I admit that I'm not a regular follower of this prank but it is awesome. One thing which I'm not happy is that the way Aussies checking whether the 'statue' is real or fake. Where I came from it is UNETHICAL to use your feet to touch or kick something like this. Aussies, especially the kids are VERY RUDE! in my eyes.
Well your eyes need to be checked, because Australians are actually good people. Most of them raise their children very well, and a few bad apples do not represent the majority of them. You haven't seen the videos where the child offers the statue water, and you probably ignored the parents making their kids apologize, or the kids apologizing on their on accord. Don't be hateful just because most Australians live a happy and healthy life, and unlike you, reserve judging entire countries on a few bad apples. Kids kicking isn't a uniquely Australian thing. You may just be jealous of them becase they live in a safe country.
I don't know what kind of camera you're using, but I would recommend a ND filter for it if one is available, especially on bright days like this one. It's like sunglasses for the camera, and it doesn't change the colors.
