Bro exactly I don’t go off this info because I know it’s cap for a fact. All the players must only play a certain mode or my team cause I see less and less every week. Barely get games in the rec without waiting. Last Friday had a squad of 3 we waited for 2 players for rec for 15 minutes. Let’s be honest 2K will only lose money if another popular game comes out that’s really the only time we’ll see significant change.
I stg they put a lot of stuff that slows down the grind. Un-skippable animations vs bots so it's really a pain to grind street ball courts. Takes forever to get a game in Rec sometimes but also takes forever to end one. By the time I finish a Rec game and get back to the lobby I'm just like Ight I'm good and done for the day if I haven't already fallen asleep by then smh They really tryna finesse everyone into micro transactions this yr.
I still play 2k because Iove basketball. I could care less about rewards, rep, or clothes. I’m currently free to play and it’s a struggle but that makes the game more fun for me.
I still play the older 2K titles. 2k14 for the my career and NBA 2k8 because I have college basketball draft classes I convert over to the pros while playing the teams as a whole.

The only thing I've been playing in 2k is mygm and play now (when playing with my friends). And I use mygm as a sort of mycareer and just make my own player there without needing to pay for vc to upgrade and get animations that I want.
Everybodies hyped about gta 6 including myself but not enough people realize the affect gta v had on the landscape of many different game genres. 2K introduced the city practically because they saw how successful “open world” games were doing. If rockstar expands on their map in any form and it is accept by the gamers, you can expect 2K and other companies to follow a similar blueprint which may or may not be what their respective games/player base need and want
2K doesn’t need the content creators, it’s the opposite. If Troydan stops making videos it opens the door for other logo hungry creators to make more content and get noticed.

My advice for people who get tired with 2k is to play different modes. Like actually spend time playing the team modes and the offline stuff and you will appreciate the game more. If you don't want to do that, find another game to play.
These franchises will always make money but imo 2k is not anywhere near as unethical as EA. I thought the myteam changes were okay considering they eliminated RMT. If consistent profits weren't the goal the model for all games would be like counterstrike or league of legends where you have the base game and consistent patches to keep it fresh.

My advice for people who get tired with 2k is to play different modes. Like actually spend time playing the team modes and the offline stuff and you will appreciate the game more. If you don't want to do that, find another game to play.
The lack of defense animations on 2k suck that’s all I’m gone say
These franchises will always make money but imo 2k is not anywhere near as unethical as EA. I thought the myteam changes were okay considering they eliminated RMT. If consistent profits weren't the goal the model for all games would be like counterstrike or league of legends where you have the base game and consistent patches to keep it fresh.
