@@tonynelligan1930 No, AI is trained, it isn't intelligent. It can not create. It takes a bunch of reference points and recombines them with slightly different variations. The more common certain things are in a general pool, the more likely it will be included in each iteration. That is what is happening with these stories. People worried about AI have no idea what it actually is right now. I can't wait to see businesses starting to fail because they use it for things it simply can not do. Storytelling is very much one of those things, or anything else creative.

Where are these auditory embellishments designed to add impact to the auditorializations here in 2024 ? Additionally, there seems to be a commonality to a large number of these SciFi stories. These all contain the phrase "FINGERS DANCED/FLEW OVER THE CONTROLS". With so many tales set in a far, far distant Future there are alternatives. Being silly, maybe ship controls could be queefidly manipulated witb projected AIR BISCUITS 😬 How do sapient energy or totally gaseous beings "fly fingers over the controls" ?. Heck, there is the story of WISKERS using FELINE dancing paws over a control panel aboard a starship bridge/CIC. On THE ORVILLE, YAPHIT extends willed arm-like limbs to do similar things. Why is there a paucity of Sapient Beings using DIRECT MIND-ONLY/SYNAPTIC links to manipulate CONTROL PANELS, COMM ARRAYS, SECURITY LOCKS, WEAPON TARGETING SYSTEMS, FTL & TRANSDIMENSIONAL MOBILIZATIONAL SYSTEMS ? How 'bout a Weapon Ststem that allows for Direct Synaptic focusing and projecting on ballistic or energy weapons, or simply projecting a "beam" that moves an enemy to a new set of matter - dimensional - energy - time coordinates in our GOGGLE TO THE GOGGLE POWER ENVIRONMENT ( a.k.a. our GOGGLEVERSE ) ?
