A lot of the "top" female vocalists are said to be there, because of their high pitch, like everyone trips over the whistle register. Alto singers are awesome, being a bass singer I feel for them, because a lot of the time they are better than the sopranos in the group. (if it wasn't hyper obvious, I was a choir geek in high school)

This might be one of the very rare cases where a cover version surpasses the original. And Hozier is pretty genius. Very cool and fine nuances in the voice, lots of dramatic expression, very believable. Love it!

Or if you don't mind a bit heavier stuff, she did an awesome cover with Leo Marocchioli called listen to your heart. she belts that song out to a metal cover of it.
