1. Ready or Not 0:00 2. Call of Duty Black ops 6 1:59 (game crashes when loading in) 3. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 2:06 4. Forza Horizon 5 2:14 5. Cyberpunk 2077 3:45 6. Ark Survival Ascended 5:15 7. Cities skylines II 6:29 8. Starfield 7:31 (game crashes after "running" the game for a few seconds) 9. Insurgency: Sandstorm 7:47 10. DOOM Eternal 9:20 11. BeamNG 10:31 12. Assetto Corsa Competizione 12:02 Some games do not work anymore due to AMD dropping driver support and or due to the GPU not supporting some DX12 stuff.
In the end if a GPU is acceptable or not is based on your needs and usecases. I feel like even the R9 Fury can deliver a good experience today if you choose your games wisely. I still love my old gpu, and you?
Well I don't think it is very good based on how much it costs and what it delivers, you can spend less and get much more while maintaining a far lower power draw. I have seen 5500XTs sell for less or similar to a r9 Fury X. And if I compare it against its competition from at the time, I would say those are fairing much better than the Fury X. I personally don't think I can see any use case this is the best pick, unless there is a really good deal in your area. Otherwise a RX470/480 or 570 and 580 is cheaper, uses less power and will do better in modern games for a consistently lower price(because a 5500XT isn't sold that much where I live in fairness).
Also about my old gpu, I unfortunately sold mine years ago, it was a GTX1650(which I would recommend over this thing as it can be had for cheaper, and is a better faster/runs games a fury X will not). Currently I have a rtx2070 super in the PC I use most and a r9 290X 8GB in my secondary PC I also use to play games, which I would also recommend over the Fury X since it was a lot cheaper. (It does suffer from a lot of the same issues like high power draw and no more driver support how ever.
