- Visit in Green Elephant Sanctuary Park was one of our favorite experiences in Phuket! 🦣❤️
We went for a morning tour program, which consisted of 4 main activities with elephants - feeding, mud spa, bathing in a water pool and showering. We also saw a cute baby elephant with its mom.
0:21 ♥ Elephants feeding - they eat a few hundred kilograms of food a day! 🍌

During the visit we also had an opportunity to learn about these beautiful animals.
Before being rescued by the sanctuary, the elephants had been used for riding or for hard physical work in the forest. They had lived in tough conditions and suffered from various kinds of abuse.
The sanctuary is an ethical place where rescued elephants can spend the rest of their lives in peace, being taken care of by people who love them ❤️

Wizyta w sanktuarium słoni była jednym z naszych ulubionych doświadczeń na Phuket! 🦣❤️
Program poranny składał się z 4 głównych aktywności ze słoniami - karmienia, kąpieli błotnej, kąpieli w wodzie i prysznica. Widzieliśmy też małe słoniątko z mamą.
0:21 ♥ Karmienie słoni - jędzą one kilkaset kilogramów pokarmu dziennie! 🍌

Podczas wizyty mieliśmy również okazję dowiedzieć się wielu informacji na temat tych cudownych zwierząt.
Zanim zostały uratowane przez sanktuarium, słonie były wykorzystywane do jeżdżenia lub ciężkiej fizycznej pracy w lesie. Żyły w ciężkich warunkach i cierpiały.
Sanktuarium jest miejscem, w którym uratowane słonie mogą spędzić spokojnie resztę swojego życia wśród kochających je ludzi ❤️

We are not exactly sure but probably around 15 elephants 🙂
