I don’t know if you watch streams or not, but it’s quite common to see some players pause :) Can’t really blame them. However, it is very impressive when they don’t have to.

i think it will take some time for you to get up to this level ive been playing beatsaber for a little more than a year now and i can only make it past the first part

Pausing = not a pass for me :D
I understand why some people need to, but it breaks flow too much for me
altrewin same for me if I get too tired to continue I cut my losses and try later, thankfully switching to quest helped a lot with stamina

The only time pausing is acceptable is when your VR software starts crashing, then it's alright :)
