I’m so sorry to hear about your dad…I lost mine almost 7 years ago, and I miss him more now than ever. The following year, we lost our first grandson due to epilepsy…he was about ready to graduate from college. The thing is…we will be reunited one day when the Lord calls my name. Amy, what a blessing you are! I just found your channel yesterday and have been binge-watching ever since. You’ve already helped me solve a couple of decorating issues. I was at a loss of how I wanted to do an area, and your coffee bar just fits the bill. The scriptures that you share always have great meaning and application. Three years ago on Thanksgiving, the Lord suddenly called my husband home (I was only 62), and yesterday (April 2nd) would have been our 45th wedding anniversary. On Christmas Eve my 101 year old Mother went to be with her Savior, and this past Tuesday my sister moved to be near her daughter... 10 hours away... so I was feeling mighty alone. You helped to take my mind off of my sadness, and instead have directed my energy towards fixing up areas that had been put on hold for the past year as we helped mom. Your decorating style is exactly what I love for my own home, so you are giving me lots of ideas. Thank you again for sharing your talents, as well as your heart with us. I pray that the Lord will richly bless you, and comfort you in the loss of your Dad... trust me, I know exactly how you feel!!! My Dad was a Pastor, and went to be with his Savior 13 years ago. All these losses are hard, but what sweet peace we have in KNOWING where our loved ones are, and clinging to the promise of being reunited one day soon!!! 🙏🏻. *** Now I’ll resume my binge-watching!!! ❤️🥰

Hi Sweet Amy - You sure are bringing some beautiful spring into your home and I’m glad you are even getting some spring-ish weather. It’s sunny and in the mid 70’s here. I live about 10 min from the Gulf of Mexico and today I met some friends for lunch out at one of our favorite restaurants on the beach. It was so nice. The friends and I worked together for 30 years at a large chemical complex and we make it a point to get together for lunch three times a year. It was so much fun to catch up on everybody. My heart hurts for you Amy as I so understand you missing your Daddy. Mine has been gone 27 years and my mom for 15 years. I still think of things I want to ask them or tell them. I know they would be so delighted with our sweet Rachel as they were so in love with their grandchildren and such a presence in their lives. How wonderful to know your dad was a Godly man and you will see him again someday. I am excited about your Q&A. Have you ever done one before? I dont remember one. Have you ever worked outside the home? Where did you and your husband meet? Do you live in your hometown or did you move away? I think you said your husband worked in the medical field? You are such an inspiration to all of us. No matter how old you are (I'm 69), you miss your parents that have gone on to be with the Lord. My mom passed away last March 25 at the age of 92. I totally agree with you about spending time with loved ones and telling them you love them! I lost my beautiful mom 6 & 1/2 years ago. Then my precious daughter 6 years ago tomorrow. I miss them both terribly but it has gotten better. It’s a new normal. Time helps us learn to live with it. I feel for you. It’s still early and your probably still in shock of his passing. Your dining room is so very pretty!! When you added the riser to your honey jar, it made all the difference. I love little risers like that. Your pots that you diy’d look so nice! My question to you is have you always been a stay at home mom? I think you’re a stay at home mom. If I’m wrong I apologize. I ask because it’s something I tease myself about. I usually respond when asked that I’ve been on maternity leave for 35 years. I am sorry for your loss of your daddy. Losing someone we are close to and love is so hard. I look forward to Fridays when I know there will be a new video from you posted. I got new pillow covers at Hobby Lobby this morning and was struggling getting the pillow insert it. Then I remembered your tip from another video to fold the insert in half and put it in the cover and fluff it into the corners. That worked so great and made it so easy. I have used so many ideas from your wonderful videos. Great tip today on what to do with the long flower stems. Thank you!

Amy, first I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss of your sweet daddy. Oh, my how I feel your pain. I lost my sweet dad over 40 years ago and I still miss him. It is so great to have our treasures they made and gave to us. The love goes on forever in our hearts and we keep them near with our memories. I’m sure your dad was so very proud of you. Hi Amy Happy Friday. We have had a clear blue sky here today and it sure feels like Spring with so many daffodils about. I love the bird cage with the little bird in it, and everything else of course. I loved the tip of wrapping a book in brown craft paper. I'll do that. A lovely Bible reading as we should always remember to use pleasant/kind words. I have a plaque in my kitchen that says when you see a robin, say hello and they will take a message to heaven for you. As usual, I love how everything turned out! I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. As daughters, it is so incredibly hard to lose our Daddies. I lost my Dad 2 months after my husband passed away in 2011. I’ve found comfort in knowing they are both at peace, healthy, and happy keeping each other company in Heaven doing the things they loved. My prayers are with you and hope you can feel that same peace and comfort.
Oh my Julie. I may not know you but when I read your comment, I got a lump in my throat and my heart just broke for you. That must have been such a challenging time. I am sure your positive attitude has helped you through the years. I had lost my mom to breast cancer and two brothers, one had prostrate cancer and the other had a rare form of cancer that we don't hear a lot about. On Christmas Eve my 101 year old Mother went to be with her Savior, and this past Tuesday my sister moved to be near her daughter... 10 hours away... so I was feeling mighty alone. You helped to take my mind off of my sadness, and instead have directed my energy towards fixing up areas that had been put on hold for the past year as we helped mom. Your decorating style is exactly what I love for my own home, so you are giving me lots of ideas. Thank you again for sharing your talents, as well as your heart with us. I pray that the Lord will richly bless you, and comfort you in the loss of your Dad... trust me, I know exactly how you feel!!! My Dad was a Pastor, and went to be with his Savior 13 years ago. Hi Sweet Amy - You sure are bringing some beautiful spring into your home and I’m glad you are even getting some spring-ish weather. It’s sunny and in the mid 70’s here. I live about 10 min from the Gulf of Mexico and today I met some friends for lunch out at one of our favorite restaurants on the beach. It was so nice. The friends and I worked together for 30 years at a large chemical complex and we make it a point to get together for lunch three times a year. It was so much fun to catch up on everybody. My heart hurts for you Amy as I so understand you missing your Daddy. Mine has been gone 27 years and my mom for 15 years. I still think of things I want to ask them or tell them. I know they would be so delighted with our sweet Rachel as they were so in love with their grandchildren and such a presence in their lives. How wonderful to know your dad was a Godly man and you will see him again someday. I am excited about your Q&A. Have you ever done one before? I dont remember one. Have you ever worked outside the home? Where did you and your husband meet? Do you live in your hometown or did you move away? I think you said your husband worked in the medical field? You are such an inspiration to all of us. No matter how old you are (I'm 69), you miss your parents that have gone on to be with the Lord. My mom passed away last March 25 at the age of 92. I totally agree with you about spending time with loved ones and telling them you love them! I lost my beautiful mom 6 & 1/2 years ago. Then my precious daughter 6 years ago tomorrow. I miss them both terribly but it has gotten better. It’s a new normal. Time helps us learn to live with it. I feel for you. It’s still early and your probably still in shock of his passing. Your dining room is so very pretty!! When you added the riser to your honey jar, it made all the difference. I love little risers like that. Your pots that you diy’d look so nice! My question to you is have you always been a stay at home mom? I think you’re a stay at home mom. If I’m wrong I apologize. I ask because it’s something I tease myself about. I look forward to Fridays when I know there will be a new video from you posted. I got new pillow covers at Hobby Lobby this morning and was struggling getting the pillow insert it. Then I remembered your tip from another video to fold the insert in half and put it in the cover and fluff it into the corners. That worked so great and made it so easy. Amy, first I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss of your sweet daddy. Oh, my how I feel your pain. I lost my sweet dad over 40 years ago and I still miss him. It is so great to have our treasures they made and gave to us. The love goes on forever in our hearts and we keep them near with our memories. I’m sure your dad was so very proud of you. Happy Friday. We have had a clear blue sky here today and it sure feels like Spring with so many daffodils about. I love the bird cage with the little bird in it, and everything else of course. I loved the tip of wrapping a book in brown craft paper. I'll do that. A lovely Bible reading as we should always remember to use pleasant/kind words. I have a plaque in my kitchen that says when you see a robin, say hello and they will take a message to heaven for you. I do this often. My question for a Q & A is, what is your favourite season/festival to decorate for and why?

As usual, I love how everything turned out! I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. As daughters, it is so incredibly hard to lose our Daddies. I lost my Dad 2 months after my husband passed away in 2011. I’ve found comfort in knowing they are both at peace, healthy, and happy keeping each other company in Heaven doing the things they loved. My prayers are with you and hope you can feel that same peace and comfort.
Oh my Julie. I may not know you but when I read your comment, I got a lump in my throat and my heart just broke for you. That must have been such a challenging time. I am sure your positive attitude has helped you through the years. I had lost my mom to breast cancer and two brothers, one had prostrate cancer and the other had a rare form of cancer that we don't hear a lot about. I know pain and even though the years have passed, I just wanted to send you a big virtual Hug.
