My big author goal is to hopefully one day make enough money with my novels to be able to pay for my artwork for future novels. Maybe it'll happen, maybe it wont. Either way I love writing

I recently finished to listening to The Mark of Amulii and it was a flipping amazing book! I loved every part of it and I had to stop several times because I did not want it to end! I plan to get Varcross Key and read it! Thanks so much for everything and I really hope the Path of Segolia series continues!

Thank you so much! This really means a lot to me, and I'm very glad you enjoyed it. I will have an audiobook for The Varcross Key soon as well. Probably in the next month.

I'm finally a full-time author (scraping by) and I have to say, no matter what the downsides of writing are, they're better than when I worked as a wedding manager. That job was a 'good job' and it almost killed me. Nit even a joke.

Do you have a short list of fiction you would recommend to someone that has been reading gei komi and Bara for over a decade. Other than your book which is currently on my TBR list.

I retire in December ,so I will spend a lot of time writing books and marketing them. I don't expect to make a $1000,000. I will have my pensions both state and private to live on. I also expect to work hard. I will have schedule to work with and treat it like a job. I don't have any delusions about the tasks. My strategy for loneliness is to make sure that I will go out and join in with activities every evening so that I have something to look forward to every day and to socialise every day. It is the creativity that matters, not the money and one day , it might strike oil, but if it doesn't...never mind.

Writing is actually the best form of therapy, whether it makes money or not. Just remember, there are authors out there that made it well into their 60's and 70's, so you could just as well be one of them.
If you're living on a fixed income with a lot of time, I'd really suggest trying traditional publishing and querying agents in your genre. Being retired means you'd have the time to really polish and impress. You never know what story might get picked up.
