I don't read a ton of romance but I was hoping for This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan to make it to the finals because I've heard amazing things about it and the premise sounds really good but it's not popular enough to be available in my country. Fingers crossed publishers here pick it up anyway 🤞
I’ve somehow read 4 of the top 10 mystery/thrillers, not my category at all. I’ve been trying to read the top 10 romantasy (read 8, not reading the big series), fantasy (I’ve read 9 and I’m not sure if I want to read the lost story), and YA fiction (read 8 again). The 2 history/biography I’ve read (the not americana ones) somehow both made it through as well, really enjoyed the Marie Curie biography
To say that an author shouldn't release a book within the time frame/be counted if they won last year is silly... While also saying "Stephen King... We need that" 😂
imagine i'm just enjoying my wednesday morning and then i hear you LAUGHING AT MY PAIN!!!!! (jk love u)
It was… sympathetic laughter? 😅 Can’t wait for the vlog!!!!

Stardust Grail is a cute sci fi heist with an adorable giant octopus alien called Uncle as a sidekick and I love them so much
Look at you! 👏
First Lie Wins has almost 500k ratings so it's not far behind Freida. I'm optimistic we can slay the atrocity that is The Teacher
First Lie Wins is worse than any Frieda book nobody is winning in this situation
Im partway through an arc of the sequel to The Tainted Cup and it does seem very episodic
That’s what I want, yay🎉
Yay good to know!
If Kristen Ashley wrote historical fiction imagine how on and on she could go about curling super thick hair …… rats nest 😂
I always wish they would show the other nominations below the top 10. It's hard to remember which were on the full list.
Agreed!!
I refused to vote in the audiobook category just... argh.
Why didn't you wait to do this later in the day with Jess like the first time? ☹️
Jess is not available this week
