Great noise (Apt Callsign = Machete!). A few familiar names BeachcomberBloke, Jos De Lijster and Wenda Cox. I also definitely heard someone say 'Hello'. Seems that Gun jam is a regular occurrence with Apache and Chinook. Worrying! Would be catastrophe in real world battle. Sitting duck springs too mind. Oiii oiii Dan 🤙🏼 Bit risky at this part of the location due to turbulence from helicopters, especially the Chinook. It’s not fun hanging on to equipment, similar to that storm we both experienced. Was exciting seeing rockets fired, never seen this before so was really awesome. Loved the delay of the awesome sound
@TedConingsby Agree totally with the downdraft etc as when I filmed the Chinook after you'd gone. Had to step back and move away. Made it less enjoyable. Thankfully with cameras today, they are so good, even on phones. But in the hands of a real expert! Possibilities are endless
Didn't get there. But several years ago I went fishing with my dad and uncle near there. We had A10's and Tornadoes going over at around 200 feet, on and off all day.
@@michaelsnow7252 these things have gotta go, we took precaution and made our own range with mossie killers and spray. You can actually hear them in the video too
@@Tilly-f7l Hi Wenda, we would normally stay 'home' at Coningsby, but 11/11 lands on a Friday, and last year there was not much flying at all. So we have planned in Lakenheath. No matter where we go, we will do our 2 mins silence live too and we have a special flag also. We will most likely get a little tearful as we cannot help being in deep thought.... We understand that its not really a flying day but since we started this channel, we have grown more and more in depth with the past heroes and will never forget our heroes that gave us the reason to be here. That said, we stare at our heroes everyday...they are there now, the very men and women in the RAF (of course, all of the armed forces) are our today's heroes. Next year, Nikos plans to get more time for the channel, so we hope we can do something really special. We aren't able to do anything on the Sunday, but we will stream on the 11th, with a 2 mins silence. Our aim here is to get everyone involved and send a message to our younger viewers the importance of this date.
