's limitations, but I plan on playing on a pc once the servers are playable again on steam and I get the time. I can't believe I never thought of using Rise to Action right after a quick knockback though (Don't worry. I don't find intentionally using cheap skills/playstyles fun). I didn't even realize that was a thing. Great video. It's unfortunate that there are a lot of cheesy skills though and several of them are common picks in top 5 cheese videos I've seen.

needs to take 2 bars of ki
2- Fake Death:
needs to take 1 bar of ki instead of nothing , and it shouldn’t have that invisibility frame when he jumps from the ground
3- Aura Slide:
you can’t use it as an infinite , and takes 2 bars of ki if used as backhit
4- Super God Fist:
Faster recovery after getting hit, slower start up time, and be able to perfect block it ( when playing online )
5- Punisher Drive:
Shorter distance, or takes a bit longer to use, and it shouldn’t stun your opponent after getting hits
6- Perfect shot:
It should take 2 bars of ki, because it does insane damage
7- Mighty Explosive Wave:
Leaves your opponent wide open after using it right away, because it can be spammed and do a crazy damage especially with aura slide, or Super God fist
- that way spammers won’t spam sh*t anymore! 🙄
Anyone who actually defends these moves regardless how good they are against it are fools. I've dealt with these spammers before but I can tell you, its still not fun.
The way I see it, it's just my opinion, is that those moves in general are not cheese, but if you abuse and spam them, then yes, they are cheese. That's just how I see these moves.
How about top 5 moves that deserve a buff? Here's mine.
(In no particular order)
5. Big Bang Attack - They had the right idea with the first buff, but I think they either need to decrease the startup or increase it's homing.
4. Galick Beam Cannon - If Galick Cannon is the Kamekameha to Galick Gun, then Galick Beam Cannon should be the Kamehameha x10 to Galick Gun as well, right? I think it really deserves the same buff.
3. Become Giant - I think literally everybody agrees when I say that Become Giant needs the same buff as Purification. I mean, seriously, you'd think they'd do it by now. Become Giant is way too easy to stop, since not only is the stamina drain about the same as Kaioken x3, but Stamina goes down with every hit and that seriously sucks. They need to also decrease the amount of stamina lost by getting hit because even if it has Purification's buff, it's so difficult to control and it's far too slow to be able to defend itself from a heavy combo which will absolutely break the form and your stamina, making the form obsolete. If they can't do that in a patch, it should at least be a Super Soul.
4. Emperor's Blast - Hear me out here, I know that this seems like cheese in the making, but name one time that you or someone else used this move and it hit something other than a CPU. Why is that? A couple reasons. For one, it's startup is WAAY too slow. I'm talking so slow that it's punishable in every situation unless you hit those hard reads, I'm talking slow enough that if you vanish and see it coming you'll dodge it everytime without fail. (Sometimes you won't see it coming and still dodge it.) Second off, it's hitbox is jank anyway because I swear sometimes I hit this move on a Computer and it doesn't do anything. I'm not sure if it's because it's range is too small or if the hitbox is just weird but too many times have I tried to use this move and nothing happens. This is probably the worst move if it's kind. Which sucks because it looks the coolest.
1. Psychic Move - This move has potential to be useful. And it has a cool factor going for it. But it falls short for many reasons. First and foremost it's by far one of the easiest moves to Perfect Block in the game. Also, it leaves the user wide open. While they can choose to move out of the move at any time after the slash, the problem is that that timeframe is far too short to use properly. I assume they intended for you to use it to get behind an opponent using an Ultimate, but the move gets delayed by hitstun! Even if it didn't, by the time you start to charge a heavy attack, the Ultimate's probably over. The move takes too long. Plus, it's intended purpose becomes obsolete due to Hyper Movement. To buff this move, just teleport straight to the opponent like Hyper Movement, instead of doing the jump that ruins the move due to hitstun. Second, make the slash come out and end faster, then make the timeframe until you're vulnerable longer. Problem solved.

Super god fist is cheese. If you somehow get knocked away, rip you, because you gonna be stuck in an infinite combo of super God fist spam until they run out of ki, you die, or they mess up. There's this timing of when you're getting up the perfect moment to get knocked away without being able to move. I haven't found a way to counter, except for using evasive when they mess up. Super God fist normally is pretty easy to dodge though, just move to the side. Trunks stamina break cheese is op though. You get grabbed and thrown to the sky, GG, stamina broken. When your stamina is about to go back up, you're thrown again and when your stamina is back it gets broken again while your in a stun lock.

Bare with me y'all as someone who uses punisher drive on my main preset, I agree with you!! I legit gave myself a handicap with it during matches because I know how much of a problem it is when I first got it. I'll only use it 3 times a match (sometimes 2) but not consecutively, that just gets annoying man.
I like super god fist its a nice way to end a match but the ssgss goku users made me DEPISE SUPER GOD FIST AND GOKU I HAVENT USED A SINGLE GOKU BECAUSE OF THAT AND I WANNA CHANGE THAT

I came up with a cool combo with perfect shot. (I play offline because my internet is shit so idc if it's cheese since it's only hurting npcs) I use a delayed knock away combo so I can get more damage dealt in before I use perfect shot. Then I run in and use triangle square triangle to do the op kick combo and right afterwards use burning slash which knocks away the opponent so I can charge up more ki since SSJB sucks the crap out of my ki bar.
P.S.: Yes, burning slash knocks away the opponent but it also has a delay so I can't use perfect shot as a follow up attack. The combo above deals around 25k+ damage in SSJB with Cabba's op super soul

Top 5 cheese/annoying evasive any point in time? But yeah all these moves need a major major nerf but Super God Fist has to be the most annoying with me and I’d have to replace that Rise To Action with that Ginyu special pose where they become invincible unless that’s a evasive or something cause they literally can keep attacking you without taking any damage unless you grab and that isn’t always guaranteed so I’d say that over RTA but other than that, this video is spot on👍🏾 I honestly only use Aura Slide to get a heavy stamina break or a light stamina break and immediately use Focus Flash then use the teleporting version of Savage Strike and that combo does around 12000 damage or more when fully hit like that but I never use Aura Slide more than once in a fight.
So really its not cheese unless if its constantly used

I feel Fake Death is more OP than Backflip. One, you can continue your combo. Two if you button mash Backflip you do the double backflip, while if you button mash FD, it is almost impossible to hit
In the Xenoverse 2 beta, Backflip used to be even worse then Fake Death. It had SOOO many invincibility frames and was pretty much impossible to punish.
Spawdiamond 22 Fake Death is by far more op than backflip. Backflip isn't that bad in my opinion atleast when people used it against me

-Go Go Gum, IT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH WHEN PULLED OFF
-Energy Drain Or Something (Cell Only) It's easy to use and spammed, good thing it's only for Cell though
Dodon Ray- Real easy to combo with and can be overused
Solar Flare- When spammed against me online and it works they can get a break off and i cry everytime
Also let's throw in the fighting poses but those are my 5 (or 6)
On my list i only put ones that weren't on yours. Side note, god of destruction anger can be cheap if used like with gotcha or Raditz's freezing move. Other than that it's not too cheap anymore after they stopped letting you combo with it

There's always a work around for this stuff, making a video about moves you got destroyed with because somebody decided to actually use their brain when making a "build" claiming they're cheese for only that reason is more annoying than anything you're claiming here.

I don't play much online, but I have noticed if you aren't using it mid combo that shit is so easy to dodge. People literally just move as normal and you fly right past them. Computers do it, and people do it to.
I don't play online much, but the times people have challenged me online, I have it because I use it for my pve build. Even then I use it mid combo as an ender so that while they are flying back, I can get some stamina or ki back.

I work way around these cheesy attacktix.. so I don't understand why anybody else can't. Beside no power level, numbering system, ultimate attacks & super attacks matter. It really depends on your skills and how you play it. Some people I would say are just better and everyone in the community should accept that, mainly just try harder.

While I personally don't use any of the moves on this list I don't think we should be shaming people who do. People don't like being told what to do and you end up alienating your audience. To be honest I belive that even if the game never had these 5 moves in it you would just be talking about the next "top 5 cheesiest moves" and we could do this forever. My point is some moves will always be better than others and you even listed the counters to most these moves meaning you already know how to adapt.

I've been playing since launch and I'm still finding combos that are way more "cheese" than anything you've listed. Like being a super saiyan and launching a super spirit bomb then linking it into a 10x kamehameha. If done with anything that boosts your ki blast it will take out more than 3 full bars of health and it's easy as hell to pull off with a stamina break.

I've just been getting into this game, and while trying to learn the competitive side I keep hearing about certain cheese moves. I definitely understand why they're labeled cheese, and I know full well I'll probably get so salty running into these, but competitively speaking it's part of the game.
Another of my casual competitive games is Pokemon (if you can call RNG competitive anyway) and that's another game with "cheese" mons. People commonly complain about OP set ups and while they're two different genres of games, I will say that the one thing they have in common is tools that are commonly disliked by a % of the player base (cheese). However being disliked doesn't mean they just go away. If they're allowed to be used, people will use them. The fault lies with the devs for not constantly patching broken shit out of the game, or making it not broken.
Competitively speaking I really believe if the cheese is there, you need to just either use it yourself, or develop strategies to specifically counter it. We can agree they may make the game way less fun, but complaining about them does nothing unless trying to give feedback to the devs for future patches.
Either way, as a newer player, I've really been enjoying your content Cabby, and so far haven't found any other youtubers I like as much to learn this game from. Hope you'll do FighterZ content too!
