Nicole Grant people just demonize cuz he “gets in way of their ship.” For fucks sake ,THERES NEXT TO NO WAY that shipping is an excuse for hating someone.
To young people watching this, understand that Eliot's actions here are abusive and isolating. This is NOT love or caring. This is treating Chloe like a possession and holding her hostage and even escalating to violence. If anyone shows this signs PLEASE get away from them. Man or woman.
His apologists have terminal brain damage. You may hate Rachel for what she did but this idiot doesn't make those warnings just because he cares about Chloe or whatsoever. He only couldn't get over rejection and his jealousy towards Rachel. He was using fake concern role to make Chloe loathe from Rachel. But he didn't even know if he was right about Rachel or not because he was ignorant than not.
Am I the only one who had to laugh so hard when he hugged Chloe? Like: dude, she's not even hugging you back, what are you doing? :'D It looked sooooo uncomfortable....
For everyone trying to defend Eliot: 4:43 4:58 5:51 And also, Chloe felt the need to call the police to get away from him. He's abusive. Even if what he said about Rachel was true, Chloe was choosing to do everything for her, and Eliot tried to manipulate Chloe into disliking Rachel and favoring him. When he realized that didn't work, he was gonna force her to be with him. Do not defend him.
Ikr, even though he may be right about Rachel, doesn't give him the excuse to act the way he did. I mean it probably isn't even about just Rachel, if it was someone who didn't seem to be manipulating her, it'd probably be " I was there first!"
He is as manipulative and abusive as Rachel. Difference is he lost control and went full psycho. That doesn't make what he said about Rachel false, but it doesn't give him the right to abuse and attack Chloe, it's damn disgusting. It's sad to see Chloe being treated like that when she's at her lowest point in life.
I honestly think that both Chloe and Eliot are in the wrong. Now before you burn me at the stake let me explain why. Chloe obviously knew that Eliot liked him, and having been in his shoes before, I’d say she should’ve been more direct with him in the first place and told him, “hey, I’m not interested”. She kind of ended up leading him on. Not that she consciously tried to, it just happens sometimes. That, however does NOT excuse the way he acted towards her in the end. He could’ve handled that a lot better... At the end of the day this is just one big heaping mess of miscommunication.
ToxxiBunz I agree with you. Chloe isn't close to being one of my favorite characters at all (I used to think she was a cunt, but this game slightly changed that.) However, I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt and think that she is kind of oblivious to the fact that Eliot liked her, mainly because of her reaction when she finds the poems in his room. (I think she says something like, "Wait, are these about me?")
Chloe knew it from the beginning, if you read her diary she says she has doubts about Elliot's real intentions: is he being nice for getting in my pants or because he's a good person? That was dark. Anyway, I imagined he would have gone batshit crazy mode after he didn't even complimented Chloe about the play
Eliot: Stalking is defined as repeated unwanted interactions. How long have my interactions been unwanted? Me: ALWAYS. EVERY INTERACTION WITH YOU HAS BEEN CREEPY AND PAINFUL
Eliot seems like the anti-Warren. Where Warren was okay with Max being around Chloe, actually he seemed to be laid back and accepted that she like hanging out with Chloe more quite well, Eliot hated seeing Chloe with Rachel. I always liked how Warren was this friendly and accepting person who took everything in stride and didn't seem to care as long as those close to him were happy. Eliot on the other hand seemed to me like an okay guy at first, then the hospital thing made me wary of him, then he went onto full on jealous crazy mode.
don't even compare Chloe for Max and Rachel for Chloe. Rachel is a destructive person who manipulates Chloe and puts her in danger. Chloe is not, she's just confused, but she loves Max.
Eugh, I hate that people are comparing him to Warren. Warren may have seemed like he was “stalking” Max (even though I just think it was a cute crush) but he was nowhere near as bad as Eliot. Ew
Lmao love the tfs reference. I knew it too, he gave me stalker vibes from the jump. But I wanted to be nice and give him a chance and look what happened.
His whole rant is so whiny lol. I don't I owe you anything, dude. Also bothered me when he said he was the only one who gave a shit about Chloe. Joyce gave a shit about her, too, and David, despite his flaws, cares for Chloe too.
Wait how is Chloe whiny?? Because her dad fucking died and she got bullied when in school for having a dead dad then every friend she had left her?? That's whiny? Or how about Rachel Amber? She is whiny because she found out that her mom is in fact *not* her mom and her real mother chose to accept money than to see her because she is a drug addict? Adjust your empathy lol

Kyle, grief is no excuse to treat people like shit. I don't see them as whiny, but they _are_ manipulative and selfish, and frequently hurt other people with no regard. (ex: Chloe not texting her mom back when she asks her to _please_ come home or not staying for breakfast for mother's day.) I understand being traumatized and grieving, having been in a very traumatic accident myself where someone died when I was in high school, but I didn't use it as an excuse to treat people horribly. A much better way to deal with it is to take your grief and turn it into compassion for other people. Chloe doesn't do this (I give Rachel a bit of a pass here because she's only had a few days to process), and the narrative doesn't condemn her for this at all. So, I'm not the biggest fan of these two.
First off, no grief is not an excuse to treat people like shit I agree. But like, Chloe didn't treat anyone like shit? Everyone grieves differently. That goes hand in hand about the mom situation. She wasn't being a manipulative or selfish or even hurting her mom in no regard. Ask yourself why she didn't text back, why she didn't come home. Her mom's way of grieving William's death is by pretending it didn't happen. She chose not to talk about William ever, and instead dates David as a way to move on quickly. Then every photo and possession of William's, she either got rid of or hid away somewhere. Chloe, who obviously does NOT want to forget him, doesn't like this and it prevents her from truly bonding with her mom since it's pretty fucking hard when your mom hides the photos of your dead dad and then dates some guy who is an asshole. David tries to force himself to have a bond with Chloe instead of being gentle and natural about it, then he lashes out at her and gets angry when it fails. And Joyce feels split when this happens but Chloe sees it as her siding with David. Which makes her feel even MORE distant to her own mom than she already felt about grieving. But she definitely still loves her mom. That's why she didn't respond, she wanted to make a point that she didn't feel like that was home anymore. That, and she was still emotionally unstable. That doesn't make Chloe manipulative, any emotional teen would have done the same in her situation. That's just realistic. So other than that situation, who else did she treat horribly? Because she is pretty chill. Alsoa gain, what did Rachel do? She never manipulated anyone or did anything selfish.
Eliot lowkey had a point in the beginning; rachel seems like she was using chloe, but he blew it WAY out of proportion. Hes an abuser and doesnt realize that he's not always in the right
And his face and hairstyle kind of mirror elliot rodgers too, even the windows peak. And they both obsessing over women and relationshops too. I swear the creators got some inspiration from elliot rodgers
Chloe has made a lot of bad decisions in her life, and while it may seem like Eliot is trying to "save her", you gotta see that Eliot's abnormally aggressive and definitely _not_ going about it the right way.
For someone that is crazy he does make point about Rachel not being nice person. She literally took advantage of Chloe, Frank, Nathan (and some may argue Jefferson) and tried to manipulate them into running away.
@@apatheticandaesthetic3882 it’s been awhile since I’ve played the game so my memory is a bit foggy. But I think it’s implied that Rachel manipulated Nathan into thinking their close & she was just using him to build her modeling portfolio. Which she was going to use once she ditched Frank who’d be giving her a ride to LA. Kind of hinted it from Nathan’s reaction thinking Max was Rachel & how she was sleeping with Frank.
I really hope they will have another Life is Strange game where you get to play as Rachel or something because a lot of us fans really want to know what happened between Frank and Rachel. None of their relationship ever shown in this series and I hope we get to know more about this.
Eliot was right about Rachel. She waited until Chloe was completely head over heals for her and then took advantage of her. She did one good thing for chloe but then constantly flipped everything bad she did on to chloe
Omg,Elliot went fucking nuts!! But he did have a lot of valid points. I hate to admit it, but I suspected Rachel was using Chloe. It drove me crazy that he put all the information in front of her and it didn't even faze her! It was like it never crossed her mind that Rach was using her. I wish the game did have Chloe question Rachel at least a little. Just to clear the air and fill in any plot holes.
He has no valid points in here. For Rachel... yes she made mistakes in future but if Rachel used Chloe then their relationship/friendship wouldn't even for 3 years and they'd seperate nor hang out ever again.. Devs also call this guy as ''bad and obsessed'' so all topics he brought up there are invalid.
Screw Google 1)Chloe and Rachel weren't in a relationship (while Chloe was growing to romantically attached to her) 2)Rachel hid whatever she was doing because she was using Frank for stash and she also knew Chloe's feelings for her hence why she kept them hidden. Whatever she did is not true, but she didn't cheat Chloe. Remove this from your minds
1. That is probably false, Before the storm shows Chloe's feelings were reciprocated if you pursue relationship. What leaves us with: A)Pursuing relationship is canon. B)They will end in relationship no matter what. C)Not pursuing relationship is canon and Chloe develops crush on Rachel that isn't repricicated but belives it is (what is a streach to me). 2.Pressuming it is true (there is good evidence supporting that it is) that perfectly shows that Racheal is manipulative and perfectly willing to use other people to get what she wants. What only reinforces Eliot claims.
Im reposting my first comment, RUclips proving it is garbage made only great by content creators continiues blocking valid comments from others seeing them for no reason and they won't even bother to inform person that their comment is invinsible to others. "He absolutely has valid points.Rachel cheated or will cheat on Chloe with at very least Frank and Jefferson.Exact nature of her relationship with Frank isn't known but they seem to know each other at this point given by how they react in encounter with each other in EP 3. Best interpretation is that Rachel is completly selfish, worst that she is not only selfish but manipulative. There is some evidence in of it being latter like whole Rachel being good at making other people doing things she wants and lying in EP 1. Then there is matter of her influence on Chloe, she convinced her to skip day in school what resulted in her being expelled (Chloe was quick to agree but idea was still hers), she involved Chloe in theft (Chloe was less happy about it) and arson (unintentional but completly reckless and had no shred of remorse for her actions), that is only episode 1. She pressured Chloe into taking a role despite she didn't want to and potentially drugged Victoria (somewhat mitigated by fact she was trying to drug her but wouldn't hold as an excuse if she got caught) and that without going into Rachel endangering Chloe for own sake by convincing her to break into her father's office and trying to find her mother. As for argument that relationship wouldn't last if Rachel was manipulative and exploitative, that's not true. People susceptible to manipulation and dependent on manipulator, can remain in such relationships for years, I saw such parasitic relationship myself and it continiues to that very day.Chloe was lonely and she didn't have any friends after Max left therfore Chloe was dependent on Rachel (as scene at junkyard at the end of EP 1 shows). Him being "bad and obssessed" doesn't nessecairly make arguments he made invalid."
Nathan killed Rachel. We know this. He was Mr. Jefferson's 'apprentice', but when he drugged her he overdosed her and killed her. That's why Mr. Jefferson had him killed, so that her death wouldn't lead back to him in any way...
I said the same thing while playing. It all was just unnecessary and instead of rushing the end of the game, they could've removed this entire ridiculous scene and focused on making the rest of the game after this point better overall
Nathan Prescott atleast saw his behavior was wrong and felt guilty over it, even if it was at the last possible second. Can't say the same about Elliot.
technically he drugged Rachel and gave her too much of a dose, so it's at least manslaughter rather than murder. He also drugged Kate and Chloe. He seemed alright though Before the Storm, he was a little unstable but his dad was a twat. I think it was with Jefferson that he started to become deranged. He was also fine in the alternate reality and Rachel still went missing.
For everyone who is confused, its just natural that it happened all of sudden... to me exactly the same situation happen with the boy i knew for 4 years, 4 freaking years, ... but unlike Chloe, i wasnt lucky to escape this easily... anyway guys like this just explode with no reason, so trust me, i could totally relate to this, whoever made this scene sure had this experience...
Also depends on how close the police department is. I live about 5 minutes from my local PD and when I called the cops on a naked guy screaming and rolling in the street outside my window, they were there 3 minutes after I hung up. It’s whether the police are effective in whatever they are doing that’s going to affect how realistic it is. The police in my area (in my experience) have been useless. My car gets broken into. They take my statement, insinuate I might be to blame for not locking my car (I 100% did), then leave after telling me it’s a major problem in the area but doing nothing to try and get evidence. A friend of mine gets her license plate stolen, same thing the police do nothing. Then with the naked guy, they come make sure he gets dressed, take a statement, but don’t tell him to leave so he continues screaming out my window for another hour and a half until some lady joins him in screaming.
This writing it's just awful I felt like they did this to his character to further hype up Chloe and Rachel's relationship. I almost just wish he would have been Rachel Amber's younger brother
pinapplehappy1996 I never said that they have to be twins. It's like they can be related and not be twins and be in the same grade.. I don't know I just feel like his character was just wasted. When I first saw him I thought that he could possibly be related to Rachel..he kind of looks like her
They don't look alike at all. I think he was just meant to be this game's Warren. They have to be twins or half siblings to be in the same grade. (Unless they're not the same age and one skipped a grade or was held back.) I feel like it would be a bit much if James Amber was sleeping with another woman while he was with Sera. And, if he was meant's to be Rose's kid, he would have lived with the Amber's and mentioned his relation to Rachel.
Anonymous Who? I mean, she ends up banging Jefferson (hence the dark room) and Frank while leading Chloe on. Then she decides to keep the relationship with Frank a secret from Chloe and in the first game shes basically discovering all the things Rachel has been hiding from her.
xApachi Rachel never mentioned about her relationships Chloe to not hurt her though. She also ditched Frank easily for Jefferson, and while she was thinking she was serious with Jefferson, Rachel decided to write letter for Chloe about it but she didnt have guts to do it because she knew how would Chloe react and got upset. We dont know if they were officially in a relationship but still Chloe had feelings for Rachel over 3 years we know that and Rachel was also aware of it. Yes she made mistakes, but she never wanted to hurt Chloe or hurt or intentionally. That's what I am trying to say.
Anonymous Who? I’m just saying, then she shouldn’t have led Chloe on. You can say you did it unintentionally but shes juggling with a lotta people’s feelings and she was with Jefferson first before Frank, and honestly her end goal was to get out of Arcadia bay whether it was with Chloe or not.
Poor Elliot. I liked him, and I get that he was just trying to get with Chloe but he could've just tried to be her friend. Either way I guess the best thing I did for him was to fuck up my 911 did and get him to leave the house. He can now at least understand that he's never going to be her bf and he can move on.
Dude nobody is perfect, he's no where near worst than Nathan or Jefferson. He's an entitled psycho at this moment, but he's not a complete and utter freak that's undeserving of the world. The truth is that everyone in the world has good and bad quality's about them and when the world feels like it's pushing you too far, you take a swing back at it, no one in Life is Strange is good at bottling up there feelings, that's a key theme in these games.
Drew Russell Eliot doesn't have any redeeming qualities at all. His only characterization is that of an obsessive stalkerish creep who shows all the signs of abusive behaviour. That's how the game portrays him, and that's what he is. Even the devs themselves hate him, judging by the interviews. He wasn't written to provoke any sympathy, and he doesn't deserve any sympathy at all.
What's funny is that he's psycho, he's evil, but... He's partially right. (Specifically about Rachel being a destructive influence.) Yet the writing wants us to support Chloe and Rachel, so the only character who mentions Rachel being a bad influence directly is, of course, nuts... Instead of making Rachel look better, I feel like the scene stands out too much like poorly hidden tool.
NotRealName NotAtAll He wasn't 100% right about her neither though. For example, while talking about course of events (like mill fight etc) he was trying to turn Chloe against Rachel and strawmening the whole point because of his jealousy. Then he started to use concern mask to cover his jealousy (it couldve been you in that hospital, you are putting yourself to danger etc) while these were true, he didnt say this because he cared about Chloe. He said this because to have Chloe all to himself
You did this backchat better than I did. In my game, eliot found out chloe called 911 and was secretly tipping them off and chloe later had to throw something through a window to trigger the alarm and warn the police.
Hmm.... He's right though. And everyone who played first game knows that Rachel starts seeing Frank, Jefferson, etc. Eliot is saying nothing but the truth.........Also he's apparently pissed because he wanted to tap dat for quite a while. :(
ironAthor There is a fine line between BtS Rachel and Rachel after 3 years(where Rachel messed up,made mistakes) Eliot doesnt know shit about what Rachel did in future. The points that he brought up at that time were all invalid and strawmening. For instance, he said Rachel forced her to be part of play (yet she only said to Chloe that "for me" and Chloe couldnt say no because she loves her) and he said Rachel made her look stupid in play. But just to opposite Chloe was happy more than anything in her life at there and she didnt regret it
ironAthor He only had a valid point about Chloe's blatanly risking her life for Rachel but at the end of the day, this isn't the first time Chloe's taking risks (only difference, she loved Rachel and she was taking risks for her loved one) of course his points were flawed and he didn't care about Chloe at all. He only got jealous of Rachel and Chloe's relationship hence why he hates Rachel this much without knowing much about her. Get the clue guys.
To me rachel amber is amazing and has so many qualities to her i love her but I do admit she did have her flaws and I do admit she did have relationships with frank and Jefferson.jefferson from what it sounds had a sexual thing too with him and frank well im not sure the nature of that one.but that bring said she truly was a good person and redeeming qualities to her. In the long run i honestly believe max is a better influence and lover for Chloe price.heres why.max is loyal, sincere, honest, caring, calm and mild mannered and in self control of her behavior overall.she keeps Chloe more calm, helps her make better choices and makes her think before recklessly making choices
@@ChuckNorris36999 LOL. Max and LOYAL?? What Max are you talking about? The loyal and honest Max that didn't tell her BFF she was moving away, until it was too late? The Max that lies and rewinds until she tells everyone exactly what they want to hear? The Max that is jealous of Rachel, although she never made any efford to keep in touch wich Chloe? The Max, that sincere Max, that is 18, but still a child and not nearly on the same page as Chloe, the Max that is on so much self control, that she can't do shit without her powers and even with her powers, she messes up so much, that she can't use them anymore, without harming people, or the caring Max that didn't fucking rewind, when Chloe cried over her girlfriend, that was brutally tortured and murdered. Please enlighten me, how Max is any of those things you mentioned.
Elliot is psychotic and abusive, but he wasn’t wrong about what he said. Rachel was definitely a manipulative cheater who brought both good and bad into Chloe’s life, so he has a point.
Ah okay if anyone tried to hug me the way Elliot did with Chloe at the end I'd have to punch them and push them away. AAAH that looked so uncomfortable
Am I the only one who doesn’t really think he’s crazy? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m not liking his behavior here, but wouldn’t most people feel frustrated as hell if someone they care about continuously puts themselves in trouble for someone you believe doesn’t care about them?
I think he's such a sweet person. you're right. I think he overdid it with Chloe. But he loves her so much that he didn't even think how serious that was. I really wanted to know more about his past with Chloe, as was the story of the two.
The thing for me is that it doesn't seem like it's JUST Rachel, he just wants her to be with him and no one else; Rachel may be manipulative, but he comes across that way too, saying things like " No one else cares about you but ME", and then telling her that she can't leave until "She see's that he's right" Plus pushing her, and blaming her for it...
Nicole Grant This is correct. He's showing signs of being possessive and potentially abusive. The stuff he says here and the way he says it is a red flag. Even how fast he shifts into being "normal" again is disturbing.
>Locks her up in a room against her will. >Assaults her physically and blames HER for it. >Tries to convince her nobody gives a shit about her, except him. Yeah, sure, he's a perfectly well ajusted individual.
I think the blueish cyan color Chloe's hair has in the original life is strange symbolizes "good" in a way (to Max and Chloe) Chloe's mom has a hair pin in that color, Chloe's nails are in that color, her hair, the butterfly too. Rachel's earring is in the same color. But I think the color red means evil for Max and Chloe. Nathans jacket is red, here Elliot's shirt and the whole room from James is red, since they are "evil" Also when max saved William Nathan wore a blue jacket rather than a red one, max was also friends with him. Just a theory.
You know, he might be the reason she hated David so much in the original Life is Strange. He styles his hair like him, he wears nearly the same kind of clothes that are just in different colors or patterns, his speech pattern is similar to David's, and he's very physical when he gets angry or frustrated with someone. Considering that she hooked up with him multiple times to cope with the loss of her dad, you can also say he tried to do the same thing as David: They both tried to replace her dad in one way or another. You have the option to be cool with David only right before this, then there is no choice afterwards. David's a reminder Eliot, of how a bad relationship can be, and she didn't want that for herself again or her mother.
What would be Elliott's reaction knowing Chloe is dead? I mean, he does care about her... kinda creepy, but he is crushing sooo hard on her, to me at least it seems tho...
if we fail the back-talk most likely he wouldnt care but if we won the back-talk he would be concern maybe not much as much as he would've in the past since he moved on and havent interact or seen Chloe in 3 years.
I think he'd probably be bummed out, heck it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up there at her funeral considering before all this shit they were childhood friends like Max and her. But he does seem like the type that might just not show up.
I lost the backtalk with him and Chloe takes the statue in the office and throws it out the window triggering the alarm. I'm kind of glad I lost it now since Eliot hugged her ewwww
Eliot finds the phone, so Chloe grabs the statue and breaks the window, setting off the alarms and forcing him to bolt. The police don't arrive before they leave, so in the ending instead of packing up his dorm, Eliot tears a photo of him and Chloe.
Yer I kind of think it's better to be honest. He leaves on his own accord. Not getting kicked out because of his poor crush. Kind of felt unfair how that ending came about.
That's the future which Eliot wouldn't have known. I don't like him, he's a stalker so hearing it from him just makes me even resent the fact that rachel is manipultive even more.
There's zero evidence of Rachel actually having any sort of sexual relationship with Jefferson. He didn't care about her, and she was drugged by him. Anything she said about him is unreliable at best. Eliot doesn't know anything about Rachel. He's a stalker that only cared about turning Chloe into a possession.
Eliot was right but not completely. the whole time he was listing the things Rachel did he was twisting it to make her look bad. he mention the fight that Chloe had at the Mill and blamed Rachel for starting the fight when Chloe was the one who put herself in that situation, she didnt even know Rachel was there until Rachel saved her nor did Rachel intervene until Chloe was about to get seriously hurt. Rachel put her in the situation in the office by convincing Chloe to skip school with her but Rachel told Chloe to let her take the blame so that Chloe wouldnt get into too much trouble she even lowkeyed argued with Chloe but based on our decision Chloe still gets expelled or suspended for the whole year. Eliot made it seem like Rachel did nothing but just let Chloe take the blame. Eliot made it seem like Rachel forced Chloe to go on stage just to embarrass her. Rachel did volunteer Chloe to be in it but only because they needed someone and Chloe just needed to be there until Juliet came. Chloe wasnt embarrassed in fact everyone loved her acting. he didnt even mention how good Chloe was he just called her an embarrassment basically. i thought Eliot was cool at first but he's a creep and a manipulative abuser. i dont think he's a psycho or ill-minded but i do think he's a over possessive boy that got jealous that the girl he liked was paying attention to someone else instead of being with him. he wanted Chloe to see him as her lifeline. he told her no one cared for her except for him so she could be dependent on him like she was in the past when Max was gone and she needed a shoulder to cry on. he doesnt love her, i bet as soon as he got what he wanted from her he would had abandon her just like everyone else.
5:29 Wait how Elliot knows about MAx...? So it can be possible those students maybe childhood friends, who grownup together?... amd why Max left to Seattle? Income probelm? For Studies ( No ,then why she came Arcadia bay again?)
Eliot is one of those guys that feels like they're entitled to the affections of those they desire. He uses his nice guy attitude to disguise his lust for Chloe and it is very clear from her texts and their interactions that his feelings are not mutual. One of the big differences between him and Chloe is that he has trouble saying what he actually feels and if he truly cared about her he wouldn't start threatening her like he was right here.
I don't think so it wasn't entitlement he wanted some closure regarding what was going on in Chloe's life he cared about her he wanted to see her safe whether she had him or not ❤️
@@hsd287 No he was in lust with Chloe and didn't actually care. He wouldn't have actually hurt her like that if he cared. Noticed how when he pushed her he said "Why'd you make me do that?" That's typical abuser talk right there saying that him hurting her is her own fault. I'll say it again he felt entitled to her affections simply because he desired her and refused to take no for an answer. Chloe even wondered if he actually cared about her or just wanted to get in her pants.
@@mattgerrish908 just because he said that doesn't mean he was abusing Chloe he didn't mean it believe me u don't know what real abuse would look like 😅
@@hsd287 have you seen what happens when you fail this backtalk challenge? Eliot notices that Chloe called the police and goes absolutely crazy and tries to hit her over the head with one of the trophies in the room. He's abusive and he doesn't actually care about Chloe as I've said before.
If Eliot didn't pull the abusive card out of left field this would have been a really interesting scene. He makes some good points about Rachel manipulating Chloe.
He's right. Chloe summarizes her life in Rachel, but she only uses her to escape and "cheat" her with Frank. Eliot's right, it just got a little out of control
He went full psycho, not "a little out of control". And no, he was not right, he badmouthed Rachel without knowing shit about the situation to beggin with.
Rachel made mistakes (yet she never hurt Chloe intentionally,) but the points he gave were completely false. He wasn't even know shit plus he harassed Chloe. So how can you find him right at this point?
Federico Machado he was right though and how did he go psycho? He didn’t hurt chloe or anything he just wanted to talk and was pissed of that chloe wouldn’t listen
The Fierce Deity You should watch other scenarios. Just try to walk pass him or if he catches you while you are dialing police. Calls you bitch, shoves Chloe. I can't believe that you support this guy man. It is not crush/love. It is obsession. If you love someone those actions arent healthy. He locked her to he room he wanted her to care about HIM ONLY. how can you support this? Even if you hate Rachel think logical for once. Chloe doesnt want to be with this guy and he still pushes, he is being violate, aggresive over years and thinks he has to be rewarded. Wtf
Eliot was right. Obviously the abusive behavior is inexcusable, that's not what I'm talking about. He was right about Rachel Amber. Rachel is an awful character and used Chloe. People love to ship Amberprice but always conveniently forget that RACHEL GHOSTED CHLOE FOR FRANK!
Seems like Elliot was only in-game to be a sort of Warren-esque character. Remove him and nothing would really change, tbh. But at least Warren CAN take a hint and no for an answer.
*Pushes Chloe into the desk*
Eliot: ''Why did you make me do that?!''
Classic abuser behaviour right there.

To young people watching this, understand that Eliot's actions here are abusive and isolating. This is NOT love or caring. This is treating Chloe like a possession and holding her hostage and even escalating to violence.
If anyone shows this signs PLEASE get away from them. Man or woman.
Define young? Do you mean teenagers to mid twenties because that is not young!
Never been so happy to like a comment.

For everyone trying to defend Eliot:
4:43
4:58
5:51
And also, Chloe felt the need to call the police to get away from him.
I hope some creepers harasse those people who are defending him someday. Then maybe they can realize how fucked up it is.
Nicolas Marotta I remember reading about that
Also, remember how creepy and strangely psycho was his poetry in his diary...that's where I realised he's not that normal....

Eliot: Stalking is defined as repeated unwanted interactions. How long have my interactions been unwanted?

Literally
Eliot seems like the anti-Warren. Where Warren was okay with Max being around Chloe, actually he seemed to be laid back and accepted that she like hanging out with Chloe more quite well, Eliot hated seeing Chloe with Rachel. I always liked how Warren was this friendly and accepting person who took everything in stride and didn't seem to care as long as those close to him were happy. Eliot on the other hand seemed to me like an okay guy at first, then the hospital thing made me wary of him, then he went onto full on jealous crazy mode.

His whole rant is so whiny lol. I don't I owe you anything, dude. Also bothered me when he said he was the only one who gave a shit about Chloe. Joyce gave a shit about her, too, and David, despite his flaws, cares for Chloe too.
Did you just used whiny on other character from LiS that isn't Chloe or Amber?

Nathan? What
@@apatheticandaesthetic3882 it’s been awhile since I’ve played the game so my memory is a bit foggy.

Eliot was right about Rachel. She waited until Chloe was completely head over heals for her and then took advantage of her. She did one good thing for chloe but then constantly flipped everything bad she did on to chloe
I love how he just stands there after he trips the alarm and Chloe darts outta the room.
That was a pretty idiot move
Bippity Boo then y did she fuck frank if she wanted to be with chloe
Screw Google 1)Chloe and Rachel weren't in a relationship (while Chloe was growing to romantically attached to her)
2)Rachel hid whatever she was doing because she was using Frank for stash and she also knew Chloe's feelings for her hence why she kept them hidden. Whatever she did is not true, but she didn't cheat Chloe. Remove this from your minds
1. That is probably false, Before the storm shows Chloe's feelings were reciprocated if you pursue relationship. What leaves us with:
A)Pursuing relationship is canon.
There is some evidence in of it being latter like whole Rachel being good at making other people doing things she wants and lying in EP
1.
Eliot has got a point, though. Look at the crazy stuff Chloe did for Rachel.
And in the end, she leaves Chloe all alone for Frank.
Yer very true. I think that's also a call-back or foreshadow to what Rachel will do soon.
Mr Jefferson lol
And we learn Rachel's fate 🐸
Why did she even get with frank
Nathan killed Rachel. We know this. He was Mr. Jefferson's 'apprentice', but when he drugged her he overdosed her and killed her. That's why Mr. Jefferson had him killed, so that her death wouldn't lead back to him in any way...

Kat Rose No, he just drugs them and murders them.
technically he drugged Rachel and gave her too much of a dose, so it's at least manslaughter rather than murder. He also drugged Kate and Chloe.
He seemed alright though Before the Storm, he was a little unstable but his dad was a twat. I think it was with Jefferson that he started to become deranged. He was also fine in the alternate reality and Rachel still went missing.

VenomSpark eh considering it’s the DAs house though...maybe
andrew liddell Agree, also how easily everyone can enter on it and lock/unlock door xD
I’m glad I wasn’t nice to him in the previous episodes
This writing it's just awful I felt like they did this to his character to further hype up Chloe and Rachel's relationship. I almost just wish he would have been Rachel Amber's younger brother
The little brother thing wouldn't make sense unless they were twins. They're all in the same grade.
pinapplehappy1996 oh yeah because this entire story makes sense?
Well it's not as nonsensical as Eliot and Rachel being twins.
pinapplehappy1996 I never said that they have to be twins.
Elliot seems like a "nice guy"
Elliot is sorta right about Rachel though, she sorta abuse and uses ppl as she pleases.
I saw his points too.
Rachel never harmed Chloe intentionally though. Even if she made mistakes she valued Chloe (even frank admitted it)
Anonymous Who?
Elliot is the new Yandere
Poor Elliot. I liked him, and I get that he was just trying to get with Chloe but he could've just tried to be her friend. Either way I guess the best thing I did for him was to fuck up my 911 did and get him to leave the house. He can now at least understand that he's never going to be her bf and he can move on.
He was a fucking creep. He shows all the signs of being an abusive shithead.
Drew Russell BOI
He gets expelled in either way. I don't get why you can have sympathy for him either, especially after this scene.
He wasn't written to provoke any sympathy, and he doesn't deserve any sympathy at all.
yandere boi

But just to opposite Chloe was happy more than anything in her life at there and she didnt regret it
He already tapped that, Chloe mentions it in her journal.
ironAthor He only had a valid point about Chloe's blatanly risking her life for Rachel but at the end of the day, this isn't the first time Chloe's taking risks (only difference, she loved Rachel and she was taking risks for her loved one) of course his points were flawed and he didn't care about Chloe at all.
What an unlikeable yandere. All he's saying to Chloe should've been said by more decent characters.

>Assaults her physically and blames HER for it.
>Tries to convince her nobody gives a shit about her, except him.
Yeah, sure, he's a perfectly well ajusted individual.
AiraSora I agree, I think he’s right about Rachel as well.
And they said that warren was a stalker
None of them were 👍🏻
I think the blueish cyan color Chloe's hair has in the original life is strange symbolizes "good" in a way (to Max and Chloe)
Chloe's mom has a hair pin in that color, Chloe's nails are in that color, her hair, the butterfly too. Rachel's earring is in the same color.
But I think the color red means evil for Max and Chloe. Nathans jacket is red, here Elliot's shirt and the whole room from James is red, since they are "evil"
Also when max saved William Nathan wore a blue jacket rather than a red one, max was also friends with him.
Just a theory.
Shiro That’s a unique theory, I like it!
Ur crazy Elliot was way better than David Rachel and even Chloe 👍🏻
@@hsd287 Pointless comment is pointless. Here's my spare attention.
He saw her as an object. He never really cared about her.
guys, what if you lose the talkback? what Eliot goes to do?
I lost the backtalk with him and Chloe takes the statue in the office and throws it out the window triggering the alarm. I'm kind of glad I lost it now since Eliot hugged her ewwww
ooooh, I need to do this :D
Eliot finds the phone, so Chloe grabs the statue and breaks the window, setting off the alarms and forcing him to bolt.
The police don't arrive before they leave, so in the ending instead of packing up his dorm, Eliot tears a photo of him and Chloe.
Oh, that's interesting ending
Yer I kind of think it's better to be honest. He leaves on his own accord. Not getting kicked out because of his poor crush. Kind of felt unfair how that ending came about.
He's kinda got a point didn't have go all Nathan Prescott
I refuse to say Eliot is right because he is a fucking creep
That's the future which Eliot wouldn't have known. I don't like him, he's a stalker so hearing it from him just makes me even resent the fact that rachel is manipultive even more.
Being a creep doesn't make things you say invalid. He's correct about Racheal.
Jesus tapdancing Cheist, this scene got me more disturbed than any horror game I ever played
Tbh Elliot has a point but he’s not very good either, they’re both abusers
He was totally right about Rachel's damages for Chloe but It's not an excuse for his behaviors. I wish Elliot hasn't become mad and abuser.
He didn't even do anything
@@hsd287 if you try to leave he assaults her.
So this is Eliot when she won't give cheeks🤣
5:29 Wait how Elliot knows about MAx...?
So it can be possible those students maybe childhood friends, who grownup together?...
amd why Max left to Seattle? Income probelm? For Studies ( No ,then why she came Arcadia bay again?)
I really liked Elliot. I hate what they made with him.
He Was Right About Rachel Tho, She Was Dangerous For Many Reasons And Wasn't Worth It
If Eliot didn't pull the abusive card out of left field this would have been a really interesting scene. He makes some good points about Rachel manipulating Chloe.
Man I was for real rooting for him and then he turns out to be some creep
They are not even married and Eliot is already showing domestic abusive character in him.
Wtf
The Fierce Deity Dude he pushed her against the table and locked her. That's abusive as fuck.
Dude he pop up out of no where too and how did he know that she was in there lmao
He says he followed her there if you ask "You followed me?"
he threw a while childish tantrum. he tried to gaslight chloe so bad. dont like him one bit
I was actually upset about this. I liked Elliot
elliot is right, rachel is fake n is manipulating chloe
Eliot was right.
Obviously the abusive behavior is inexcusable, that's not what I'm talking about. He was right about Rachel Amber. Rachel is an awful character and used Chloe.
People love to ship Amberprice but always conveniently forget that RACHEL GHOSTED CHLOE FOR FRANK!
Seems like Elliot was only in-game to be a sort of Warren-esque character. Remove him and nothing would really change, tbh. But at least Warren CAN take a hint and no for an answer.
he was right abt that rachel tho
Yeah...
He just turned into Elliot Rodger so quickly
