Stunning. I have my in-laws staying over for the week, and I just casually put this video on in the background. FIL was absolutely transfixed within 10 minutes. “Who’s this bloke??” he exclaimed. Big win. Great content as always mate.
Pete - for less than £100, consider the heathland courses of the Midlands. Not too far from you. Hollinwell, Sherwood Forest, Coxmoor, Sutton Coldfield (added bonus of a Dr. Alastair MacKenzie design!), Beau Desert, Whittington Heath. All great for winter golf!
On the last Top 100 listing, there were only 2 courses with a green fee under £100. Those were Aberdovey and Silloth on Solway. 2 amazing courses and at the moment, reasonably priced. Let's see how long that remains the case.
I started watching with the intention of having a coffee with the first 3/4 holes then coming back to it later. Watched the whole lot, transfixed by the scenery and the golf, great start to the day. Thanks.
Le Kempferhof in France has fantastic fairways, clever water hazards and when you think you are in the middle of the forest, the course opens up and at the end it goes back into the forest. I live in Germany but I am happy to accept the hour's drive. One of the most beautiful courses in Europe.
@PeterFinchGolf - yet another cracking video full of content, vistas, and drama! Thanks for a fantastic 2024 of content - bring on 2025! Please consider a game at West Linton Golf Club, a heathland course with a few risk-reward holes and a stunning landscape. Happy to host you all in the nearby market town of Biggar!
wow peter ... the quality of your vids has gone UP a serious amount ... film coverage, music, the stucture of the presentation is very very good ... well done .... a class above the others around you on youtube
Siloth is a must: typically in the top 100 and can be played for under £100. Cleeve Hill: what can only be described as a mountain links. A wonderful challenge and you get seriously high altitude on some holes. West Midlands Golf Club: Infamous for it's Par 6 hole, I'd love to see Pete going for an Albatross. Leasowe Golf Club: down the road from Wallasey and the course where I'm a member. For Pete it would be a very risk reward course, because many of the holes are drivable - but brings a lot of danger into play.
Okay Pete, here's an amazing course for under $100... the King and Prince course on St. Simons Island, GA. The layout winds through oak hammocks and the highlight are the holes on the island a few hundred yards out into Georgia lowland intracoastal waterway marsh. You won't be disappointed!
Beautiful course. Pete you're really playing well. Stay positive mate - 2 over after a 3 putt on the first, a lost ball and a missed 3 footer is a bloody good result. It's a very tough course.
I used to play the machine on the Isle of Islay, views are up there with any course world wide. I have a feeling they altered it slightly to make it easier for visitors, where there was once 50ft bunkers and blind shots. Par 3s. Hit with a Wedge in the morning and a driver in the afternoon
I love this course. A proper classic links out and back set up 🙌 As much as I like collaborations, seeing quality Golf courses showcased, particularly UK ones, is one of the main reasons I watch Golf on YT 👍
If your interested in James Braid courses, then maesteg golf club is ideal, considered by golf monthly as a hidden. It’s very scenic not the longest but still provides a challenge.
Royal West Norfolk golf club, similar linksy style with epic scenery. Amazing history and if you get lucky with the tide, one of a kind. Norfolk's answer to Kiawah island. Love the graphics, great video as always.
The Machrie on Islay, I would love to see a scratch golfer series out there It might not be one of the cheapest, but it's one of the best most folk don't get to see, and it's phenomenal
For this series, you should definitely go to Cleeve Hill - Cheltenham. Forget less than £100, it’s £25 after 3pm in the summer. Old Tom Morris links design on top of a mountain. Amazing 360 deg views.
Great to see that Rob is doing well, brought a fair amount of golf equipment from him in his time at Stone. great video as always Pete! Also, Pitlochry up in Scotland Is one for you to try for sure.
Great vid! Such a beautiful part of the UK. If you're ever in that area again, try Borth & Ynyslas, great links course just the other side of the Dovey Estuary.
Enville golf club - two fantastic heathland/woodland hybrid courses. Hidden gem 30 minutes from birmingham in Staffordshire. The local brewery produces enville ale which matches the quality of the courses.
Looks like a superb course. Although back in England, Appleby is a stunning little track which is out of the way. I only knew of its existence after a visit to Whinfell Forest some 20 odd years ago! Some stunning scenery and great golf holes.
Fabulous video, love that course, now I want o play it! Just one mild complaint, is the reaction to missed 15-25 foot putts a schtick or genuine? I find it a bit annoying that you get so beside yourself with angry/frustration whatever it is, over a missed putt from such a distance. If those go in they are a nice bonus, but it's so incredibly hard to make those long distance putts, I wouldn't set that expectation to make those as much as you do. Anyway, I love your game, big fan. Thanks for the great video.
I always recommend Prestwick St Nicholas to people, it's a great price for such a lovely links course. That and Axe Cliff Golf Club in Devon, the views, the holes on the cliffs and the unique fog i played in early in the morning was stunning
Axe Cliff is one of the most miserable golf experiences I’ve had. Half of the holes are blind tee shots and the rough is brutal. Pete’s long hitting would get him in a world of trouble.
@@TheGolfingCrowe It's just as well I didn't say that then isn't it. I was talking from my own experience, nobody else's. You're right about the views though, they are spectacular, especially the view over Seaton.
Hey Pete!! Great golf! I know Fryer has featured it a bit but I really like Archerfield Links. That would be a course I would go see you play at. I like the way you think through the game and would value your take on it
Great video Pete, if you want a real challenge on a shorter course then come down south to Fleetlands golf club. £15 a round, the course is run and maintained by the members and is a brilliant course all year round but even better from Spring onwards!! Hope to see you there next year 👍🏻
This is on my list- one for next year. Silloth on Solway for me is the best top course when you talk value for money. 80 quid, ranked in top 50 of Uk&I. Only problem it’s a pain to get to but if you can it’s a must play
Three hidden gems near me in Tamworth: Whittington Heath. Drayton Manor (Not really hidden as it's right next to the theme park!!)...and Maxstoke...not long but probably the best greens in the Midlands!⛳
Princes Golf Club - Sandwich, Kent 🎉 Would love to see you take on this track and then move down to Royal St Georges thats right next door and then next door to that is Royal Cinque Ports 😉 Great content as always pete 👏
The course looks amazing, and somehow your production keeps getting better and better. I am starting to wonder if you guys have a ceiling to the quality or if its going to keep getting better at the same rate.
Agree with a few more courses in Wales Pete. Tenby & Carmarthen great courses in the South West. Also, Welshpool, just cus its beautiful but also crazy in a good way❤😅 & super cheap to fit the underrated criteria.
Great timing Pete, everyone else is doing Cobra driver videos but instead we get a fantastic course blog. Yes! 👍
Enjoy!
It's good to be different
Kudos to the musical director on this one. Mint.
Lots of the music is by Ryan James Carr, i love his stuff!
Play more in Wales. Such good value. Just up the road from Aberdovey is Royal St Davids. Also look at Tenby and Pennard.
Pennard got my vote too , stunning course.
Pennard is a class course. Tenby is a great shout too tho!
Also +1 for Pennard and Royal Porthcawl
Pennard...would be great...
Stunning. I have my in-laws staying over for the week, and I just casually put this video on in the background. FIL was absolutely transfixed within 10 minutes. “Who’s this bloke??” he exclaimed. Big win. Great content as always mate.
😂 huge win

Good call, Beau desert probably my favourite golf course played 😎👍🏼
Beau Desert is a cracking golf course!
Agree with this. Also a few in Suffolk in top 100 and
Great courses - Whittington fantastic. Would definitely struggle to get Hollinwelll under £100 though!
On the last Top 100 listing, there were only 2 courses with a green fee under £100. Those were Aberdovey and Silloth on Solway. 2 amazing courses and at the moment, reasonably priced. Let's see how long that remains the case.
I'm so glad to see an actual course video and not just reviews of new gear.
Beautiful course and fun to watch thank you for this.
Absolutely beautiful place. The scenery, the greens, the undulation. Very nice!
Glad you enjoyed it
Come on Pete!!
Merry Christmas Pete! Loved your content this year. Have a beer (or 3) on me :)
This is defo the best you tube firm, always entertaining content, and the quality of production is absolutely top notch. Very impressive guys 👊
I started watching with the intention of having a coffee with the first 3/4 holes then coming back to it later. Watched the whole lot, transfixed by the scenery and the golf, great start to the day. Thanks.
Stroke play at a great track is in my opinion the best watch!
Amazing drone shots in this video, well played too.
What a stunning course and that beach! 😮 West Wales is easily one of the most beautiful parts of the UK and often gets overlooked.
Great video as always Pete and the crew 🙌🏼 always happy to get a notification of a new video!!
Great stuff.
Give Wes his putter back and go full Scheffler with a mallet (complete with a simple line alignment aid)
Le Kempferhof in France has fantastic fairways, clever water hazards and when you think you are in the middle of the forest, the course opens up and at the end it goes back into the forest. I live in Germany but I am happy to accept the hour's drive. One of the most beautiful courses in Europe.
Love how on 17 you could really tell the bafflement the greens caused! On winter greens, quick and subtle breaks is mad. Looks like an amazing course!
What a beauty! stunning scenery and great golf and chat as always from the Number 1 Golf RUclipsr - Peter Finch!
Intros are getting better every time. What a view!
Superb track... long way from anywhere but play RSD (Harlech) and Porthmadog as well- pure golfing gold

Who knew the weather in Wales was so good mid December 😮😂
Mental
Great score Peter! Tough course! Absolutely beautiful… the course too 😏

Beautiful place, Awsome vid as usual Pete and Team.
Love it there, not played the course but stayed in the hotel on side of 17th overlooking the course and walked the coast up the course every day
That place is certainly worth the drive, what an absolutely gorgeous place, course looked just as pure.
Great video, played there a few years ago, absolutely loved it. Superb content as always “touchy Pete” 😂😂
This video is like a vacation! Great job everyone ❤

One of my favourite courses. Looking forward to Pete’s tee shot on 16. Is there any other course with a tee box so close to a railway line?
I’d suggest north of Inverness -Fortrose and Brora - stunning golf and good value
I love that course, I did a tour of golf courses of north Wales a couple of years ago and this is a great place.
Fantastic course. Did u swipe Westley's putter? Like to have seen a match against ur Mates. 👍⛳️
Goswick £25 members guest, absolute steal and massively underrated in englands top100
Rip off
The song choice after going 4 over was absolutely sublime 🤣🤣
I'm a member at Dovey, absolutely incredible golf course.
I love this course. A proper classic links out and back set up 🙌

perfectly timed video Pete for my day off ❤

The course looks amazing. Great video as always
Played our golf tour in May and stayed in the little rooms on course, top place.
What a course that is! Great round Pete, you were so unlucky with some of them putts!
For this series, you should definitely go to Cleeve Hill - Cheltenham. Forget less than £100, it’s £25 after 3pm in the summer. Old Tom Morris links design on top of a mountain. Amazing 360 deg views.
Brilliant, so many great courses on the west side of Wales. Would love to see you go over and try Tenby some time. A great video as always
Thank you!!
Great little course!
Was there a week after you, great course but more importantly one of the friendliest venues I've been to.
I’ve also got a 3 hybrid (with the same make shaft as you) and it is also my favourite club. 😀
Thanks to one of my best pals who gifted it to me.
Great to see that Rob is doing well, brought a fair amount of golf equipment from him in his time at Stone. great video as always Pete! Also, Pitlochry up in Scotland Is one for you to try for sure.
He was at Trentham Park for a while and was a good pro
He's got the swing power of a Lion, and the cuteness of a nan. Gotta love Peter Finch
Whoops is MUCH better than a LOT of stuff that comes out of RUclips golfers
What a beautiful golf course. Holy moly.
Lucky enough to play it a few years back. Great course. Great part of Wales.
Great vid! Such a beautiful part of the UK. If you're ever in that area again, try Borth & Ynyslas, great links course just the other side of the Dovey Estuary.
Knole Park GC in Sevenoaks, Kent. Absolute gem of course and great value!
It’s an emotional roller coaster watching Pete on times 😂
Great Quality Stuff As Always
Great video Pete at first thought you was at royal st david's.. I've walked around a little of it on my way to the beach lol you should play that
Pennard and Cleeve Hill
Enville golf club - two fantastic heathland/woodland hybrid courses. Hidden gem 30 minutes from birmingham in Staffordshire. The local brewery produces enville ale which matches the quality of the courses.
Great video "Touchy" Pete 😉😉😂😂
Thurlestone Golf Club, South Devon. An absolute stunner on the cliffs, sea views every hole, about £60, bring a trolley though, hilly!
Looks like a superb course. Although back in England, Appleby is a stunning little track which is out of the way. I only knew of its existence after a visit to Whinfell Forest some 20 odd years ago! Some stunning scenery and great golf holes.
Lovely course Pete! Get yourself down to the South West. Saunton, RND, and St Enodoc 👍🏼

@peterfinch, sorry to call you out, but the cities of Wrexham and St. Davids are closer than Stoke. And yes, I'm Welsh!! Just saying. 😂😂
Machynys Peninsula Golf is a real gem also ad incredible value Pete.
It’s between you and Bryan Bros for my fave channels now on here. Soon your scores are going to be really low as your driving is amazing
Great back 9 Pete!!! Boom

@@garyfurlong1501 I think it's the cheapest option of the top 100 in the UK if I remember rightly 👍
CRUDEN BAY, great course with great views.
For sure. Love it. Played there as a kid a few times , fabulous track
Played there this summer in a comp, what a course!
Machynys Peninsula is one of my very favourite courses in South Wales, you have to go there 👍🏻
These people leaving comments just to boost their rheir favourite golf content creator... 👋

Great watch Pete very close to being excellent round just putter was stone cold dead . Would love to know what your playing partners scored
Congrats on 700K!
Fantastic course great video keep up the good work team Peter finch
Great course. Rsd is class as well... silloth, Seaton Carew, seascape
The course looks amazing, and somehow your production keeps getting better and better. I am starting to wonder if you guys have a ceiling to the quality or if its going to keep getting better at the same rate.
What a gorgeous place!
Try The Shire London. Lovely course and less than £100. Situated in North London.
I love Aberdovey but the weather is never like that when I play. Last time we had Sun, Wind and then hail stone. But it is a great course.
I know they are not links courses but you should try Llanymynech GC and Oswestry GC. Both on the Welsh/English boarder and worth shining the light on.
Filey Golf Course, only course I have played with measurements on flag poles for gimmies and man eating crocodile pond in UK. Decent track as well.
A little costly but Brickyard Crossings in Speedway Indiana...a very enjoyable and challenging course

Nice round Pete
