Ngl at 2:24 that orange outline of the big G looks sick and more clean idk if that’s just me tho and also at 2:36 I also really like that swooping hawk with the mixture of brown and gold cause the original hawks home guernsey just something about it looks off
The S and the wave doesn't go together. I don't mind the wave, but it cannot be in yellow or blue or it looks too much like an Eagles wing. I'm thinking that the Scorchers and the Suns have a similar logo.
The biggest problem with the Eagles ochre jumper was always the back which was multi coloured with red numbers! Also the front was in your face, but would have worked if the back was sensible. The good thing about the Eagles jumper was the map of WA with the Eagles wings. The use of ochre was a nice move in marketing, but perhaps could have had more golden tinges.
@@mattn1 yes i like it when logos can have double meanings. like map of WA and the eagles wings. Smart. Then Melbourne with the M and demon and flames etc...
I reckon in 50 years the jumpers will have sponsor slogans across the chest. I'd like to see how jumper designs would change accordingly. Carlton would be tricky as would clubs like Brizzy and Carlton.
Ultimately bright footy jumpers and the use of green and purple will come into vogue ("strike a pose"). So Dockers need to be ready so they can sell a truck load of jumpers.
The Saints jumper with a white back is superior. It really highlights the black and red better and looks crisp. Saints definitely need to move away from the black at back traditional jumper.
I'm not a fan of Brisbane which looks to combine different style of old fashioned styles, which Brisbane hasn't even used in the past. If you're going a traditional look then it needs to be absolutely the original traditional design. Don't go for a new design, with a traditional style (but the club has never worn it). That's what Port and Freo did. Both aren't bad with the Vs because they're simple and also both new clubs.

Yeah I like how both the Giants and Hawks guernseys turned out
I just can’t imagine the AFL 50 years from now 😂
It’ll probably be very similar and completely different at the same time 😂
@@mattn1 I reckon they'll just wear body paint which will make it harder to tackle.
the fashion can totally change. just look at the strange gear that soccer teams wore in the 90s. super large shirts with complex paisley designs.
Great video mate, suns should use that guernseys now
It’d be an improvement on the red on red jumper they’ve got now 😂
@@mattn1 😂

Agreed, fix the back and make a few adjustments to the front and it’s actually a pretty cool jumper

Great video mate well done
Thanks mate

You fucking cooked in this video. Great work
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Hawks have to be stripes or bust. Brown and gold is a very average combination, unless the brown is darker. But with stripes it works.
Did the Suns logo just copy the Scorchers logo. Methinks so.

Giants should be dark grey not black.
There’s too many that u just reused
Cool video concept tho
Not easy to come up with 18 new guernseys that look alright, especially when a lot of old designs suit the theme
Maybe in 50 years all the clubs might try older looking designs
