I hope you could kind of understand my horrible explanation of my finance system but I did a better job in the discription. ALSO who noticed the little animation in the beginning and ending? I am so proud of those :D
I like your system! I enter all of my expenses into a Google Doc and, let me tell you, sometimes the having to record the purchase it makes me think twice about doing it!! If I can't be bothered to record it then I figure I don't really want or need it that badly :) I do keep savings goals in my bullet journal. Having to write those figures month after month is motivating to keep saving and see those numbers go up.
Yes! I love how that works too. Writing it down makes you a lot more aware of what you are spending. And I honestly try to be a bit more minimalist (not all the way) so I only buy the stuff that really makes me happy (bring you joy haha Marie Kondo). I also feel really uncomfortable if our emergency fund is too low. I never want to be struck with an expense that I cannot pay.
Agree, I guess it's important that it look like something you would love to see. Specially for me, I was trying hard to monitor my expenses but always fail. 😔😔 None worked so far.
Not only do I loves these spreads, but I also loved the entire concept of "pay yourself first" because that's what saving is, paying your future self and that's such a healthy way to think about it! And I really like the idea of doing that first before you go paying bills and spending on food and such. Thank so much for sharing!!
Yes and it works amazingly! I haven't saved this much so far (even when I still lived with my parents) I can't believe how much crap I used to buy. Thank you for this nice comment!
I always wonder where my money goes. I feel like I don't spend much but always end up having not enough. 😢😢 I hope I'll get enough inspiration tracking my expenses
Yeah it is a bit of work, but if you do it everyday when you fill in your planner anyway it get's easier. Maybe put fill in expenses in a daily tracker?
I really want to do that someday but I still don't have my set up a 100% right But I basically film with a mic stand and a clamp that holds my phone. It just stands on the floor next to the table that sits right in front of the window. That way the lighting is nice (normally haha, this video it wasn't great) take a look at my april pwm. at the end there is a little shot of my setup. Hope it helps!
I always look forward to your videos so much, you are my favourite bullet journal channel. I absolutely love your style/aesthetic, it's what I try to go for when I decorate letters for my penpals. You are a huge inspiration for me! Also, this video really motivated me to start saving up, because I've also been wanting to buy an iPad so I can use procreate. I still live at home with my parents (I'm 16 lol) and they agreed to pay for a third of it as my birthday/Christmas present combined. I am super excited! Also, don't worry, you explained your finance system really well, it was very easy for me to understand. Thanks for making and sharing this video, it was super fun to watch!
Thank you! I really like this comment because I wasn't really sure about this video so I am very glad it helped you! :D I think you are definitely at a great age to start. It was about the age where I got my first job and started saving up for "the future" haha. Well for me at 22 future is here now and I am so glad I always did, it is giving me so much freedom now! And you don't need the ipad pro anymore to use the apple pencil, it also works with the ipad 2018. That one is a lot cheeper. Good luck with your goal and thank you so much for this nice comment!
Esmee Heebing Thank you for the advice about the iPad! That is really great to know. I currently do small commissions designing business cards/pamphlets or doing paintings/digital art for small fees, but I haven’t gotten a “proper” job yet. That is next in my to do list! You are very inspiring, and I hope that I am in a position like yours when I’m your age!

You should be proud! :D I thought they were so cute and really well done!
@@Hawk_Leigh Thank you! All my next video's will probably be filled up with those haha.
@@EsmeeHeebing Haha yes please!! xD

I would love to see a Video about how you lay out your pages and how to choose a color scheme- and kind of this ;)
That is a great idea! I really want to make a video like that. Thanks for sharing!
The colour scheme is so soothing :D perfect to balance out the stress of budgeting XD
HAHA yes exactly! I love that!

Do you want to make a video about how you film your video's, that would be helpfull.😊
