Thank you for your lovely wildwood videos. I really enjoy them. I would never let some crazy incident with teenagers stop me from enjoying wildwood and its beaches. Its a beautiful shoretown.
Joey, the Boardwalk looks Fantastic. Thanks for putting the bird in the sky.......it really shows a great perspective of exactly how much work was actually done. 👍👍👍👍👍 Going to purchase a couple of your new pins......We love pins, patches, and stickers. Yeah, like the stickers I loved to put on my boogie-board..... - Cheers
I miss going to Wildwood back in the day. They had Castle Dracula. I practically lived on the place for a few years. Now it's gone. If I ever hit the power or mega ball I want to put up an all new attraction in Wildwood. An 8 story scary mansion/ castle that you can spend the night in. It would also have a moat around it ( of course) for the boat ride.
As far as the Dominoes Pizza on the boardwalk... I don't like Domino's at home I'm certainly not going to eat it when I can only get Macks Pizza at Wildwood. Some will go for it but I don't think it will put any of the one-of-a-kind shops out of business. Besides Wildwood, I go to Ocean City MD a lot. Decades ago a Burger King opened up on the boardwalk there. It lasted four or five years then disappeared and never returned. People don't go on their ocean vacation to eat the same stuff they can eat every day in their neighborhood. That's my two cents. I do miss Paul's french fries that used to be on the Wildwood boardwalk at Schellinger back in the 60s. They held the overflowing Fry's in the bucket with a long toothpick topping it off. Way better than Curlys... Never been a fan of Curly's, but that's just me.
I love the Wildwood Boardwalk.A few weeks ago I finally got around to using my "All Day Rides Pass" that I purchased more than three years ago.Time has a way of slipping away from you.
Thanks SO Much for the update video- it only confirms i WILL NEVER GO BACK TO WIKDWOOD!! Going there as a kid in the 1970's when it was a wholesome, family place and looking at the , ahhhhh, "change" in the attractions, and general atmosphere (dont want to get sidetracked on commentary on degradation of some of the visitors who now frequent the place and what goes on) I will just look at old postcards, pictures and dream of what was, but sure isnt there now. My best to anyone who still wants to go there- just wont be me.
First off, I absolutely love the video's and you do an absolutely great Joey. Thank you for taking the time to do the video's. It helps me be a part of Wildwood even though I only get a chance to get to Wildwood a few times a year. Lastly, life is about choices. So there is a Dominos on the boardwalk. Take your pick. There is also a Dounkin Donuts on the boardwalk also. There was a McDonald's on the boardwalk in the 70's by Mariners Landing until I believe a fire destroyed it . Everyone survived. I really doubt that Dominos is going to put locals out of business. I love Sam's Pizza and when staying in Cape May I make sure I hit Wildwood for Sam's. If I want to sit and enjoy the view of the boardwalk and ocean and have a pizza, I will eat at Dominos. If I want my Sam's (which will be my first choice), I will eat at Sam's. There is enough to go around.
It probably so difficult to promote it, but such a nice job. Multiple spots, leases, rent..yada from the concessionaires, but apparently it working. Thrashers up in MD, was just asking if a distant rivalry.
Hi there. I'm new to your podcasts. And I must say I love them. I haven't had a chance to go down to the Jersey shore yet this year but I must say I love your videos keep sending them. 😎👍
Awesome video! Sad to hear about fudge factory, I really hope they can reopen somewhere else or something. Does anyone have any information on why they closed? I got lunch at Route 66 recently and it was phenomenal. The same if not better than before. About the Curleys shake up bar I think I speak for everybody when I say we didn’t need another bar on the boardwalk. Doesn’t seem like a good idea if you ask me.
You would think the people running these restaurants will be making a killing BUT with the price of food the outrageously high taxes in Jersey outrageously high rents and leases .. we live out of Wawa when we're at the shore
Joey you forgot to mention the Riots that took place over the Weekend. We would like to know your take. Before I cancel my planned vacation I would like to know more. Don't feel safe to bring my family anymore
I've been summering in the Crest for decades. They will absolutely not let that get out of control and they quickly shut down any disturbance that happened. I think you'll be fine. I'm not afraid at all. Any type of organized thing started on social media and best believe they're monitoring that as well.
Like to have a dollar for every time I drove from Philly to Wildwood. Back in the 1960's while in high school would spend $4.75 for a round trip bus ticket from 13th & Filbert bus station in center city to the Wildwood bus station that was across the street from Laura's Fudge ( one block off the Boardwalk ). Back then Mack's pizza was only 25¢ a slice.
News reports say “mobs” of unsupervised teens are causing serious trouble down the shore, including wildwood. Was considering a vacation there but these news reports give me pause.
Sadly, we’ve opted out of a Wildwood vacation this summer…..most likely never returning😢. It’s taken a serious turn for the worse. I understand the riots on Memorial Day weekend were far worse than the msm has reported. Elderly people were randomly pushed down with injuries etc….. among other things. I don’t want to expose my family members to such horrendous FERAL behavior. At least many of us can reminisce with these video:) thanks for the video! 😊
Kids that have fallen victim of bad parenting and poor schooling are everywhere. To avoid them you would have to stay inside on the internet all summer.
Can always go to Ocean City... oh wait, Memorial Day teen riots there too!! Thank goodness for Avalon... oh darn, MDW boardwalk violence in Avalon too. You see, it's not just Wildwood.
This isn’t a wildwood issue but a state of New Jersey issue. Due to laws police don’t have the power they should have to stop kids. It is happening in every shore town
@@WildwoodVideoArchive I agree but it doesn't make the idea of vacationing in Wildwood any more attractive just because it's happening everywhere else at the shore. NJ needs to vote out these soft on crime politicians and restore the rule of law.
@@WildwoodVideoArchive The violence on the Boardwalk on Memorial Day is the top news, and I was waiting for you to mention it in the first 30 seconds, but you didn't. I gave up. What good is a new attraction on the Boardwalk when you can't take your family there without fearing for the lives and safety of your family.

Yea Stewart’s was the best. A burger on the beach 🎉
Thanks for all the info. Can't wait to visit this summer.
Thanks!
Very nice job!
I miss the Stewarts were Dominos is.
I don’t remember that but I remember papis tacos and I miss that
I liked Stewart's. Dominoes not so much... even they stopped calling it pizza...
Oh No is Stewart's Gone?
@@kathrynkathryn5493 Yes, several years ago they closed it and put in a taco place. Now it is a Domino's
Stuart's was a great place. Never went to the taco place, and I only recently found out that they turned it into Domino's

The new pins look great. At your meet and greet have some of your merch for sale.
Great Job LOVED this Video!
Which place are you going to try?
@@WildwoodVideoArchive Although I'm not the biggest Dominoes fan, I'll definitely stop by for a couple deserts while going on a couple coasters.
The Domino's is horribly out of place. I don't think commercial pizza belongs on the Wildwood Boardwalk, its meant for local business.

Pompeo's changed over the years. My dad loved going there back in the 80's and 90's for dinner. Now there only open for breakfast or lunch.
Having bars on the boardwalk should help a lot. Glad that I live only about 35 minute drive away.
Great video
I WILL NEVER GET PIZZA FROM dominos!!! MACK’S & SAMS FOR LIFE!!!
liking both macks and sams is one i’ve never heard before!!
Yes same!!!❤

Hi Joey from Jersey City nj good Job
If my friend from Mississippi was to visit Wildwood, NJ and see what happened that Memorial Day Weekend 2024... she would be disgusted.
It was that bad in the entire state of New Jersey. Hopefully new laws are created to prevent it

Red Oak Restaurant has a Sea and Land Buffet.

Hey. It’s already open

LOL TRUE👌🏽😁
It's not yet summer.
Don't let the Educational Establishments dictate terms.
*We were going to Wildwood UNTIL*
Trump tainted it. Too bad.
Just what the boardwalk needs, more drunks.
This is why I hate the jersey shore. It’s all about tacky commercialism. I’ll stick to sandy hook state park.
There was no rudeness by me
