Actually the Ultra Brothers movie was set in an alternate world. In reality, Gaia was in a separate world. Dyna was set after Tiga in the same world. Cosmos was also in another world. The Gaia in the Ultlra Brothers movie was created when Takayama Gamu gained/ regained the memories of his alternate counterpart. Same with Tiga and Dyna from the Ultra Brothers movie.
Two things I have wondered is 1. Why did they stop the Dyna/Tiga universe? Why did they not continue the continuity with Gaia set after Dyna and then made ultra shows with that continuity until at least Cosmos? 2. I also wondered being a sequel show why tiga only appeared in the Warriors of light movie with dyna and not appeared at least a few times in the dyna show, mabey acting as a mentor Ultra to Dyna?

Just like those Ultra shows in 'Showa era', those Ultramen were set in the same universe and played roles like the Ultramen Brothers. Actually I would say Tiga Dyna Gaia or even Cosmos could even be the same and have roles like the Ultramen Brothers in another universe, 2.Daigo Madoka (human host of Tiga) appeared in Episode 50 and 51 of Ultraman Dyna when Asuka (human host of Dyna) was lost on Mars after his battle with Zelganoid, Daigo rescued him from the martian dunes and brought him to his bio-dome where he met his family. At this point Daigo and Rena had a daughter, whom they named Hikari, and were working as biologists on a project to grow crops on Mars. Upon awakening Daigo had a talk with Asuka on the responsibilities of being an Ultra and he and his family looked after him until Super GUTS arrived. Later, after Dyna was sucked into a wormhole, Daigo is seen in his damaged garden muses aloud that he wished Asuka good luck, somehow knowing he was still alive.
Eden Ng I think maybe they just wanted a different setting for Gaia and Agul...so that the people would not get bored of Tiga and Dyna, if they were to appear so many time in a short amount of time...
