One of my favorite Queen songs. I love the raunchy humor and the way Freddie has so much fun with the song. You are right. There will never be another Freddie Mercury. Awesome voice, charismatic and the ultimate showman. You have to say that the bands out of the 70s and 80s were fantastic. Especially those from your country. Yes, there was a lot of crap but, the ones that were good were great. Queen is in the top 5 bands. They were so innovative. To see Freddie at something like Live Aid you witness how he gets the audience to eat out of his hand and creates such a fun party of a concert.
@@DianeLake-sw3ym The Killer Queen video was my first time “seeing” them. Freddie’s fur coat along with the smooth & classy style of the song hooked me forever. As a pre-internet young teen, it took me a fair amount of sleuthing to discover that Moët & Chandron was champagne.Good times.
On your Queen journey, you have missed early Queen which is many people’s favourite. Do you not like the heavier stuff? Request for Liar, Stone Cold Crazy (which was covered by Metallica), Ogre Battle - all at the Rainbow 1974. Or white Queen (As It Began) at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Or for Freddie only - You Take My Breath Away at Hyde Park 1976. 🎸🎸🥁🎶🎵🎤
I have always loved this song. Brian said that he wrote it for Freddie because he liked is partners on the curvy side.

I was there, absolutely brilliant performance by Queen, they always delivered
Somebody to Love at this concert was really good and so was Tie your Mother Down.
Great reaction. You need to react to White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Seriously underrated hidden gem.
May I suggest some early Queen performances? 1974 Rainbow, “Stone Cold Crazy” & “Liar”
BTW, love FBGs!!
Killer Queen. Doing that performance at Top of the Pops was just perfect. You got to see what would be in the years to come in that one.

Brian May wrote this song and Freddie made it his own!
Gayest band ever and excellence only topped by The Beatles. Massive, massive, massive band.
