Bro exactly I don’t go off this info because I know it’s cap for a fact. All the players must only play a certain mode or my team cause I see less and less every week. Barely get games in the rec without waiting. Last Friday had a squad of 3 we waited for 2 players for rec for 15 minutes. Let’s be honest 2K will only lose money if another popular game comes out that’s really the only time we’ll see significant change.
I stg they put a lot of stuff that slows down the grind. Un-skippable animations vs bots so it's really a pain to grind street ball courts. Takes forever to get a game in Rec sometimes but also takes forever to end one. By the time I finish a Rec game and get back to the lobby I'm just like Ight I'm good and done for the day if I haven't already fallen asleep by then smh They really tryna finesse everyone into micro transactions this yr.
I still play 2k because Iove basketball. I could care less about rewards, rep, or clothes. I’m currently free to play and it’s a struggle but that makes the game more fun for me.

I used to run with at least 2-3 teams of people - including 2k leaguers and all but 4 or 5 still play the game. Something is clearly missing and 2K doesn’t care imo.

I have stopped playing 2k in 2k22. It was a joke having to spend money for everything and I didn't even play online. I only play Mycareer and GM , but even so, if you want to improve and really enjoy the game you need to buy vc
When college football 25 come out and gta 6 we know the old heads going to gta 6 which means no more post scorers and the youngins going to college football 25 means less money and they actually have to try and make a good game now so this the best thing to ever happen in 2k history 😂
I am so tired of people complaining about 2k. The game is 100 times better than anything EA has made in the last 15 years. I have a blast playing 2k, and I actually like football and UFC more than basketball. You guys complain, and complain, and complain, and you all are not going to stop the complaining until they stop making the game or just mess with it until really sucks, like EA did with Madden and the UFC games. Yes, they are greedy as hell with the VC, and they could smooth some stuff out, but 2K is fun as hell, and it is great challenge. I love honing my skills and then jumping in the rec. It’s the only sports game I’ve ever played where you can legit team up and play against other people, I love it. Madden tries to do it with there 3 v 3 arena crap, and it sucks so much, I can’t even stand it. Stop being a bunch of cry babies.

I love basketball and it disgust me what 2k has done to NBA Video Game. They have essentially copied the Mobile Game Plan. The game is lost in greed. The only thing I've been playing in 2k is mygm and play now (when playing with my friends). And I use mygm as a sort of mycareer and just make my own player there without needing to pay for vc to upgrade and get animations that I want.
These franchises will always make money but imo 2k is not anywhere near as unethical as EA. I thought the myteam changes were okay considering they eliminated RMT. If consistent profits weren't the goal the model for all games would be like counterstrike or league of legends where you have the base game and consistent patches to keep it fresh.
Love ur content great but the bottom line is until y'all creators stop with the videos and the community that plays stops playing, it's going to keep getting worse. idk why, but i really like this 2K. my only complaint is the parks i feel like they’re too extra and sometimes it doesn’t feel like 2K when i run park. if 2k25 is a next gen only game it could really be good for the community.
My advice for people who get tired with 2k is to play different modes. Like actually spend time playing the team modes and the offline stuff and you will appreciate the game more. If you don't want to do that, find another game to play.

I love basketball and it disgust me what 2k has done to NBA Video Game. They have essentially copied the Mobile Game Plan. The game is lost in greed. The fact the NBA does nothing is not shocking, anyone else thinks Ernie cringes when he has to mention Fanduel in TNT Telecast. This game is not fun, the fact they so greedy my son can not enjoy this game, cause all they care about his whales and forcing us to spend money, I refuse. The only thing I've been playing in 2k is mygm and play now (when playing with my friends). And I use mygm as a sort of mycareer and just make my own player there without needing to pay for vc to upgrade and get animations that I want.
These franchises will always make money but imo 2k is not anywhere near as unethical as EA. I thought the myteam changes were okay considering they eliminated RMT. If consistent profits weren't the goal the model for all games would be like counterstrike or league of legends where you have the base game and consistent patches to keep it fresh.

the 2k community is either filled with 80% stupid people that keep buying season passes and keep buying VC to make new builds or its now filled with a bunch of kids who don't understand the game and Spend their parents money on the game. at the end of the day 2k is just going to keep doing the same thing and even more to earn as much money from the customers with less effort put in the game to actually make it fun and good again.
idk why, but i really like this 2K. my only complaint is the parks i feel like they’re too extra and sometimes it doesn’t feel like 2K when i run park. if 2k25 is a next gen only game it could really be good for the community.

My advice for people who get tired with 2k is to play different modes. Like actually spend time playing the team modes and the offline stuff and you will appreciate the game more. If you don't want to do that, find another game to play.
