Nope, there never will be. I'm trying to write stuff similar for the second album for my band (except throw in some shoegaze) so let's see how that goes
Nothing so melodic yet chaotic ie. Best in class/genre. There are some other good ones. Try Between The Buried And Me, and Finch their 2nd album IMO is their best hands down!!!
@@Musicdudeyoutub yeah, the Dillinger Escape Plan (Calculating Infinity specifically) and The Number Twelve Look Like You are fantastic but can't come close to Doppelganger.
@@doppelganger9848 The Holloway Tape. After reading the book (highly recommend it’s so good) I gotta say even the instrumentals of this song capture what happens at that point in the story PERFECTLY.
@@PizzaBurnsRed627 Well, I wanna read the book but I don't have time so I didn't know how it's called but thanks for the info, and I will see how can I read the book
So genius how every song of their's actively risks falling apart at any minute. Ostensibly chaotic, but there's a reason to it.
sure man lol
couldnt have said it better
this is the best description of fall of troy.
lol best way to explain it. one small mishap could fuck it all up but as it is, it sounds damn near perfect
2:44 So fucking chaotic yet so melodic. God I love this band
Ahhh to be young again. The Fall of Troy still KILLS IT! Just listen to that outro sooo good. Masterpiece level sh*t right here folks.
best band ever!!
2020 and there is still no one like tfot, not even me
Hell yeah
period
The name of the song refers to page 333 in a book called "The House of Leaves"
Hell yeah! One of the best books ever.
Reading it right now, I'm actually on page 333. "The Hol[ ]y Tape" this book is phenomenal
Hell ya! I just hoped on here to comment because i reached that part today.
Love from Mexico 🇲🇽 this guys kick ass !!
That whole tone scale section at the end!
fodase mlk ngm pergunto

@@GlloomMusic how is it weird
@@GlloomMusicagreed, howww is that weird lol. its a cool part of the trackkkkk. too many memories
Math-Core

1:57 🦄
Amazing. Just fucking amazing.

for some reason that outro reminds me of Majora's Mask
Definitely reminiscent of the Masked Salesman....
1:05 - 1:23 I listen to on repeat.
1:57 - 2:20
3:35 to the end for me tbh i love it reminds me of modest mouse
Isn’t that ending melody from secret of mana?
☆
Is there any mathcore that is even in the same ball park as these guys?

@@PerfectCircle91 Heard them both.. doesn't do it for me. Dillinger Escape Plan has some cool stuff, but nothing like this

Anyone know the meaning of the [ ]? I have guesses
From genius “The Hol[ ]y Tape…” is a quote taken from Mark Z. Danielewski’s novel “House of Leaves,” with “Hol[ ]y” being short for “Holloway.”
@@milkwolfbee So, the pronuntiation of the song is The Holloway Tape or is The Holy tape?
@@doppelganger9848 Not sure
