Well, technically, one of the options for Timed in Ultimate is infinity, so really Smash Bros Ultimate is just flat out impossible to even beat even if the universe lasted forever.

Pokeballs can spawn any pokemon on any given toss so all the pokemon are one item. Counting the different pokemon would be like counting the different places a bobomb could spawn or what a party ball could contain. @Cuttlefish Man smash ultimate has no custome moves.

You sure do love your big numbers! On top of the player count changes, you could have also added in pallet swaps and team matches (which cause some unique pallet swaps of their own). Extra fun math I'm certain!
I personally think that if Waluigi is in the game, they shouldn't announce him. They should let people play the game and have him be the last person you unlock. People should just flip out (angrily or happily) when they see his silhouette.

^ this, adds at lest 8 color variants per-character in the 3ds version (which is just a different Wii-U version with less max players count, 4 instead of 8). if they add even just that skin number it will add x8 to the character count list... which is small but oh nelly lets not get into the "gear" possiblities u could get into when it came to "Customizing" fighters... cause each charater had 3 versions for each abilitly button & could wear 4 peices of gear that manipilated their base stats &/or added sub-perks... or u can just play with that setting turned off for all generic characters, but not fully for the 3 Mii characters (gear can be but not ability options as their fully custom made) which btw are in the new Smash, I mean he counted them as a character for the 75 but I'm draging on. it just gets even more silly... srry for the slight rant

A bit of a pet peeve of mine, but I'd like to bring attention to the rest of the SSB dev team who is also working incredibly hard alongside Sakurai to make SSBU the best game it can be. I love Sakurai and the memes surrounding him, but it's not *just* his game.
I'm not saying it's wrong to consider Smash to be Sakurai's game, he is the one who created it, indeed. By saying it's not "just his game" I was trying to say that he has an entire team under him who are also putting in a lot of hard work.

For the Smash 4 calculations, you didn't count the 3 mii fighter variants, all the possible mii appearances, the gear that any fighter can use, all the different custom stages and I think you missed the DLC characters
This video would have been great post release. The numbers were already so unimaginable. It would have been cool to see what that final number was with sora, banjo, and joker in the mix.

I don’t know anything about Pokémon so I can’t do the codes but 905 (which is what Google says is the current amount of Pokémon that exist) to the sixth power is 1,482,435,250 (per my calculations).

For the Smash 4 calculations, you didn't count the 3 mii fighter variants, all the possible mii appearances, the gear that any fighter can use, all the different custom stages and I think you missed the DLC characters
