Amazing! Server component with React Query will be really interesting! can't wait for the new article about that! Thank you for the amazing content Jack!
Great topic and thank you for this! I'm on Remix and I've been debating about need for React Query -- I still see value and would have loved to hear more on topic the (ok to talk about Nextjs too 😛). Specifically, for long feeds w/ active content React Query handles a lot of work for me to get right even if the underlying platform provides the necessary primates. E.g., infinite scroll kept current. Been wondering if there's a piece to puzzle I'm missing because see lots of people saying no need for React Query anymore (on platforms like Remix/Nextjs), so I found this video helpful. Thanks again!!
They only did it for "query" (GET request), not "mutation" (POST, PUT, DELETE). onSuccess with "query" had bugs in some edge cases and didn't work the way people think it did so they decided to get rid of it. Doing a mutation still has onSuccess callback and they don't plan on removing that.
I had a few held for review, but I didn't see any from you. I don't delete comments. But I do know that RUclips has been known to lose a comment or two.
Thanks. Fun to see Dominik after having read his great articles for so long.

Killer interview!
why in 5 they suppressed OnSuccess in object ???!!!

so good
He is more handsome than I think.
Why comments are deleted? sharing knowledge not possible with comments?
